There was a lot of speculation the Ed Depriest had actually died. I thought this very strange as I pretty much talk to him multiple times a week. So I decided to sit down and interview the man about his long career of shooting surfing, softcore and then eventually hardcore.  I met Ed back in the early 90′s while I was working for Tommy SInopoli and Mike Esposito at Visual Images.  Over the years I have worked with Ed quite a bit doing boxcovers for him and some dvd authoring and editing.  In the past six or seven years we have partnered up and put out quite a few dvd’s ourselves with our company Halo Park.  Including an Emmanuele boxset along with some of Ed’s buddy’s surf movies.
