EP: 214 How to Shift Your State Instantly
This episode is about How to Shift Your State Instantly.  1:21 What it Means to Shift Your State I had the idea of the topic of shifting your state because I love shifting my state and I love helping people shift theirs.  I think when we understand who we are as a human being, and when we understand that we're the only ones thinking in our mind, like it's our thinker, and when we can think differently, we can create a completely different experience than what we're having. Nick 5:19 The Shift The reason this topic is important to me, I had done a year end virtual training called   It was a really fascinating experience because I realized how many people are seeking that.  They're having a certain amount of success or a certain amount of happiness, but they know the inner game is the most important.  So shifting the state is about like an ascension model. You don't just shift at once.  Every time you shift, you keep going up the spiral to a place that is more objective, more certain, more devoted, more confident, more abundant. All of it. So it's not like you're going in and out of a bad state and a good state. It's that you shift and you continue to rise.  KISMA 8:11 The First Step is Awareness I want to create a very simple formula that our listeners can do again and again that helps you to shift your state instantly. And as you shift it, you continue to ascend.  The first step is awareness.  We have to be aware of what we're experiencing or how we're feeling that we don't want to feel or experience. If we're not aware of it, we won't have that conscious choice to shift it. KISMA The awareness thing is kind of the big deal. I just want to highlight that for the listeners. There's an art to awareness.  Lots of times we're very aware of the wrong things. And it's really important to be able to step back and not even try to change it, but just to pay attention to what's going on in your head. Nick 13:13 Cord Cutting = Releasing There's an energetic piece called cord cutting that is helpful to insert.  KISMA Cord cutting is basically just about releasing. Energy connections happen. They typically happen around charged things which are often like the loudest things. They can be things that we are worried about. It can be people that are agitating to us. It can be people who are agitated with us. It can be conversations and stories that we're building around a certain situation or something like that.  All of those are basically energetic connections and you can actually disconnect that through cord cutting. Nick 17:27 The Attitude of Gratitude The final piece after you do that, is to take a breath and find something to be grateful for. This seals the deal of shifting your state.  KISMA The attitude of gratitude is a huge shifter for energy.  Nick 21:28 Recap Just to recap, step one is awareness. Just be aware.  Ask yourself the question, “Do I want to experience this?”  If the answer is yes, circle back around, maybe take a walk. If the answer is no, then cut the cords, cut the cords, cut the cords.  And finally, just breathe and think about something that you are so grateful for. It works every time. KISMA

EP: 213 How to Have a Bigger Future
This episode is about How to Have a Bigger Future. We talk about our Bigger Future Challenge, which you can join us for 3:00 A Clean Slate It's 2021 and this is our first recording this year.  I wanted to share with our listeners our different perspectives of how we close out a year and enter a new year.  KISMA I think this year it's a little bit different.  I like to think that every day is a clean slate. I like to think that every minute is a clean slate. But for me entering a new year, the way I was approaching it in December was very much like how do I go to bed in order to wake up and have a good day? And that's really through releasing anything during the day that didn't serve, cutting chords and falling asleep in gratitude, and setting in my subconscious what I wanted to manifest the next day. That's how I was sort of being more stealth about closing out the year and having so much gratitude for what worked, learning from any mistakes and just being released, released, released. Just complete healing and as much closing loops as I could so that I could slide into 2021. KISMA 5:58 A Time of Reflection and Assessing I was busy at the end of the year, but it was a reflective time for me. I assess the year and that forgiveness and closing loops.  Those are always huge practices for me during that time. It's to create a sense of organization, it's to look at what I can close up. What can I make sure that I don't drag with me into the new year?  And one of the loops I closed that was really exciting and opened at the same time was the sound healing. You can find the information about the next one at . Nick 11:14 Bigger Future So let's talk about this bigger future. KISMA Back in September we did a challenge called The Bigger Future Challenge. Right off the bat I knew we gotta do this again. And we thought, well, what better time than right after the new year. Nick For those of you that are listening now, I want you to just think about the bigger future. When I say those words, when we say those words, what does that mean to you?  This is not the future that somebody else's designing for you. This is not the future that you think is the only future you can have.   The bigger future is something around joy. It's something around connection, your relationships. It's definitely around money and abundance and it's your future. KISMA Bigger isn't necessarily bigger. But what it is is definitely more of the things that we want in our lives. It could certainly be something to do with your career, your work, your income, something like that. But it's also about relationships. And it's also about the energy and vibrancy that we share. EP: 212 The Getting Unstuck Series, Part 3
This episode is part three of The Getting Unstuck Series and today we are discussing the energy stuck. 1:13 Energy Stuff This is The Getting Unstuck Series.  We have talked about the in-between stuck and the mental stuck. This week is the energy stuck.  Now of course, Nick is an expert on energy healing, energy work, energy clearing, energy coaching, so he is going to tell us what it feels like to be in energy stuck. KISMA Energy stuck shows up in more subtle ways, but also really obvious ways.  People just don't think it's energy stuck. It'll show up as feeling tired. Like no matter how much you sleep, you feel tired. You get kind of stuck in that mode or not sleeping. So you're tired, but you lay down to sleep and then your mind is going. That’s energy stuff. But the biggest way that it really shows up is illness in the body. Nick 4:28 Breaking up the Energy I think when we talk about energetic stuckness that like the idea is to immediately go to some kind of energetic thing, but there is a little bit more of a process to that. So if you've got things showing up physically like fatigue, maybe it's headache patterns, weight gain, things like that, and you're like, why is this holding? You actually need to have physical movement in your life. Nick It breaks up the energy. KISMA That's right.  When it's stuck in the body, you really need to just move the body. Just move yourself around because it will shake that up and get you moving.  Nick 9:57 Connected with the Physical Body The other thing I see that happens when someone's energetically stuck is they stop breathing. I mean, not literally, but the breath becomes very shallow. It's just not present. KISMA It gets back to the physiology of it. That's a link that a lot of people miss with energy. They think that the energy is all out there or all in the chakras, but actually it needs to be connected with the physical body. And that's exactly what the breath does.  So we use that 6-3 pattern that is taught in And that breathing technique is incredibly beneficial because it gets the subtle energy channels moving as well.  So you move your body to get the body systems moving. You start to shake off and break up the energy in and around the body a little bit. And then the breathing helps to get those subtle energy channels moving.  Nick 14:41 Change the Energy Sometimes we have to change our surroundings to change the energy that we're in. Like you got to take yourself out of where you are, change the energy and go somewhere. And it kind of ignites your intuition and brings in more.  KISMA I'm glad you mentioned that because environmental stuff matters. Nick 17:42 Steps to See a Shift I mean these are the energetic things that most people don't just really don't think about, but are really important. The energy is actually what's controlling everything else. So use these tips to keep your environment clean, to keep your body moving and to keep your breath moving.  If you just do these things, you will definitely see a shift and then you can get more resources and take some other steps. EP: 211 The Getting Unstuck Series, Part 2
This is episode two in The Getting Unstuck Series and in this episode we're talking about the mental stuckness; what to do about it, and how to get out of it.  4:36 When We’re Mentally Stuck It's funny that we're talking about mental stuckness.  Because I know tech, but I'm not a techie tech per type of person. When it comes to all those little things and all the little boxes to check and the ways that the audio gets routed through a mic, to a board, into the computer and back out to somewhere else, there's all these little things and it is a process for me. And I got stuck in my head on this  more than a couple of times. Nick Let's talk about that. So mentally stuck, what does that feel like? How do we know when we're mentally stuck?  KISMA This is a great example. Because I had this idea of this thing that I wanted to do and I just couldn't figure out how to do it right, how to accomplish it. So when I would sit down to do it, I'd get lost down the rabbit holes.  Nick A little into that need to be right. It's this way. Not the other way. KISMA I'm sure the need to be right was present and that is a telltale sign.  Nick 6:29 The Need to be Right One of the ways you know you've got the mental stuckness is if you're digging your heels in and you have to be right. And when we have the need to be right, we're going to miss some things we're going to miss solutions. We're going to miss freedom. We're going to miss momentum because we've got to be right. And we only see it this way and it's really stuck. KISMA 7:37 Mental Movie What will happen in the mental stuckness is we humans will create an assumption, which then turns into this mental story. And a lot of times we assume something that we're not even sure is true, or we're in a situation and we can only see one aspect. Our perception of the situation spins and spins in a certain way. And it goes on more and more. That mental story is gaining life. It's gaining energy. And then we’ve got a mental movie that is playing in our head again and again. So we can't see any other way. The perception is stuck and if our perception will only allow us to see one way, we'll get stuck in that. KISMA 13:53 Getting Unstuck Let's move into the part where we give you some solutions to get unstuck mentally, because when you get unstuck mentally and you begin to think and send out thoughts with a different frequency, a different emotion, you're going to bring back something different.  So number one, the part of the way out is just saying, “Okay, I think there's something going on here. I'm spinning. I'm stuck. I see the pattern of my thoughts. I notice the pattern of my words coming after the thoughts.” You've got to acknowledge it and be willing to change it.  KISMA 20:10 We Don’t Have to be Stuck One of the big things that I'm taking away from this is that you can't think your way out of mental stuckness. You'll just spin the wheels.  The solutions that you're giving are actually really, really simple and less is more. And ultimately the energy is all a matter of your decisions. So being in the in-between is really where the journey starts.  Nick You know, we don't have to be stuck. We really don't. We can just flourish and thrive. And when we have each other to do so, it's so much easier. KISMA

EP: 210 The Getting Unstuck Series, Part 1
This episode is the first episode in our series called The Getting Unstuck Series. In this episode we're going to be talking about the in-between stuck. 2:28 Stuck Stuck: unable to move or set in a particular position, place or way of thinking. It's a frustrating feeling, a frustrating energy, and a frustrating mindset. KISMA It’s a frustrating circumstance all the way around. Nick It does not go well with creating success or prosperity. KISMA 6:28 The In-Between Being specific about where you're stuck is the number one step for getting unstuck. If you have an idea of what you want to have happen and an idea around where you're getting hung up, then you can have a much better conversation with yourself about getting unstuck. Which is what we want to talk about now and just kicking it off really with the dreaded in-between. Nick The in-between means you’re not in the past and you're also not creating or manifesting what you really want.  KISMA It’s an in-between dimension and essentially what the in-between is, is indecision.  Nick 14:47 Signs You are Stuck in the Middle I want to talk about a couple of signs that will show that you are stuck in the middle.  Number one is going to be energy fatigue and then with that will come a neglect of how you manage your life. You'll start doing things to exit your life and not pay attention because it's so uncomfortable being stuck in between. KISMA Also look for the areas where your decision-making in general gets kind of lazy. You want to look for where habitual patterns of not supporting yourself are starting to show up. Nick 17:31 Start with Changing One Thing So Nick, how do you coach people out of this? KISMA Well, it's actually more simple than you think. The first thing that I like to do with people is just get them out of their heads, like stop thinking so much about all this so that we can make a clearer path forward. And what is really effective is actually just choosing one area, even if it's a small thing that you really want to see movement around and just focus on that. Let that be the one thing that you're really diligent with. Nick So basically we're talking about changing something, starting with one thing and really dedicating yourself.  Once you get through a 48 hour period, things start to shift and you've got to focus on those things that do shift to give you the confidence to keep going.  KISMA

EP: 209 How To Shape Your Reality Part 4
In this episode we are continuing with our series How to Shape Your Reality. This is part four and we talk about how to align the head and the heart. 1:11 Rewriting The Script Last week we talked about rewriting your script. Nick If you've not listened to last week’s episode yet go back when you're done with this one and listen to it.  KISMA 3:02 Head and Heart Conflict Let's talk about that head and heart. What does it mean to not be in alignment with the head and the heart? KISMA Well, that's a good question. That is a very, very common experience that people experience all the time in so many different ways. A lot of times it's like, “Well, you know, my head wants this, but my heart wants this.” So the head and the heart have a conflict.Nick 4:00 Emotional Clarity And having emotional clarity is actually a really important part of getting them aligned. Emotional clarity is key when you deal with the heart. Nick Wow. That's a powerful use of two words, emotional clarity.  Emotional clarity is that discerning whether or not an emotion serves you and if it is in alignment with what you want. KISMA 8:14 The Mind So, talk about the head piece, the mind as most people think about it.  KISMA Objectivity is a part of the mind, the intellect. There's the intellect, the observer that gets to look at ourselves from a different perspective.And the mind makes decisions.  So the head's role is really to be the observer and to watch self, to hold you true to yourself.  Nick 12:08 The Unity of Head and Heart The unity of the head and the heart is basically getting those two on board to have the same conversation about what we're here to do and what you want your life to be.  And the beauty of the head and heart really being aligned is you get to take a truly intentional action.  Nick 19:09 For Our Listeners I would suggest for our listeners, start journaling on this. You could write what it would feel like if your head and heart were aligned and just describe it in the most beautiful ways of who you want to be and what you want to create. EP: 208 How To Shape Your Reality Part 3
In this episode we are continuing our series on How to Shape Your Reality, Part 3 by talking about how to rewrite your life script.  2:14 Smaller Things When you look at rewriting your life script, that's a big topic or big idea to begin with.  You don’t have to rewrite your whole life and change everything. Sometimes it's just certain areas or smaller things that you may be getting caught in the mundane or stuck in a certain way, a certain attitude, or something like that that you can rewrite. Nick I think you're onto something. Sometimes it's those small attitudes, those thoughts, or those beliefs that are stories running and creating a very strong mental thought flow. And before you know it, that's creating an attitude and a habit in a way of being that just keeps people in a karmic loop. KISMA 5:06 Rewriting The Scripts When you look at rewriting the scripts, it doesn't have to be just what. It can be how you go about something. Like, what's your attitude? What's your internal disposition towards things? It's a really powerful thing when you think about it. Nick I would like to look at rewriting the script that runs the attitude. I'm such a firm believer that when we rewrite the attitudes script, it means the actions that follow will have a new essence. It means the words coming out of our mouth are going to have a new essence. Everything following is going to be different because the attitude script is different. KISMA 15:04 Find The Solution Rewriting the script brings us back into finding the solution. If something has happened in your life, if you're feeling a certain way, if you're experiencing something you don't want to experience, the opposite of that exists. But you're going to have to do a little change of what the thought flow is, and the attitude and the perception in order to get from point A to B. KISMA Right and it's essentially deciding who and how you want to be.  Nick 17:23 The Absolute Key Some tips that you can start to implement right now is let go of what people think. Let go of caring about what people think. Let go of that. Life is too short. And if you want to embody your own authentic being, and script and life and purpose, it can't be tethered to what other people are thinking. You might need mentorship, coaching, or spiritual teaching, but the alignment of head and heart is really important. KISMA Yeah, it's absolutely key. And you can't have that if you don't have an idea about who you are on the inside without all of the labels and all of the things that we've adopted. Nick 18:33 A Script That Supports You What I suggest for our listeners, if there's something in your life that you're experiencing and you don't want to experience it, write it down. Next to it, write down the exact opposite of that feeling.  And in between is sort of this beautiful space where you can begin to look at what are the mental stories that you’re feeding into and regurgitating that feed into the negative aspect or the fatigue, the anxiety, etc. because that's the script that we want to purge. Then we want to rewrite a script that supports the way that you want to be, how you want to feel, who you want to be, and what you want to create in life. And make it as authentic as possible. KISMA

EP: 207 How to Shape Your Reality, Part 2
In this episode we are continuing with part two of How To Shape Your Reality.  1:40 Recap I do want to give a little recap from last week.  Basically we're breaking this down into four principles. Knowing, Heart, Action and Receptivity. The knowing and the heart work together. Knowing in your mind's eye what it is you want to create or who it is you want to be, and what it is you want to manifest. Now, we also talked about how that heart place is even deeper knowing. A knowing plus acceptance. And I bet you've all felt it right when there was something where you're like,”Yeah, I really want this”. And it just dropped in. And you knew that was the right thing for you. KISMA Yeah. That's such a powerful place. It's a real revelation. Nick 3:00 In Your Power Center It should truly just be full on, dropped in. But what happens is the conditioned mind gets in, the lower self takes over, the subconscious takes a hold, and before you know it, it's like a karmic loop. We're just spinning right there over and over and over again.  So this is about waking up. Waking up in a way that you are fully present to what you're doing and why you're doing it. And with this new level of consciousness or expanded awareness, everything will be okay because you're in your power center. You're there, you're fully present. It's when we fall asleep, when we go into the regrets of the past or the apprehension of the future that we lose our power and the world starts to shape us. KISMA 7:09 Somewhere You’re Resisting And in today's episode, we want to talk about action and receiving. I'm going to reverse engineer and just touch on receiving per The Universal Laws. If there's something that you desire and you don't have it, somewhere you're resisting. This is why being awake to the present moment is so important.  We really do have to look at where those subtle pings, voices, doubts, and worries are. Because in the last episode we talked about doubt that creates a resistance. It's not like you're putting your hand up in front of you, but energetically, you're putting an energy of undeserving or unworthy or can’t or doubt or whatever in front of you, which is resisting. KISMA One of the things that's really relevant here, I want to point out is that there will be solutions and steps right in front of you that you can't see because of the need to be right.  That's also a form of resistance. It's just a real sneaky one. Nick 8:49 Magnificent Action So the action piece, I like to use the term magnificent action, it's action that is designed to flow and to move you towards your greater desires and manifestations KISMA There's two layers of the action. One is just doing the things. You have to do the things. There are things to do, do the things. But the more subtle aspect that we're really talking about here is the attitude while you're in the action. That's the difference between forcing your way through and the magnificent action. Nick 16:32 Receptivity is a Big Deal Why don't you talk about receptivity?  KISMA Receptivity is a big deal.If you want more ease in your life, if you want things to flow better, if you want better health, if you want more energy, if you want to recover more quickly, if you want to be able to stay in your lane more easily, all these things are receptivity.In the context of shaping your reality, receptivity is about allowing yourself to have that right. It's truly being receptive to having what it is.  Nick 20:55 Do This For You What I'd like for everyone to do this week, as you're working on shaping your reality, is take note of where you received.  Do this for you. This is a really important time on the planet for you to anchor into your own personal universe, your own cosmos, your own dreams and desires. KISMA

EP: 206 How to Shape Your Reality, Part 1
In this episode we talk about How to Shape Your Reality. 2:48 Manifesting What we want to talk about today, and we might be talking about it more and more, is how to shape your reality, basically manifesting.  And I think I know where I want to kick this off.  If you're not shaping your reality, the outside reality is gonna shape you. KISMA I feel like this goes beyond manifesting as well. When I think about shaping your reality, that involves the flow of your life and the direction that it goes, your experience of the things.  And I'm excited to let the conversation unfold. Nick 4:20 Four Principles of Shaping Your Reality So we want to look at these four principles of shaping your reality. And we might dial in a few of them in this episode, but they are knowing, heart, action, and receptivity. KISMA Knowing Heart Action Receptivity  Nick 4:41 Knowing Your Desired Reality If we start with knowing, the way that I teach this is we have to know what it is we want, and this can get confusing for people because they don’t know their big vision. You don't have to have the big, big vision, but if you're going to shape your reality, start to decide, what is that desired reality? What is it that you want your life to be? If it's something specific in relationships, something in your career or business or your health, you have to know it, and really begin to see that in your vision.  KISMA 10:27  Acceptance of What Is And when I think about heart, that to me, it's a little hard to describe actually, but it's not necessarily an emotional thing. It's when I'm really dropped into myself and choosing what's right for me. There's an inner sort of quietude around it or just an ease of like, “Oh, that's the thing. Oh, that's it. That's right for me. I know that's right for me. I can move in that direction”.  It's an inner peace that just says yes and it's so clear. Nick Yeah. I think it's an acceptance of what it is.  It's very much that inner knowing will come when we are in more belief of what it is we want. Belief in ourselves and belief in the Universe, in Spirit and Source that will provide it when we stay on that path. KISMA 13:43 Charged With Emotion The other thing that needs to happen for this piece of knowing and heart is, I think when you come upon something you want and it's charged with emotion, is being aware that it goes both ways.  If someone charges their desire with fear, they're going into the upside down affirmation, the negative affirmation, and that thought's going to be charged. When they charge it with gratitude, belief, and acceptance, it is also powerful.  It begins to mold out into this Universal Intelligence Space. KISMA 14:37 Present In The Knowing But the things we need to avoid are regret of the past and apprehension of the future.  Being right here, present in the knowing, dropped into heart and putting the emotion of gratitude for it, it's already existing. If we think about it, it's already existing. So it's staying in belief and dropped in. KISMA That allows the action to unfold which is the third step. Nick Yes, there's going to be action. Yes, there's going to be receptivity. And we'll talk about that in the next episode, but right here and now, everything begins with a thought. What we're dialing in here is how much in the knowing of what it is you want to attract, that you can see it, that you can feel it, that you can accept it and then be in this present moment and the next present moment so that you're in this space, you're in this Universal Substance ready to allow this thing to take shape. KISMA 20:38 Just Be Present Just be present if nothing else. This very exercise will elevate your vibe. It'll raise your frequency.  And then in the next episode, we'll talk more about the action and the receptivity to really bring these dreams into a reality for you. KISMA

EP: 205 Cosmic Peace
This episode is about Cosmic Peace. 1:33 Elevating Ourselves Last week our episode was about how to anchor the peace within, it was practical application about choosing to turn the noise down, choosing to not get into arguments, and more.  Today we're going to raise it up into more of the cosmic nature.  So when we think about what happens to our human in the world, you know, we've got the physical, we've got our body, we've got our brain firing in so many ways. We've got our emotions, our heart going off. We've got actions that we take, or we don't take.  And somewhere we start to get really embedded in the physical world, in the day to day, and what is often referred to in the spiritual teachings as the mundane. And once we're stuck in the mundane, it's actually difficult to find peace because the cosmic peace is when we're able to be in the world, do what we're here to do, but elevate ourselves out of what is often referred to as the pairs of opposites. KISMA Cosmic peace is something very different by nature.  Nick 3:40 You  Have To See What Isn’t Working To have cosmic peace, to have peace in anything, we need a certain amount of strength, meaning a strength of intellect. We need to be resolved in our will to choose this.  So when you're able to look at your weaknesses, and do so lovingly that's when the strength follows, the strength will not come if the weaknesses are not observed and made aware of first. You have to see what isn't working guys. You have to notice in yourself what isn't serving you and be willing to say “I'm sliding that over so that I can slide something in”.  KISMA The awareness of what's not working is the first step to cosmic peace. Nick 6:05 Wake Up Tp The Games You Are Playing To be aware and to be willing to examine is a great exercise. Because until you can see and observe yourself in what things are doing to your energetic field, to your mindset, to your body, you won't be inspired to change it.  KISMA So basically, wake up to the games that you're playing. Nick Wake up to the games you're playing into the habitual responses and reactions. Because so often when we do react a certain way, when we have the sense of negativity or the trigger or the tip or whatever you want to call it, it has become habitual. It's just like something gets triggered. And that's what you do. It's what you know that you do. It's where your subconscious mind tries to take you. You've got to see it. You've got to know that it is part of yourself in this 3D world in order to elevate yourself into the spiritual world, because it's a spiritual mindset. Spirituality is an attitude. And to have that attitude, we've got to slide out the things that are affecting us. KISMA 8:39 True Peace To me, a true spiritual essence, and ability to have cosmic peace is to be able to govern yourself as you are at any moment in any time. So if you need something to be able to find peace, it isn't a true peace that you have access to, in my humble opinion.  The cosmic peace is being able to understand who you really are, which is this Self, it's to understand that the Universal substance is running through you and it's around you. The God spark is in you. All of that exists. You don't need a drug or a fast breathing process or whatever to bring it out. It exists. It's the awareness. And it's the capacity that allows you a greater feeling of connection because you're not disconnected.  The cosmic peace is finding and realizing that first, at least having that sense of “Whoa, maybe it is there. Maybe it is all inside. And I just need to move the external stuff, not rely on the external stuff, rise above these pairs of opposites of the world and go within and find it there.” KISMA Something that you do that I think maybe a lot of people don't, or don't understand that you do is you have built the energetic capacity to have that and to hold that. And this is a really important part of the path. Your energy matters. You know, if you think about yourself as a container and you want to have this cosmic peace, well, certainly that's not going to happen when you're being pushed and pulled by the world.  Nick 12:42 Everything You Need Resides Within You I still come back to seeking the path and having the awareness that there is an existence within you.  Everyone, just pause and understand that everything you need resides within you to have success or failure. KISMA 20:28 Essence Of Calm And Certainty Start by being willing to observe yourself, avoid judging yourself when you observe, but just notice where you go into tipping points, where you get triggered, where those weaknesses start brewing. And  then embody and receive this essence of calm and certainty that is coming from a way higher spiritual being than you could ever imagine. Just start there, with the awareness and trying to move that heavy stuff out of the way and embodying the higher. And you'll be surprised how, as you repeat it, it becomes easier and easier, better and better. KISMA

Nick There is a lot going on, and that's why we wanted to talk about anchoring the peace within. We felt it was really important to find ways to bring your peace and anchor it because there is so much noise in the world, there is a lot of negativity, fear, and heaviness being thrown at us from many different directions.  KISMA 05:55 Present To The Universe What I've seen is that when there are events such as this pandemic, elections, where the country is seemingly very divided, the media plays on that, and there's so much negativity and manipulation from the media that if one isn't careful, it's going to go right into your energetic field, right into your subconscious.  We have to be present to The Universe in order to say, “Wait a minute, I'm not taking that on.” You have to consciously say, “I'm not taking on that negativity.” KISMA It's a really foreign thought for people to consider that you could live outside of that in a way, but you actually can.  Nick 09:50 Turn Down The Noise So what we're talking about here is the decision to go back to the basics and take care of yourself.  KISMA I think what you're really talking about is that's how you turn down the noise. Nick Yeah. You turn down the noise by just saying, “I don't want the noise. I'm going to choose to not take on any more noise. In fact, I'm going to look at all the noise that I'm allowing in right now and I'm going to decide where I'm going to turn that dial way down.”  And the dial might be on the TV. It might be on the radio. It might be on social media, your computer. The dial might be somebody you work with, or your friends who maybe have the same ideology as you, but they're just really negative about it right now. Protecting yourself, your mind, your heart, and your soul is the most important thing for you to anchor that peace within. KISMA Take a deep breath and just consider for yourself for a moment, where that noise is creeping in for you. Nick 12:55 Steps To Turn Down The Noise Let's go through a couple of steps that you can do every single day to turn those dials down.  Number one is going to be the choice that you come first and this is going to be tricky for a lot of you, but decide that you come first and decide that you're going to turn the noise down.  And secondly, decide that you're not going to have any guilt around it because that guilt thing will just replace the noise. KISMA You get to decide that for yourself. That's why we're talking about anchoring the piece and turning down the noise. It has to be turned down so that you can get your feet on the ground.  Nick 15:20 Deciding to Stay Steady Nick, give us an energetic key how to keep that steady once the choice is made to turn the dial down. KISMA It's deciding to stay in something positive and  proactive for yourself. KISMA 5:03 What Is Going On In The Inside This episode is an interesting one and that is for you to ponder that in some way, if there's chaos in your life, you've created it. You attracted it.  This is not a good, bad, right, or wrong thing. If you have chaos in your life, or it comes and it goes, this does not mean you're a bad person, but I want to share something from a beautiful teaching. It's by Earl Nightingale, who's one of the founders of personal growth. And he's the author of a book called The Strangest Secret and he put it very simply, “What is going on in the inside shows on the outside”.  KISMA 6:30 Watch Your World Change I'd like to encourage everybody to look at this more on a personal scale to start.  When you look at it in a personal context, you'll really understand how to start to solve it in yourself. And then you'll get to watch your world change in really amazing ways.  Nick And it takes a great amount of courage and vulnerability and trust to work with the Universal Laws and Spirit, Source, God and to be like, “Okay, I'm going to examine what is the benefit, what’s the little reward that I might get when I create chaos in my life?” KISMA When you ask something like that, or like, “What am I actually getting from this?”  Then you have a much more clear path to your motivation behind creating it, and you can decide differently.  Nick 12:19 You Get To Decide Differently Going back to the very first episode, it's a choice. It's a choice to have chaos in your life. And it's being used for a reason and everybody's got their own different nuances to the reasons. But knowing yours is extremely valuable because then you get to decide differently. EP 202: Moving from Chaos to Calm, Part 2
In this week’s episode we're continuing the series, Moving from Chaos to Calm. And today we’re focusing on what's going on inside you. 2:17 The World Is A Mirror If you want to create calm, we have to look at what's going on inside of you. You've probably heard the teaching of the world is a mirror of what's going on inside. You work on your internal and the external does recreate. When we're willing to examine, to be present, and ask “Okay, what the heck is happening inside of me that I can alter, that I can change, that I can amplify or not amplify to change. What's going on around me?”, you're in control. KISMA 4:09 Choosing For Yourself We're going to talk about what are often referred to as the three R’s; how you receive something, how you react and then how you respond.  There's so much information around you all the time. There's a lot coming at us. It's  all not bad. It's just stuff.  So when we look at how we are receiving things- how do we receive things from the news? How do we receive something from our partner or a client or our children? In what ways is it coming in? KISMA It's coming in through all of your senses. It's what you see. It's what you hear. It's the energy that you experience, and all of these different things.  So there is a decision of what and who we surround ourselves with. What is the quality of the people? Are they bright, shiny, sparkling people who are really motivated to go do amazing things in the world? Or are they people who are very committed to being stuck in problems? What do you choose to surround yourself with?  Nick 7:00 Internal Reaction It’s important that to the best of your ability, you're choosing the highest for yourself. It makes a world of difference. Nick It really does because there's an internal reaction that happens after you receive the information. And that internal reaction is going to be part of what you take on and how thick, heavy, joyful, or wonderful it is. KISMA 9:10 Continues To Create Calm The whole point of noticing what the reaction going on internally is when you receive and how to guide those emotions that might be lower vibe to a higher emotional state is so that when you reach the third R, which is respond, you're responding in a way that continues to create calm, or at least isn't triggered and doesn't blow things up.  The key is that when information comes in, and the reaction internally is like, “Oh, this doesn't feel good.”, you take a moment. You notice it. Then you use your intellect, so that your response is on par with what you want to have happen down the road.  KISMA 13:09 There Is A Point To Let Go I want to talk about a really important aspect of each one of these. There is a point to let go, and this is key.  In the receiving part, there's a let go about what you can influence in your environment at that given moment. This week’s episode is Part 1 of a series called Moving from Chaos to Calm. Today’s episode is really about understanding, embodying, and trusting that you have what it takes to create calm. 1:13 Podcasting From Home It's a big day. We're podcasting from home. KISMA It's exciting. We have some new equipment and it's really nice to be able to sit down in this kind of comfort and record.  Nick I mean it was fun to be able to record from Common Grounds. You know, that's where my office was for the last three or four years, and we've recorded so many podcasts from there. And then the quarantine hit, the place just became quiet, and well, we'll talk a little bit about how the whole house manifestation came. I tried to fight it a little bit but then we moved to a place that is big enough to have both of our businesses and our life. And here we are recording in your office. KISMA 6:40 The Calm In The Manifestation Since we're talking about calm and not having chaos, the way that I utilized rather than getting agitated, is why I really believe this place showed up. I just kept saying, “Okay, Universe, God, Spirit, Source, as good or better. If this isn't our place, as good or better. And thank you.” And I just leaned out of it. No worry, no anxiety. As good or better, let's go.  So that's the calm in the manifestation. It's a trust, it's an expectancy, it's an ‘as good or better’. And of course, following through and doing the work. KISMA 7:42 Expect It To Be So And Stay Calm I think that's one of the things that I see most, and certainly a trap that I've gotten into and have to be mindful of for myself, is when you want to manifest something bigger in your life, there's a lot involved, and we can start to really go overboard on that. A lot of people get into a forcing kind of willful state of the chaos when they want to manifest something.  Nick  There’s this great teaching of take what is yours in life. Don’t take from other people, everyone, but take what is yours and expect it to be so.  It's really interesting, like you said, drop in life and stay calm. Stay out of the chaos and allow what it is we want to show up. KISMA Yeah, the allowance is kind of a big deal. Nick 9:57 You Have What It Takes To Create Calm When I look at this, it's a big thing to move in. It's such a great example and a great teaching to see that it's actually possible to have calm inside of yourself no matter what the external circumstances. Nick  Absolutely. It is about understanding, embodying, and trusting that you have what it takes to create calm. You have it in the equipment of being a human being. It's that first step of the confidence that you can actually create it.  KISMA 13:09 Brings You Into Calm And this is not to say that the world stops being chaotic. It's that your perception and your ability to handle it brings you into calm. KISMA 17:37 Calm Is A Choice I would say for me, the most important thing for people to remember is that calm is a choice. It's not a magical thing that just suddenly happens. It's a choice that you get to make, whenever you decide to make it. Calm is for you if you decide it's for you. EP 200: Know Your Supply
This week’s episode is called Know Your Supply.02:54 Remember Your Supply I grabbed the title, Know Your Supply, because I'm always working with my students and clients about how everything comes from the same supply, the same Source. We have access to all that is.  I follow Deepak Chopra on Instagram. I've never done his trainings or courses, but I think he's so cute. He just speaks wisdom at the right time. And it was the beginning of the Corona virus, and I was checking his profile because I wondered what he was saying about it. And his post was so simple. It said “remember your supply”. Like, yes, we have to remember. We have to know our supply. KISMA 03:46 We Have To Know A lot of people think if they could find the right man or the right woman they would be happy. Or if they lose 10 pounds, they'll be happy. Now all of these things bring joy to our lives, but they don't create internal happiness. Whenever I teach sales, I talk about this. Money comes from the same place as everything else. It comes from Universe, Source, God, Spirit, whatever your word is, it comes from there. It comes through people, but it does not come from people. Everything comes from the same supply. We have to know our supply and we better be speaking to the supply and be grateful. KISMA This is an important kind of remembrance and a re-centering. Nick05:58 Allowing It Into Your Life If you recognize that nothing actually comes from those people, it comes through those people, you never have to feel like you're taking something from someone. So whatever that thing is, service, love, money, it just comes through those people and you’re allowing it into your life.  This was one of the big revelations for myself that took so much pressure off of the way that I interact with the world. I stopped asking things of people and started to ask for things from that higher source.  You just have to be clear and intentional about what you want, what you're creating, and then allow those things to come into your life.  Nick 06:53 Demand What Is Yours Demand what is yours and allow it. Demand is not a bad word.  It's just like “Alright, Universe. I demand what is mine. And I'm going to receive it.” So it’s the spiritual demand. And it creates a partnership with Source to bring in what it is you desire. KISMA 08:58 Stay Receptive So I only ask Source, Universe, God, and then I stay receptive.  We have to stay very present and also flexible in our own way so that we can allow and receive. KISMA Receiving or actually having is probably one of the most powerful things that I think anybody can ever work on. Nick 17:42 Give Gratitude So know your supply, everyone. Remember your supply. Talk to your supply and give gratitude to your supply.  KISMA

EP: 199 - Abundance Disruptors- Things People Do to Mess Up Their Love, Money, and Happiness
In this week’s episode we talk about Abundance Disruptors- Things People Do to Mess Up Their Love, Money and Happiness 1:34 Boil Things Down Sometimes we need a little pep talk. KISMA Yeah, you need a little pep talk every once in a while. We're so busy and our heads get cluttered up with so many things.  So when you can boil things down to very simple steps that can reset you, it's so powerful.  Nick So if you haven’t listened to Episode 198 yet, listen to it. It's all about deciding what kind of day you're going to have.  In today’s episode we're going to look at where you might disrupt that. KISMA 2:17  Understanding and Getting Back In Flow This is a bit of a companion episode and I call it abundance disruptors.  Sometimes I refer to these with my clients and students as manifestation disruptors. Because here's the deal, the manifestation one on one is you are always manifesting. If you follow me or Nick or you've done any sort of law of attraction work before, you know that we can get very purposeful and set our vision, our goals, our ideals and do all these things. Then, very quickly and easily, humans disrupt those.  We want to understand where we disrupt it, and then what to do to get back in flow. KISMA 3:14  Doubt Is The Big Disrupter It's really about finding your frequency where you're as receptive and as clear as possible. So it's sort of like that sweet spot of your frequency of your vibe. What can happen with the disruptors is we get excited as humans about all kinds of things, and then very quickly, what will come into the mind is, “Oh my gosh, but how am I going to do that? Is it going to work? What if it doesn't work? How am I going to feel? What are people going to think of me if I actually do get this great thing or I build my business to a certain level?”, there are all these little voices of doubt that come in and disrupt your abundance.  KISMA It starts with doubt. Nick Doubt is the big disrupter. And here's what's important, that doubt, those voices that you hear, I like to think of them as these voices on either side of you where you can just tell them “No, stop,  not right now. Go away. I'm not listening to you”. You have the ability to come into an abundant lens, a clean and clear lens, and re-decide and choose what you're going to believe. KISMA 5:12  Our Perception and Expectations Become Disruptors Yeah and I feel like a big place where people get off is the meaning that they place on things.  Nick What do you mean by that? KISMA We go into our day, and we have an idea about what we think it's supposed to be in order to be productive, or we have a goal and we have an idea about the things that are supposed to happen that indicates success. And, inevitably, something is different. So we take that very narrow scope of what we thought was success or what we wanted or the way it was supposed to be and then we make everything outside of that wrong, bad, or a failure. So it's our perception of whatever those things are that actually becomes one of the disruptors, which like you said, leads right back into the doubt and thinking you must have done something wrong. Nick 6:12  Field of Abundance Another big disrupter for your abundance is resentment and jealousy. “Well, it worked for them, but it never works for me”, and then there's anger.  All of these things tear into your field of abundance as if they were these knives and they rip  into your wealth container. KISMA 8:50  Deciding to Reset So there's a couple of things that I wanted to share. During the day, when you find that you're allowing these disruptors to come in and put down your vibe, diminish your dreams, etc. What can you do that lifts yourself up? What's the reset?  There is a way again, deciding to reset. Get back in alignment with your vision and your choice and stay there. KISMA It's right there, we just have to make the choice to do it. Nick 15:06  The Solution What we want to do is build awareness and build the presence, and stay in your own lane. If we're staying in our own lane, and we're holding our thoughts and our feelings and our actions towards our vision, we're going to get a lot done. KISMA This is a much more elegant way and much more ease filled way of dealing with those kinds of things. And, this is the illuminated thought for the day, the solution never lies in the emotion. And the reason we're talking about decisions is if you've been listening to us or following either of us, you know that we talk a lot about energy, the power of thoughts, the power of energy and the ultimate power of choice. And you know I say, we're always manifesting. And when people understand that they're like, “Oh, I better think about what I'm putting out there”.KISMAThe thing that a lot of people miss is it really does all come down to your decisions.Nick03:56 You Get To Choose And if you don't change your decisions, you'll always wind up creating the same energy. Like it's not just about mindset. It is truly about decisions on a moment to moment basis, the choice that we make and the thing that most people don't think is actually a choice is your emotions. You actually get to choose your emotions.Nick06:23 Three Simple Decisions So I think this idea that you had about this podcast, these three decisions, is brilliant because it gives us a chance to really examine what are three simple decisions that can be made that will shift everything?Nick The reason I thought we could focus on decisions is because as we know, where your thoughts go, your energy goes. And what you're focusing on will increase as per the universe. This is a law. KISMA 07:52 Decide: You Are Worth It So the first decision that I thought was very important is to decide: YOU ARE WORTH IT.It's a big one because whenever there is a lack of worthiness in a human being, they will choose to align their feelings with a lack of worthiness. They'll manifest things in their life that add on to the lack of worthiness, but so much changes when you understand that you're worthy just because you're a divine human being.  When someone decides to accept that, it's like a new breath of life.KISMA It changes everything. Nick11:03 The Attitude You Want Decision number two is to decide: the attitude you want TODAY.  What is the authentic attitude that you want to hold throughout the day that's going to energize you, that's going to allow you to be in flow, that is going to give you focus and sustainability? KISMA16:30 Pause And Reset Decision number three is so important. Make the decision at the beginning of the day that you'll PAUSE AND RESET when necessary.  We've got to do this as human beings, especially because it's a noisy world. It's a busy world. There's a lot going on. There's a lot coming at us. If we don't pause and reset it can be like that spiral down. And when we pause and reset, you get to choose your attitude again.  KISMA It's never too late to do that. Nick19:16 Everything Is Your Decision To Make So the illuminated thought for the day is that everything comes down to your decisions. Nick I think it's an interesting thing that happens. I hear it a lot with new clients or new students coming in.  And you know, it's also tied into that series we did on . The upper limiters and things. When we humans aspire, desire, want something to be greater, better in our lives, or we want to be better and greater in our lives and then boom, before you know it we've just created a bunch of distraction and sabotage it and I hear that language a lot. KISMA The language of self sabotageNick It's an interesting term and an interesting thing that we humans do.KISMA 2:18 We Stop, We Will Self-Sabotage  Why do people get stuck into these patterns of self sabotage?Nick What I see that happens a lot is there's an internal conflict, or there's a false means of protecting. So for instance, the protection piece can be really interesting. Let's just talk about money because self sabotage comes up a lot around money, around building a business or advancing in a job. And we know that there are going to be these tethers to parents and grandparents in the way we grew up. Specifically, wrapped around our money stories, and also just the thought of, “Well, if I make a lot of money, then what are people going to think?” So as they go to build a business or make more money or have a new money goal, there's that tethered to “Well If I go above this limit, or if I make too much money, will I still have the love of my family? What will people think of me? Will I be the person?” and this is all, floating around in the subconscious.  And so what happens is we want to protect the love that we know, the perceived love that we know. And we stop, we'll self sabotage.KISMA 4:28 Chaos in the Field I think that it’s important to highlight that it doesn't happen on a conscious level so often.Nick  This self sabotage can show up in ways that we might not even realize: getting distracted, getting sick, creating disease in our body, catching a cold, having an accident, dropping something, breaking a toe, all of these things will show up because there's chaos in the field.  Self sabotage will show up as a conflict internally and then represent a conflict externally.KISMA7:05 Sabotage Showing up in Relationships You know it can show up in relationships, or if one is seeking a relationship and somebody comes into your life, you're like, “Oh, this is new, this could be amazing”. But it might look different than the relationship that you witnessed in a family or perhaps, it's saying there is a bigger part of your own connection and vulnerability that must be expressed and that can feel scary, that can have a little internal conflict. So you might pick a fight. You might dismiss the person. Something comes up where it creates a sabotage of the relationship. KISMA It sabotages intimacy. Nick11:07 Aware and Present Our advantage really does lie in our ability to be aware and to be present. KISMA What do people look for to be aware of?Nick If you find yourself not getting the result that you want, or if you set a goal or an intention, and you're getting sidetracked and distracted and disrupted, you've got to ask yourself  a question because when our brain gets asked a question, it will usually pause. And those questions can be like, “Alright, why would I do that? Why am I stopping? Why am I allowing that distraction?” Or it's just a simple question, “Why would I do that?” And you'll hear something, you'll know something about why you're doing it. We've got to ask why without making it wrong. KISMA You said something really important. Not making it wrong. None of this is about being perfect. It's really just about paying closer attention, being more aware and catching yourself before you really get off track. Nick20:03 Taking Action So just to kind of summarize what's happening with self sabotage is somewhere inside, there's a conflict of either values or a place where we humans might have a fear of losing love or connection or what people are gonna think and all of these things.  Your go to is the awareness of where you slow down, where you stop and ask yourself these questions. “Why am I stopping? What am I worried about? What am I afraid of?, or what's in front of me that maybe I don't really want to do or receive?” and then dialing it back to the very thing that you do want, energizing it with that sole purpose, belief and energy and then take action because action as well will help you get through and beyond those moments of self sabotage.KISMA 22:43 It’s Okay to be Human So the illuminated thought for the day is it's okay for you to be human.  Nick I'm going to add on to that. Nick, what do you mean in particular when you say listen to the energy?KISMA It really means to sense or perceive it in your own way, and to be more attuned to it.Nick1:43 Energy Always Comes FirstSo talk a little bit about why it's important to listen to your energy, to know it, to understand it.KISMA Energy is what always comes first. We have ideas and all these different things. But behind and preceding any one of those things is energy comes first. And when you are more attuned to that, more keenly aware of it, you can go straight to the heart of the matter and not get all twisted up in your mind or in your emotions or confused or overwhelmed with ideas, or stuck for ideas. You can get beyond all of those things way more quickly when you just deal with the energy.Nick5:39  Pay Attention To ItEverything's already energy. It's not a new thing. So you've already been dealing with this and working with it and working within it your whole life.  So when it comes to really tuning into it, it's kind of tuning into your nuance of it or your conversation of it and making sure that you're paying attention to it. The biggest thing is we just don't pay attention. And all it takes is a few minutes of going unconscious, and then you're down the rabbit hole with something. But when you pay attention to it, you can be more attuned to it. Nick6:23 The Energy Never LiesThe other benefit of this that I think is super, super important is that the energy never lies.Nick That's a really good one. KISMA The energy will always tell the truth. So I imagine if you feel the energy of anger, you're going to feel the energy of joy. You're going to feel the energy of love, of abundance. It doesn't take very long to grab a little note pad, sit down, take a few deep breaths to just quiet yourself, center yourself, and then go through some of the emotions that you experience on a regular basis.  What does frustration feel like?  What does it feel like when you're really stubborn and stuck in an idea?  What does it feel like when you're criticizing someone?  What does it feel like when you're super joyful?  What does it feel like when you're totally at peace and completely content?  What you're really doing is kind of taking a mental snapshot of that feeling tone. EP: 195 - Making Peace
Today’s episode is all about Making Peace and where making peace matters most. 01:14 How Do We Begin to Make Peace? We are recording this in 2020. It's been a wild ride so far this year, which is why I really think this topic is important. You know, we’re talking about making peace and making peace where it matters first.Nick I know that’s something you and I have been talking about a lot, so many tragedies and so many beautiful awarenesses during this time, but what matters most? Where do we start? How do we begin to make peace? KISMA01:41 An Inner Quietude The outside is a reflection of the inside. And the peace that we create in ourselves is what we get to take out to do our work. So the reason I think this is so important is because it's not about peace, just so that you can be happy and bliss out. It's about an inner quietude. And from that place is where you have real power to live your life and create what you want with your life. Nick 03:37 Emotions and Knowing Making peace where it matters most really comes from the two things that I always hear about. Which is, “Well, my head is saying this and my heart is saying this”, and there is a battle going on inside between those two. And when we talk about heart here, we're not talking about emotion, we're talking about knowing. Nick Describe the difference between the emotions and the knowing and the heart center. KISMA Emotions in the fields are beautiful human things. There's so many.  2020 has been an amazing study in human emotion and response to stress. And there's nothing wrong with that at all.  But when we talk about the heart, like the heart of it, it's actually that deep sense of knowing inside of you. You could call it a calling or a whisper. It's kind of like a conscience, but not exactly, the intuition, sort of because intuition guides you in that direction. But the heart is the heart. It's that place where you drop into that inner sense of knowing. “I'm exactly where I need to be, doing exactly what I need to be doing. I'm ready to take my next step”. Nick06:13 The Mind When you say the mind, are you talking about the subconscious mind? KISMA It would include the conscious and the subconscious mind. The subconscious is like the puppeteer, it's pulling the strings. And then the conscious mind makes decisions based on that to justify and to reinforce what the subconscious mind is telling it. Nick Until the conscious mind becomes clear enough to tell the subconscious what to do. KISMA09:49 Tired of Living in Chaos? So the mind creates some chaos. It takes us out of the knowing of the heart and we keep searching and searching and it's all right there in front of us and we're not seeing it. KISMA Yes and at a certain point you just have to decide, you know, “I'm tired of living like this, and I think I'd like to try something different.”And it's not like you make that decision and poof it's done. It's a skill, it's a new way of thinking. You have to spend a little bit of time to get in the groove of it and start to experience it.  Nick18:12 Stop Fighting With Yourself Just stop fighting with yourself, first and foremost.
