I’m going to read one of my most popular posts I shared on social media because I have a feeling someone need to hear it... here we go:I will never forget the judge standing next to me at the county recorder window...back when i didn't have a clue what the hell was going on in the middle of my house foreclosure...he was wearing a suit so i smiled and said hello then asked if he was a lawyer. He said no I'm a judge. I said oh well maybe you could tell me what i can do to stay in my house. He said "there are things you could do if you knew what to file but I'm sorry I can't help you and I told you too much already". He looked genuinely nervous and kept glancing over to the people behind the window. I was like wtf do you mean? Wait? Tell me. Help me understand. Hey... What do I file?? But not another word came outta his mouth. He spoke only to the clerks and ignored me. He finished his business then he just walked away from the window without looking back. I frantically scoured the internet in search of something, anything but nothing solid materialized in time. I somehow managed to stave off the inevitable by submitting a sloppy motion for 180 days based on health. The judge granted 30 days. Well I made sure to give him the update when I was granted the 30 days and he was stunned into silence. It was a small win but THAT lit a fire in me. I started this group to share whatever info I come across. If you're willing to share your journey my only "requirement" is to share with love, kindness and humility. We're all learning and growing and we've only just begun so the story is not over!The court officers are operators within a municipal corporation which is why they hide this fact. Through the process of researching law, I learned that a foreclosure by summary judgement, the judge must have a commercial bond. Without a commercial bond it is a violation of commercial law. Case law is not a substitute for a commercial bond. This is because the court is a municipal corporation and municipal corporations must have a public hazard bond to protect the public from harm. Because they do not  operate with clean hands, in good faith with full disclosure the entire matter is illegal. It is also tax fraud for the courts to rule on matters that can be settled between the parties without the court.Keep learning and never quit fighting. The wrongdoers count on people giving up hope but the man who reversed his foreclosure after 14 years instilled renewed sense of hope despite the odds.That’s how I found a few documents that can stop foreclosure which I will provide to anyone in exchange for an interview because you never know who your story will help. Hassan Bennett is a man who shares his journey from spending 4606 days in prison as a convicted felon to overturning his wrongful conviction. His journey to freedom is testament of hope and an amazing story of why it’s important to fight for yourself.Hassan is a free man today after serving 13 years precisely because he never gave up on himself.  Here’s the path that ultimately led to freedom: The first trial ended in a mistrial. But later, he was found guilty in a second trial. That’s when Hassan made the decision to take matters into his own hands and he began studying and researching law. He fired several lawyers, filed his own petition, and when he was denied his petition to defend himself Hassan wrote the judge everyday for 30 days until the judge agreed to allow Hassan to defend himself in court.  He was granted a new trial based on his own appellate arguments. Next, upon cross examination of the detective on the stand by Hassan, the detective admitted that he (the detective) threatened, beat-up and coerce witnesses to blame Hassan for a murder Hassan did not commit. Hassan went from having a life sentence to an acquittal by standing up for justice despite the overwhelming odds that were stacked against him --- this is evidence that you are your own best lawyer. Hassan achieved for himself what 4 lawyers refused to do for him -- get his conviction overturned.  If he can do it, I’m here to tell you you can do it too. Hassan's story is proof justice will prevail as long as he kept fighting to prove his innocence. Despite the odds. Despite spending 13 years in prison for a crime he didn't commit, Hassan achieved what 4 lawyers couldn't do -- get his conviction overturned. How? He did the research.
