Since I was old enough to work a walkman, record player, my dad's old 8 track player I've been immersed in music. My mom, often jokingly asks when am I going to give that music up and I just laugh and tell her never. It's a drug, an addiction, it's something that's woven into the fabric of who I am. Independent Everything: LIVE with Cleveland Unlimited Records Artist~Prynce Tone
I was born in Chicago Heights Illinois. When I was a child I was not sure what of where I wanted to be because honestly looking at my neighborhood i never thought I would live past 16. When I was young got into a lot of trouble with burglaries and gun play. Selling drugs came later on in life as well did gang banging. As a child I believed pretty much everything my older peers said so whatever I was instructed to do I handled and didn't question. I dropped out of high school and joined the local street organization and life began to take a big plight from there. I got into life threatening trouble and my mother decided to leave the city to give us a better chance at life. I didn't immediately leave. I stayed for a year longer and ended up getting into even more trouble. Eventually I got so tied into trouble that I forgot about the music. Before my grandmother passed, she told me to do what I was born to do. Giving the world me and reminding them of their greatness with a little work I knew would begin the process of healing that we all needed. I discovered that I had grown and no longer was blind to what really happened in those streets as a child. I wrote my debut single "Back To Mars" to represent the awakening processes I'm currently experiencing, realizing that we are all strangers in this world and if only we could accept this fact coming together would be easier. Instead of pointing out the obvious financial difference between us, I accept that fact and point out the agenda we all share responsibility in as an entire humanity. To bring the world together as a team and bring about the most beautiful work of art ever brought to the mind. This work of art is what I call TRUTH!!! I tell the stories of the project child that never had the innocent being imprisoned and the poor being left without. This is what I grew up like and I refuse to let history erase the struggle. We are one!!

Independent Everything: LIVE with C-Town Records Rap Artist ~ Tha MESSAGE
Tha MESSAGE is no stranger to struggle, born into a blue collar family with a long line of field and mill workers. His father a diesel mechanic, worked long hours and many different shifts to support his mother and him. His mother worked different jobs throughout the years but due to her bouts with Bi-polar, it was very difficult to hold down a job. Throughout his youth he moved many times, being forced to try to fit in, he was often teased about his weight among other thing such as his own struggle with being bi-polar and ADHD. His family eventually settled in Idaho. Tha MESSAGE began his love affair with music after his grandmother passed away. He started simply by writing poetry and then that transitioned into rhyme. Soon after having a string of conflicts with his principal and school staff he dropped out of school to pursue a career in music. Around that same time his family had lost their home, and he found out that his mother had secretly become a meth addict which further intensified the conflicts within his home life. Thus his music became even more important as his only form of release. After months of battling an addicition to the drug spice, he finally was able to quit the use of the drug during a trip to NYC to meet with his first major label, Shady Records owned by Eminem. He spent two days in his hotel room going through detox. Although he did not get a deal from this encounter with Shady Records he was offered insider advice on the industry and had his now current name Tha MESSAGE coined. After returning home and spending two more weeks in detox he began having nervous breakdowns, he became suicidal, and in deep depression but thanks to the support of his fiance, family, and friends he was able to pick himself back up and continue working on his passion.

Yani Williams is President & Founder of Real Nails Qweenz International On her journey she has met several inspirational and influential people that have help direct the current path that she is now on. Her intentions were never to grow her nails to extreme lengths however now they are part of her which makes it very hard to trim or cut them. Growing her nails to an extreme length became a passion and she sought out people that were like minded or shared her passion. She saw Lena Cole on various talk shows, but later met Lena through Herb Lasker, whom was a promoter and himself had a nail fetish. He introduced Yani to many of the Record Holders with long toenails as well as fingernails. This opened up a lot of new avenues for Yani in ways of public appearances. One of the goals that Yani has set for herself is to have a Reality show that would depict how “normal” women that have long nails truly are. There are so many stereotypes and stigmata even discrimination that is associated with women that have extreme length nails and Yani would like to see those barriers broken. To assist with her endeavor she started a The Real Nails Qweenz Iternational group in February 2015. The members are Lena Cole, Nicole Waters, Lateisha Hargett & Edith Graham. Each and every ladies nails are unique in their own way. The ladies in this group are mothers, wives, entrepreneurs, whom all grow nails to extreme lengths. To have a Reality show will open upa new platform that will help to address discrimination and bullying which are topics that Yani has experienced all to well and are very close to her heart. Yani is looking forward to working and establishing her group and making her mark not only in the entertainment field bul also society in how women with long nails a viewed.

Independent Everything: LIVE with Music Matters Filmmaker ~ Scott Kirby
PAYOLA. What is it? Why is it banned in the music industry? How does it affect the selections of music that you hear on your radio? These are just a few of the questions that will be answered. Special guest will be Scott Kirby, Director and writer of the documentary MUSIC MATTERS. He traces the decline of the industry to a U.S. bill passed in 1960 called the "Payola Act." The law made it illegal for record companies to pay radio stations to play their records, unless they disclosed the transaction on air. It was designed to level the playing field, so musicians and smaller record labels would have the same chance as bigger acts for airplay. But Kirby argues in his documentary that the real reason the Payola Act was passed was racism, and it was an attempt to keep black artists off the radio. If you are in radio or are a musician or music lover, tune in and find out how we can fix some of the issues that exist in the industry today that has artists suffering from poor sales and lack of exposure. As it stands now, the three major labels are nothing more than a cartel. Prices are fixed, playlists at radio stations are restricted, and the industry as a whole suffers. Call in and join the discussion as Scott lays out a plan of action to restore the industry back to the healthy, robust state it once enjoyed. In fact the first album he ever bought was a Taylor Swift CD. He didn't get into hip hop until he moved to Lake Charles, LA in high school..after listening to Lil Wayne's Carter 2 he fell in love with words and felt that he needed to relieve his mind by writing down the wordplay driven metaphors he thought of.....A few years later he connected with Delshun Mays while working in a local grocery store. After listening to Delshun's mixtape roc hard ep...he decided to put what he was writing down into music and co founded The B.A.R.S. Crew with him that same year. He started writing short stories as a kid ....after listening to keep your head up by Tupac he decided to start writing poetry. He suffered an immediate culture shock by the move. .that coupled with the death of a close family member, he went into a severe depression only writing peoms and listening to "Georgia" by Ray Charles. One day Jamaal got his hands on the Marshall Mathers Lp by Eminem and was very intrigued by the story telling word play Eminem used in his songs and decided to write his own raps.
