#66 - The senselessness of gun violence
I am not sure how so much violence has a place in the world we live in. What can we do about it? Something has to give and we all have a responsibility to make our world a better place

#65 - The world does not owe you any favours
A sense of entitlement can hinder the very progress you need to get to where you need to be. No one is saying you have to feel worthless but humility goes a very long way to preparing you for the big leagues. Do not be angry at life when thingsdo not go your way. If they always did, you would be spoilt and more than likely not self-sufficient in most regards. Your blessings will come, some will take longer than others.

#64 - Live fearlessly and watch your life change
When the fear becomes bigger than your ambition, it's high time you made changes NOW! Fear is often the difference between mediocre achievements and extraordinary ones. For all you are unable to change in life, there is plenty more about yourself that you can to more than make up for that. Remember, 2015 is about less excuses and more ACTION!

#63 - I saw Chris again today
After the first time I met Chris and he told me he had tried to take his own life just 2 days prior I was quite worried about the guy! It made me happy to know he felt he still had more to give this earth. I certainly hope his will for living is doubled by the day.

#62 - Embrace your individuality
Sometimes we spend too much time and energy trying to be who and what we are not. For what exactly? Who gains? There is nothing wrong in trying to be a better person and that is best being a better version of you. You are awesome (just as you are)!

#61 - Curbing demotivation: Quick fixes
When you need to get your focus back what do you do? Demotivation should never be a habit thus we should learn to employ tactics that help us to get back on the money sooner rather than later. It's always the ones who have the ability to counter the challenges and pick themselves up in the face of adversity who go furthest. That could well be... YOU!

#60 - A thought for the new week
Do you realise how easy it is to complain amidst the many blessings in our lives? The fact that you woke up today is a blessing in itself but we somehow 'overlook' that. How ungrateful we can be! Life has no guaranteed except death. Lest we forget how blessed we are.

#59 - Knowing what to do vs Actually doing it
Mental preparation has a lot to do with whether you will go through something you commit to or not. The good thing? It's not rocket science so let's DO THIS!

#58 - How to exercise without sacrificing your spare time
When life kinda gets in the way how do you continue to incorporate 'extras' such as working out? This has been a headscratcher for me for a long while but I have finally found my optimum zone in terms of this... It looks like I never needed to 'waste' my time exercising after all!

#57 - What to do after countless disappointment
When people disappoint us, the very last place we will ever look to seek change is in OURSELVES. Sometimes the disappointments we come across are a product of our own being. In the event that they are, a change in attitude and how we approach our dealings with other people can greatly alter our fortunes. Disappointment will forever be a part of our lives once in a while but that does not mean it has the mandate to keep us down.

#56 - The benefit in putting others before yourself
We can be fairly selfish about life as we live it and our environment often influences that. Be wary of following the crowd if it compromises your inner peace and being. Putting others first fulfills our own lives before those we bless with our consideration.

#55 - Is your pride stopping you from success?
Whoever you are, knowing where you are on the foodchain can be a blessing. Humility goes a long way but often our pride puts us in positions we have not yet reached. This can be dangerous towards our goals and dreams. Make sure you do not fall into this trap.

#54 - Take care of yourself, take care of your body
Taking care of yourself and your body shouldn't be something you only get to when you are 'older'. Make positive lifestyle choices early on in order to have fewer health regrets later

#53 - Don't fall into the trap of 'overplanning'
Plans can be exciting to make and that journey can be fulfilling but only if you follow through on the plan. A good plan still requires action!

#52 - The simple way to get over feeling overwhelmed
Getting over that hump where you feel overwhelmed can be fairly challenging... But how do you do it? I believe in keeping things simple. How do you tackle anything that seems a bit bulky for you? By using the tools at your disposal to break it down to manageable chunks. This concept is what we forget the most when we are overwhelmed with life.

#51 - #147isnotjustanumber: Kenya, we care...
On April 2nd 147 students at Garissa University College in Kenya were killed with several others injured following an attack by a militant group. This should have NEVER happened. Why doesn't the world seem to care?

#50 - Being sick and tired of being sick and tired
You are your life's own revolutionary. Simple.

#49 - Tips on how to think positively
There is nothing 'fake' about choosing to think positively during tough times. It's all about seeing beyond 'now'.

#48 - Life lessons aplenty
I am enjoying this phase of learning about life. I feel as though I am in a new class in the school of life. The key is really that I actually WANT to learn a whole lot to become a much better version of me. This is a sacred place that many never get to simply because 'living life' is enough. I say it isn't. There is a lot more to this life we are living and each one of us can discover the greatness that is locked away somewhere. Why not?

#47 - Money will not make you happy
The pursuit of money is one that has most of the world convinced that it is the answer to all our problems. Sadly, that is potentially one of the most narrow-minded assumptions that cover the world today. We are somewhat chasing our own tails where the accumulation of money is concerned but when others tell us that happiness does not live there... we never believe them, we wanna find out for ourselves... ok.
