Motivating Yourself: Strategy 1 of 5
This episode and the next 4 are me revealing the different methods (some of them secret until now) about how I motivate myself to take on the day or the next task(s). Strategies 3 and 4 are my favorite ones, but for this episode and the next, I'm just going to get the boring ones out of the way first, lol. #business #musicbusiness See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

My Sister's New Business
Just to clarify -- it's not that I wouldn't be proud of my sister had she not started her own business, BUT I've recognized her leadership qualities from a young age, and have consistently witnessed her battle authority and lose job after job after job because of the bullshit toxic management practices that have become ever so common in my hometown's workplace economy. Ever since starting, she's proving to be more effective taking this route than acquiring another job. If you love me, show her some love by sending her a DM @VisionaryEventPlanning congratulating her on starting her new business! See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

How To Fix Writer's Block
99% of history is forgotten in the first 90 seconds. The mind is a POWERFUL place, it can make a heaven out of hell, a hell out of heaven, can make you perceive things that don't exist, and worst of all---- forget things that once existed. IDEAS are not immune to this rule. Chances are, you feel like you've only come up with (X) amount of ideas, when in reality you came up with (X+99)ideas/year and can only remember one. In this episode is my personal preventative method on preventing writer's block, as well as my strategy for coming out of writer's block after it's too late. This technique can be used across all industries, including (but not limited to) marketing, tech, and creative. #WritersBlock See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

Update Before Bed
It's almost 6am and here I am, having finished 20+ 5-second animations in one night and now recording my third podcast TODAY. What is going on with me?? I love it, but still! This level of productivity feels so surreal..... it was something I've always wished for.... and now I seem to have it. Thanks a ton, Mark Cuban! You Have No Choice
This episode includes a preview of my favorite song that I recorded last year, plus an inspiring story of how I used the idea of "suffering" to my advantage when all odds were against me at one of the lowest points of my life. You have to fail over and over and over again to get to where you wanna get. The difference between employers and employees is that employees rest (in regards to encountering failure) after they've gotten the job-- entrepreneurs still have to deal with a much higher amount of failure on a regular basis. Either way, you're still going to have to fail to get there. It may not always feel like failure, or it might. But failing is inevitable. Period. And no matter what low point you reach, you're responsible for getting yourself to the next step. See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

How I got 37 Million Views on one video
I absolutely love conversing with my little sis @missdiangelo in general, but in this particular one, she brought up a question I get asked often: how did I promote my Youtube videos when I started out? It's not a fucking secret -- it took me 192 hours of sharing, sharing, sharing. Period. It wasn't a shortcut, it was work. And even after that video went viral with millions of views, I was still inable to make a living off of Youtube alone for another year or so. Work is real. Follow her on IG and thank her for helping me give you another episode of great content. See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

Starting a Youtube Channel - Tips
My friend Harley consults with me about starting his new YouTube Channel. I can not stress this enough guys, that with the advancement of microtechnology and higher quality equipment at significantly lower prices than 20 years ago, the audiovisual market is very saturated and very competitive. Creating an outstanding video or having great talent is NOT good enough anymore--- it's all about promotion. You have to spend many more hours getting your name and content out there to let people know you exist. My written formula for virality will come in a later episode.
