In this day and age, with social media being as big as it is, I don't think anyone is online who hasn't dealt with trolls? I could be wrong, but many of the people I know and chat with have all had to deal with one or more trolls during their online life. The thing is, how do you deal with trolls? There are numerous ways, and I cover a few today in the show.

It may sound corny, but it truly is time to come together as one to make it through this pandemic and the aftermath that's coming. There isn't much more to say by typing. just listen to the podcast.

Life can get a little crazy. It doesn't take much to make that happen and when it does all hell breaks loose with it. The thing is there are ways to deal with craziness, madness, and insanity. Cheap talk is costly to us mentally, emotionally, and sometimes physically, but it doesn't have to be. We decide what we want to keep in our thoughts not others. They talk cheap and enjoy it, but that doesn't mean we have to listen to it and let it interfere with our work or lives. Sometimes you have to walk away.

It ain't like being in prison. Sorry for the poor use of language, but let's be real. Sheltering-in-place is nothing like being in prison. It doesn't come close. You can't order pizza when in prison. You can't spend time with loved ones. You can't go to your fridge to grab some food, and you can't do anything you can do at home. Now, what do you think? Want to debate this with me? It's a crazy time right now and keeping your it's about you is hard enough without having to think about homeschooling. But this can be a great time for you and the kids. Just go with the flow.

Listening is a skill. I consider listening not just a skill, but the most important skill one can learn continually. There is never a point where you become the best listener. THere's never a point where you become an expert at listening. The reason being is that everything around us is changing and we have to adjust our listening skills to accommodate those things continually. Which means we have to keep learning to listen.

You betcha! Life is going to change for all of us very soon. For some, it will be a small change and for others, it will be monumental. One thing for sure life is going to change and we need to prepare for it.

Can you have fun during times like these? Of course. Just check out your kids or grandkids. Maybe it's the kids in the neighborhood? Whichever you pick, you need to copy their coping skills. I have found our grandkids have a better handle on this sheltering-in-place stuff than anyone else. Pay attention and copy!

How are you handling things right now? Are you wearing a mask? Should you be wearing one? How about shopping, hanging out and everything else that's hard to do right now? There is so much to consider right now and it's all happening quickly in some ways and not fast enough in others. Tune in for more!

There isn't much left thee days, and what is left isn't what you really want. What to do, what to do? In times like these we need to regroup and be resourceful as best we can. And, that isn't easy. Stay safe. Stay inside. Wash your hands, and take care of the kiddos.

I don't know about you, but all of this stress is getting to me. Each day there's something new added to the talk out there or something has changed. Nothing at this point is constant. Will there be consistency at some point? Who knows. Only time will tell. Until then we have to concern ourselves with the well being of not only our own lives but the lives of our family. 

We're talking about coronavirus and what to do with ourselves while sheltered. I have Peyton in the house today and she has lots to say about what we're going through.

We're back after a long and restful vacation. I guess 9-10 months was too long for some listeners and sponsors of the original podcast. Sorry, it took us so long. The thing is we're back and ready to rock and roll. We'll be talking about almost everything you can think of. Although we won't cover things that are hateful to anyone or depressing stories we don't need in our lives. You'll not only hear from me but also Patti, my wife, and our grandkids when they want to join in. Don't worry; we're not adding the grandkids to boost up listeners. It wouldn't work since most of the time; the kids aren't in a talking mood. They will be here though from time to time, giving their opinion on whatever we're talking about that day.
