After 15 years away from the sport, Iron Mike is back in the ring and he is ready to fight. The only fighter ready to answer that call is Roy Jones, Jr. September 12th Tyson and Jones will face off in an eight round exhibition match. I know that this fight is far from what it could have been maybe 17 years ago, but it still has enough flare to get fans to watch. Of course we talk about what this fight could have been back in 2003, but we also talk about the good and the bad of two 50-somethings in the ring. But overall you can't argue that you feel some type of thrill seeing boxing's former star attractions in the ring finally! So lets go JABsquad!

#JABpodcast 134 (Boxing is Back!)
We are back boxing fans with another show! Boxing has returned, but first we want to speak on Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua and their recent responses to the killing of George Floyd and the many innocent lives around the country. Both fighters expressed their pain in different ways but both were very effective in their statements. We think its important as fighters/champions they bring forth words of wisdom outside of the ring as well because whether chosen or not they are role models! Boxing made its return this past Tuesday with Shakur Stevenson making a KO return over Felix Caraballo, but we had several boxers test positive of COVID-19 forcing them away from the action. How excited were you for the return of boxing?? Also Manny Pacquiao vs. Gennady Golovkin, how serious is this match up and will it happen soon? Tune in and listen to Combobreaker99 & BoxingP and make sure you subscribe and enjoy!! RIP Breonnaa Taylor, George Floyd, and Ahmaud Arbery.

#JABpodcast 131 (Friday Night Boxing Talk)
Whats up JABsquad we are back with another episode of the JABpodcast another lockdown edition. This evening we discussed some non-boxing events that may affect out sport as well. Dana White recently had the plug pulled on his plan to have UFC 249 in a "secret" location. Just going back and trying to figure out why did Dana want to hold this event so bad? Was it really care for the fighters or was it greed? Dana also spoke of possibly having a "Fight Island" where UFC will hold its events in the future! Is this something we could eventually see in boxing?? Also we talk Errol Spence, Jr. and his recent interview with FightHype. Spence spoke on some interesting topics about his relationship with Al Haymon, and how he really has been a key to his financial success. We think its critical a boxer is familiar with how to set up his or her financial plans for the future. Every fighter should have some sort of plan set up for that day when they can't fight any more. And it looks like Al Haymon does his best to set his fighters up in the right direction. And last we read responses from our weekly IG question for this episode: "What is the worst fight you have seen in boxing?" So tune in, make sure you subscribe and enjoy!! #JABpodcast

#JABpodcast 130 (A Fighter’s Worth)
Whats up JABsquad! We are still in this lockdown right now, but we still got some boxing to talk about. Today we wanna talk about promoter Bob Arum and his choice of words for Dana White wanting to follow through with UFC 249. Why is Dana so anxious to put these fighters at risk? Boxing events all over the world for the next undisclosed amount of months have been canceled so why does Dana feel his organization is exempt from this quarantine? Also Big George Foreman recently had a conversation with former champion Deontay Wilder, and according to George everything went well. Will George serve as an adviser or a trainer for Wilder? Big George definitely has the experience and technique that could give Wilder a step up in his game. And last we asked our followers on IG "Which boxer had a style that keeps them watching?" So we go down the list and read our follower's response!! So tune into the show and enjoy this boxing conversation!

We want to pay our respects to Roger and let the world know we truly loss a piece of boxing. Also we talk about the cancellation of boxing cards and MMA cards due to the spread of the Corona COVID-19 virus and what this means for the sport. Does closed venues benefit the athletes? #JABpodcast 128 (Taking the L)
Winning is the feeling every champion never wants to be rid of as long as they can help it, but taking a loss can sometimes be in the cards. Losing can be even more life changing than winning. Its a time when true feelings are shown by the fighter, the fans, and the people around him or her. So today we're gonna discuss the feelings of a fighter taking a loss and why they shouldn't see a "loss" as a total loss! Also why its important to remain humble and appreciate an "L" the same as you would a "W." So make sit back and listen and subscribe!

#JABpodcast 127 (Call it Out)
We are back with another episode to discuss more aftermath of the Wilder vs Fury rematch. And one of the biggest topics is the glove situation with Tyson Fury. There's a lot of fanboys who want to ignore the tactics of boxers, and there's other fans of the sport that just want it acknowledge and call it like it is. It's nothing new to boxing, and we discuss the use of dirty tricks and veteran tricks in this episode. Also the possibilities of new trainers for Wilder in the wake of the rubber match. We also discuss a solid fight in Mikey Garcia vs. Jessie Vargas! So tune in and subscribe!!! #JABpodcast

#JABpodcast 126 (Prepare for the Worst)
We are back once again with another episode! Last weekend was a major shake up in the heavyweight division. Tyson Fury was able to dominate and stop Deontay Wilder in 7 to reclaim the heavyweight crown. With this major change in the ring, it has altered some things outside the ring as well. Wilder had some setbacks before the fight and the letting go of Mark Breland after the fight. Fury is possibly in line to get the coveted Anthony Joshua fight. Are Wilder's claims legit or was Fury just that good? So much to talk about so just tune into this episode of the #JABpodcast!!!

#JABpodcast 124 (Fairplay)
This evening we wanna revisit some topics that keeps that dark cloud over boxing once again. Tank Davis was recently arrested after an altercation with his mother's child at a big event and since the video has been out, everyone seems to be really out to get Tank Davis. We really wanna go back and just see how serious this situation and compare it to other boxers or athletes who have been in similar situations, but seem to be treated a little different. Also Alejandra Jimenez was recently stripped of her WBC title after testing positive for a banned substance so we want tolook at the consequences that await her as well. Also should Franchon Crews Dezurn rematch her or just be given the belts back?? We discuss all that here on the #JABpodcast so tune in and subscribe!!!!
