010122: Previewing Notre Dame vs Oklahoma St
Happy New Year! On the January 1st, 2022 edition of Notre Dame Federal Credit Union's Irish Sports Saturdays, hosts Angelo Di Carlo and Ilia Glazman discuss #5 Notre Dame's Fiesta bowl matchup with #9 Oklahoma State. It's the start of the Marcus Freeman era--can the Irish come away with a victory over the Cowboys' top ranked defense. We look at what a win would mean for the program (and what a loss would mean too). Plus, changes on the offensive line and how that could affect the pass game. Mike Elston will call the defensive plays today. If the Irish have good results, could that lead to him getting the defensive coordinator job? And what Irish players are staying and going. We close the show with a deeper dive in Oklahoma State's strengths and the guys wrap things up with the game predictions.
