Lynda Cohen Loigman joins me today to discuss one of my favorite books of the year - The Matchmaker’s Gift.  This book is a heartwarming story of two extraordinary women from two different eras who defy expectations to utilize their unique gift of seeing soulmates in the most unexpected places. It's ironic.  Words are kind of my thing!  For some reason, I both can't stop thinking and talking about this book...but I also can't come up with the words to describe it.  Why is that? This book touched my soul.  It struck a different cord after recently marrying my soulmate Todd Moore.  I laughed and cried....even cut out of work early to get back to it!  The one word that keeps coming to my mind is one I read in The Matchmaker's Gift - bashert which is the Yiddish word for a soulmate!   I guarantee this book will move you in ways you didn't see coming!

The Cloisters is a sinister, atmospheric novel following a circle of researchers as they uncover a mysterious deck of tarot cards and shocking secrets in New York’s famed Met Cloisters.  Katy Hays joins me today to discuss her debut novel The Cloisters.  This book reminded me of a cross between Alex Michaelides’ The Maidens and Dan Brown’s Da Vinci Code (that became a movie with Tom Hanks)...but with an NYC backdrop.  This is a must-read!!!!

Meg Mitchell Moore joins me today to discuss all things Vacationland which is a delicious summer read set in Maine, tackling family secrets, marriage, motherhood, and privilege. This book got a stamp of approval by the one and only Queen of Summer Elin Hildebrand which is how I heard about this new to me author.  As many of you know, I LOVE smut books (or beach reads) in a big way….and this one is PERFECT!  I hope you enjoy our podcast chat and the book as much as I did.
