#33: Shaman Kirkland - Experiences in Politics, Race, and Religion
Shaman Kirkland is a graduate of the University of Southern Maine where he majored in Political Science. He has had numerous prominent positions and experiences in the past several years, including working as a Senate campaign manager, attending a Costa Rica Youth Summit, and acting as president of PeaceJam USM. Shaman now owns and operates Organic Gardens farm in Juniata County, PA.
In this episode, Shaman and Nick sit down to discuss what it's like to be on the inside of politics in the US, and they dive deep into some of the divisive issues both at home and abroad. Shaman weighs in on his thoughts and experiences regarding racism in America, and he describes his views on religion and how it has shaped his life.
