Jade Turner
Jade Turner is an award-winning songwriter, performer, and rising star in Manitoba’s country scene. Winner of 2017’s IMA Best Country Album and 2018’s MCMA Emerging Artist of the Year award, with many more nominations to boot, Jade Turner is well on her way to making her mark on the Canadian music scene, and Turner feels the best is yet to come.  Following the release of her last Single “Hangover Blues”, which has well over 100k streams on Spotify, comes Jade's brand new song ‘Somehow Someone”! This song is a beautiful and fun take on having faith that Creator (Manito in Nehiyawewin) is always there for you and somehow finds his way to you through music.   Music is healing and this song definitely opens your heart to feel like someone’s got your back. I know how much music has helped me so I wanted to try write a song that can also help someone else. Those are the best kind of songs.” - Jade Somehow Someone will be available to download June 14 and released to radio June 18!  https://www.jadeturnermusic.com/ https://m.facebook.com/Jadeturnermusic/ https://www.instagram.com/jade.turner.music/ https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCmGj4UVXnvUogXUu_UQgStQ?view_as=subscriber https://ffm.to/highwaytown

Hayley Jensen
Hayley became a household name in her homeland after placing 4th on Australian Idol & later, on The Voice Australia. In 2018, Jensen signed with Social Family Records to release her ARIA #3 Australian Country Album, 'Turning Up The Dial' produced in Nashville by Grammy Award winning producer, Jamie Tate, featuring festival hits 'Summertime Soundtrack', 'Saturday Night' & 'Next Big Thing'. The same year, Hayley was invited to the UK to perform at Buckle & Boots Country Festival & was a finalist in the 2018 CMC Awards. She has also won an Australian Independent Country Music Award. 2019 saw Jensen tour Canada, performing at Calgary Stampede, Alberta and Dauphin's CountryFest, Manitoba - the only Australian artist on both official line ups. Whilst there, she collaborated extensively with Canadian artists and writers (including Jason McCoy & Clayton Bellamy of The Roadhammers, Dan Davidson, Troy Kokol), and has since begun work on her 4th studio album with Calgary based indigenous producer, Troy Kokol at Reluctant Cowboy Music. The first track to be released from the forthcoming album set new career highs for Jensen both in Australia and abroad. 'Breakin Hearts’, a swampy modern country song, debuted at #1 on iTunes and was the #1 Australian song at country radio according to The Music Network (TMN) Airplay Charts. It was also added to Spotify's curated 'Fresh Country' playlist. Abroad, it cracked the Canadian Country Top 100 radio charts and was the #32 most played song on CBC Music on SiriusXM across North America. The track was accompanied by a unique, animated Wild West themed music video that tells the story of a heart-breaker outlaw who meets his match in a sassy female cowgirl. Scripted by Jensen, the video premiered exclusively on CMT, was featured in their Top 100 videos for 2020, and has accumulated 75k+ views online Hot on the heels of the success of Breakin’ Hearts’,  Jensen released a power pop-country bop, ‘Fireworks’  to Australian Country radio. Penned over Skype during lockdown with Aussie friend, expat and Billboard Country #1 songwriter, Phil Barton and partner, Dana Heaton-Perdue, the song once again featured the stellar, soaring powerhouse vocals we have come to expect from Jensen. The music video featured home videos of her fans, sharing sparklers with their loved ones. Released November last year continues to climb the charts and is currently one of the Top 20 Australian country tracks at radio. ‘Just Gonna Party’ is the third single to be released ahead of Hayley’s forthcoming album. It’s an upbeat, refreshing song that somehow manages to address the current worries of the world with a positive spin. The accompanying music video is an ‘out of this world’ animation by former Hanna Barbera animator, Reggie Entienza.  Produced & scripted by Jensen, it is sure to take you on an adventure! ‘Just Gonna Party’ was co-written with award winning Canadian writers Troy Kokol and Chris O’Neil and produced by Troy at Reluctant Cowboy Records - the same team that brought us ‘Breakin’ Hearts’ & ‘Fireworks’ last year. Meghan Patrick
Juno Award winning Country music superstar Meghan Patrick is celebrating her birthday by treating fans to new music.  “Never Giving Up on You” is the brand-new single from the two-time CCMA Female Artist of the Year, which follows hot on the heels of the recent official video release for “My First Car,” which takes fans on a biographical ride through Meghan’s early career.  Meghan will keep the celebration for “Never Giving Up on You” going with a takeover of Complete Country this Saturday, March 27th – click here to follow along. Of the new single Meghan says, “It’s always been difficult for me to write love songs that felt authentic and real to me without being cliché. If there’s one thing I’ve learned about love in this past year, it’s that it’s not just about romance, sparks and the good times. It’s about continuing to choose that person over and over again, even when things are rough. When I love something, I go all in, but it doesn’t always stick. True love is knowing this about yourself, but realizing you’ve found the one thing (or person) you will never give up on, no matter how hard it gets.” Many more exciting announcements are set to come from Meghan in the coming weeks

For me, it represents a lot of the bars I played on a nightly basis for years.  I made a lot of good friends in places like that. The best people. The kind that’d give you the shirt off their back if you needed it, and they did. I wanted to pay tribute to them.” ‘The Good, The Bad and The Pretty’ is the first new release from the four-time JUNO Award nominee and multi-Platinum selling CCMA Award winner since the June 2020 release of his Wreck This EP, which garnered his second #1 single with ‘No Truck Song’. His top 5 single ‘Loud’ from his album New Tattoo; which also featured his first #1 hit ‘What A Song Should Do’; was recently licensed to the NHL for the 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs and was chosen as the goal song for team Canada during the 2020 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championships. Brett Kissel
A new song from Brett Kissel.  "Make A Life Not A Living"   “This song is truly representative of where I’m at in my life right now…and probably – or hopefully – where many people are as we’ve adjusted to the challenges we’ve all faced over the last year,” says Kissel. “It’s about doing your best to live your best life – whatever that might be; being in the moment, being present, having gratitude and making the most of the time we have – that’s what is most important.

Robyn Ottolini
“My ex drove an F-150 and I f’ing hate that truck,” laughs Ottolini. “You might think that ‘F-150’ is just a truck song, but this isn’t about any ol’ truck. It’s about trying to move on and get strong, until you see that one thing that brings you back to the pain. Nothing does that more for me than his white, Ford F-150.” Ottolini continued: “You’re going to get to know the real me in the first 30 seconds of listening to any of my songs and if you love it, that’s cool. If you don’t love it, that’s cool too. Either way, country music has made me who I am today. It’s my safe place to land and it’s also the thing that pushes me further out of my comfort zone than I ever thought I could go. It doesn’t even feel real yet that I’ve signed a record deal with Warner Music Nashville to be honest, but if you’re telling me it’s real, I’ll trust you guys.” Inspired by artists like Maren Morris, Kacey Musgraves and Sam Hunt, she’s already released two EPs independently, including The I’m Not Always Hilarious EP last year, and was a Rising Star Award nominee at the Country Music Association of Ontario Awards in 2019. Ottolini is managed by Mark Schroor & Erik Fintelman from Workshop Music Group

Matt Martin
Matt Martin, a young tech entrepreneur raised on a dairy farm, continues to make exciting new waves in Canadian Country Music. Growing up in rural area, Matt feels a deep connection to Country Music and the roots that comprise what it is today.    Back at it with his second radio single, country fans will not be disappointed. “Passenger Seat”, released now in the summer of 2020, gives listeners a fun and irresistible invite into one of Matt’s favourite youthful experiences; summer road trips. The song was co-written in Nashville with Chris Buck, produced by Canada’s own Jordan Oorebeek, and mastered in Nashville by Mike Cervantes (Taylor Swift, Jake Owen). It takes just a few seconds to know this tune is designed for volume up, windows down, and making summer memories. If you’re like Matt, you’ll also want it to be in a Jeep.   His second highly anticipated single, “Passenger Seat” follows on the coattails of Matt’s debut single, “Never Gets Old”, released in summer 2019 and earned many hundreds of spins. Impressively, it was picked up on the first day by Spotify Canada’s “Live Country” playlist where it held its place for a full calendar year – helping it amass 175,000 streams in its first year on Spotify alone. The song also cracked Top 40 on Sirius XM’s “CBC Country” channel, and was featured on notable primary stations such as Kitchener’s Country 106.7 and Orillia/Barrie’s Pure Country 106, where fans voted the single a new favourite for days in a row. Not a bad independent debut!   A new single is not all that country fans have to look forward to from Matt Martin this year. With multiple writing trips to Nashville since last summer, Matt has been honing his craft with many great writers both south of the border and here at home in Canada. With a newly inspired direction for his music, Matt is finishing up a 6 song EP to be released in the coming months. Fans can expect an honest look into the complex but growing phenomena of a life inspired by country roots but expanded through urban and global experiences that are becoming more common to many of us today. Expect to hear some of the current country vibes experienced through artists like Russell Dickerson and Jake Owen, mixed with some of Matt’s earlier storytelling influences, such as Dierks Bentley and Rascal Flatts. However you interpret it, there’s no doubt you will get a real glimpse into the fun, lightheartedness of Matt’s personality without neglecting the very real, intimate moments of his life and relationships. You don’t want to miss the ride, so “hop on up this passenger seat” and get ready for some great new music from one of our very own budding Canadian Country stars
