Episode #32: Sticks and Stones: A conversation with Jator Pierre
First off – if you’ve been listening to this podcast for any length of time you’ll have noticed that I haven’t released any episodes for a while. This episode will allude to some of the major life events that have led to my absence in this space. That is changing – I am back and excited to share with you a beautiful conversation with a Human whom I respect and admire: Jator Pierre. I first met Jator at the CHEK Institute in the spring of 2018 – he is someone whom I perceive to be a master at Being Human. I don’t use these words lightly. To me Jator exemplifies what it means to be aware of oneself and to engage with the world from a place of individual authenticity and responsibility: concepts which I perceive to be sorely needed in today’s politically charged environment. If you want to learn more about what Jator does you can check him out via the links below. Jator’s Links If you enjoyed this episode do me a favor – share it with a friend, give it a review, AND take some of the wisdom here and apply it in your own life! Peace and Love Ya’ll, Matthew

Episode #30: Son of a Pastor
A conversation with Aaron Abke Evolution is a process which we are all undergoing constantly. Physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually – we are all constantly shifting and changing. This conversation is an exploration of the evolution undergone by a man who grew up the son of a Christian Pastor. In this episode Aaron shares with us his story of expansion. Using the Christian faith as a foundation Aaron has built and is building a personal ideology that allows for the collaboration and connection of beliefs and philosophies from many different traditions. I feel blessed to be able to share Aarons story. We live in a time in which the dogmatic ways of old feel less and less fitting to many of us. Aarons journey depicts a way in which to utilize the wisdom contained within aspects of the old traditions and to transmute them into new – more inclusive – ways of interacting with the subtle energies of the world. It’s a story which I feel can help many, many others to create freedom of expression and faith for themselves. You can find Aaron online @ youtube.com instagram.com

Exploring the Ineffable
A conversation with Jator Pierre This podcast episode was originally released on A Potential Podcast. Buckle up – this conversation goes DEEP! In this episode we explore the concepts of destiny, free-will, spirituality, and Beyond. The subjects of the conversation are topics that I believe to be critical discussion points as we move into this next era of Human Existence. That all said – it’s not the topics themselves that strike me as the most valuable components of this conversation. Rather it is the curiosity and willingness to explore that is exemplified within the discussion. The times we currently find ourselves in feel “charged” in so many ways – it feels more important than ever to remember to embody child-like curiosity and willingness to explore as we interact with ourselves, each other, and the world around us. I hope that you can listen to these words with an open mind and compassionate heart. I encourage you to allow yourself to feel the words – what do they bring up for you? How do you feel as listen? Are you willing to question why? Jator Pierre is a master-level Holistic Coach with credentials that include C.H.E.K. Faculty, Kresser Institute Mentor Coach, and much more. You can learn more about Jator and his coaching practice at www.wehlc.com. I’d love to hear from you – if you feel drawn to check in at the Infinite Paths FaceBook page!

Episode #28: Conversation Elevated
Part #2 with Luis Haro If you haven’t caught our first episode (here’s the link) I recommend listening to it before you dive into this one. In this episode we discuss the importance of Human connection and the incredibly heavy darkness that can overcome us when we don’t feel the deep connection so necessary to our well being. We both share about some of our darker moments and how we moved through them into a better space. Writing a synaptic expose on the depths of this conversation feels impossibly inadequate. This is the kind of conversation that I truly believe can heal us – individually and collectively we need the space to converse about our existential angst. I encourage you to listen and to feel what the conversation brings up for you. If you have a desire to connect with either Luis or myself please reach out through the links provided below. Episode #27: Elevate the Conversation
An interview with Luis Haro We live in an age in which the value of our connection to ourselves and those around us is becoming more and more obvious. Men like Luis are leading the charge on this journey into a more compassionate collective humanity. Luis is a man who facilitates connection professionally. He utilizes his career as a barber to connect with those that sit in his chair and to give them a place to be seen, heard, and appreciated. I cannot overstate the value of this connection. It can literally be lifesaving (there’s a story behind this comment – tune in to Episode #28 for part 2 of my conversation with Luis to hear it!). In this conversation Luis shares about his experience of becoming a teen father. We discuss his struggles with bullying and slander growing up and talks openly about childhood abuse. My respect for this man’s courage at opening the doors into his past to allow himself to heal is impossible to quantify in words. Luis – Brother – thank you for opening your heart, thank you for having the courage to allow your shadows to see the light of day. If you want to connect with Luis you can find him on Instagram @l.barberharo or head into Main Barber South in Half Moon Bay, CA for a Cut to rival all Cuts. Episode #24: What's Desired
A conversation with Pamela Wylie Sharing this episode is bittersweet. It is a piece of a beautiful conversation I had the privilege to hold with Pamela. The word piece here is used with intent – alas the majority of the conversation was lost due to technical malfunction or incompetence (I’ll forever wonder which). After conversing with Pamela recently we decided to release this episode as it stands – I do not regret this decision. The words you are about to listen to are filled with wisdom. They are words which I have listened to several times now and each time I listen I come out of them with new revelations. Pamela speaks with a degree of care and compassionate understanding I find to be rare and worthy of respectful attention. I invite you to listen carefully to her words – look for the truths held within them that relate to any and all experiential existence – I promise there is value in them. You can learn more about Pamela and what she’s up to by visiting her website at www.maycompassionprevail.com P.S. Following this conversation I was felt compelled to pursue a mentorship with Pamela which is now underway – stay tuned for more insights and knowledge from this Wise Woman! Episode #22: Brave, Strong, Cautious - Mother
A conversation with Bree Gwinner Bree is someone I would consider to be my Soul Sister. I use this term in all seriousness – to me it is not cliche. She is someone with whom I immediately felt a connection – it feels as if we have “always” known one another though we just met. Bree is a mother, a teacher, a healer, an author. She is someone who sees the value in authentic deep connection – she organizes much of her life around fostering such connection both with herself and those whom are willing to meet her in the depths. In this conversation Bree shares her story of transformation over the past year – a process which she describes as removing the masks. She tells us about the value she has found in stillness and how she has fostered a relationship with what she refers to as her “Inner Wise Woman.” Bree has wisdom to share. If you want more of it check out her website www.breegwinner.com where you can get information on her coaching offerings, her soon-to-be-available book, her social media feeds, and her newsletter*. *I highly encourage you to sign up for Bree’s newsletter. Her compassionate sharing of her story is beautiful to witness and holds within it deep potential for healing.* If you enjoyed this episode please take a moment to leave a 5* review wherever you listen and to share it with anyone whom you feel might find value in listening.

Episode #21: Embracing What Is
Gretchen is a mother of four boys and a life coach with 15+ years of experience. She is an individual whom I perceive to be deeply connected to herself and the world around her. In this conversation Gretchen shares some of the experiences that have created the woman she is today. She speaks candidly about her crisis of self after the birth of her 4th son. She tells the story of her own rebirth following that crisis with the help of her community. Gretchen also tells the story of traveling to Russia in the early 90’s where she and her husband spent a full year volunteering in orphanages as a means to learn the Russian language.
