I can spend a lot of time by myself and I am completely ok with that. I even crave being by myself. I used to feel guilty for wanting to be alone.  I understand myself better now and there's no guilt. I like this article about Solitude vs Isolation: "From the outside, solitude and loneliness look a lot alike. Both are characterized by solitariness. But all resemblance ends at the surface. Loneliness is a negative state, marked by a sense of isolation. One feels that something is missing. It is possible to be with people and still feel lonely—perhaps the most bitter form of loneliness. Solitude is the state of being alone without being lonely. It is a positive and constructive state of engagement with oneself. Solitude is desirable, a state of being alone where you provide yourself wonderful and sufficient company. Solitude is a time that can be used for reflection, inner searching or growth or enjoyment of some kind. Deep reading requires solitude, so does experiencing the beauty of nature. Thinking and creativity usually do too. Solitude suggests peacefulness stemming from a state of inner richness. It is a means of enjoying the quiet and whatever it brings that is satisfying and from which we draw sustenance. It is something we cultivate. Solitude is refreshing; an opportunity to renew ourselves. In other words, it replenishes us." I have this weird thing I don't understand well. I feel guilty for being sick. My health took a dive the last 2 months. I pushed myself hard to keep working on my business and podcast. Eventually I had to stop to rest and get help. I have a hard time saying what is wrong sometimes I don't even tell my doctor. But this time it was different. Some years ago my wrists started hurting when I typed on my computer. I ignored the pain like any other Macho man. That was stupid and after a few years of not taking this serious, the pain was horrible and 24/7. I spent years seeing doctors, therapists, surgery and doing alternative medicines searching for a cure. And I didn't know exactly what was wrong!? The pain started in my wrists and after many years it spread to my forearms, hands, back, neck, feet! I am still not 100% sure what this is.  After many tests and doctors, I was give many diagnosis. It may be Carpal Tunnel, repetitive stress, tendonitis, spine issues or my mind. Reading books like “It’s Not carpal Tunnel Syndrome” by Suparna Damany, physical therapy, rest, exercise, posture and meditation helped me. I had some misunderstandings about introverts.  I thought I was an introvert but really what does that mean? I thought I was stuck!
