Mike is a content creator on all major social media platforms. Before content creating Mike served in the military and was a counselor helping others that were battling  with substance abuse issues. Mike gives some insight on the mindset of someone who might be suffering with abuse. 

Assistant Chief Josh L. and I discuss leadership, mentorship, and influencers. Josh actually and I have been friends for years. Josh gave me my first break in teaching and would allow me to teach along side him during his fire academies. Josh and I discuss teaching and mentorship and how it has affected us and how it affects others. 

In this episode we discuss instruction and how boring it can be and how the instructor can have an impact on the student.  We begin to discuss reasons why an individual may choose to leave an organization halfway through their career. 

In this episode my good friend Lea with more than 30 years of fire service experience, an accomplished and well traveled athlete tells what it is like to work for Disneyland Fire . She also Lea tells the story of some of the hardships she faced as a female firefighter in her career. 

Tony a 30 plus year fire veteran, he gives his perspective on retirement. Tony talks about how he came to the realization that it was time for retirement and gives some insight for many  who are considering retiring.  

After a long time coming we launch our first podcast! In this episode I welcome my friend  Matt to the podcast. Matt discuss how he uses strength training to help with his sobriety. Matt talks about how difficult it still is for him to stay sober even after a decade of sobriety. I hope we all can take what Matt has to say and hope that we too can help a fellow brother or sister in need.
