He rejoined the family business after earning his Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Arizona in 1974. Since then, he has been instrumental in the operations, growth, and expansion of the business, which has led to what it is today. He is one of the grandsons of the legendary Mrs. B, founder of NFM. Ron Blumkin is the Chairman of Nebraska Furniture Mart (NFM). Ron is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and he joined NFM after serving in the U.S. Air Force from 1970-1972. Before being named Chairman in 2017, Ron served as NFM's President and Chief Operating Officer for more than 30 years and oversaw the company's growth from a single Omaha store to the establishment of their stores in Kansas City, Des Moines, and The Colony, Texas. Tre', who is only 18 years old, is a self-taught singer, songwriter, and producer based in Lenexa, Kansas. Tre' and his band, Pretty Running People, already have an album out that debuted in 2019 called 'Basic Summer Album'. In this episode… Tre’ Mutava’s story is one of grit and conviction that started at a very young age. He was born in Kennesaw County in Atlanta, Georgia, grew up in foster care, and now, he lives in Kansas where he produces and writes his own music. For Tre’, music has always been his escape, and songwriting has been the best way for him to release his emotions; there’s always a song for his every emotion and he wants to share it with the world. When Tre’ came uponNFM’s Anthem Theme Song Contest, he decided that it was another way for him to reach out to people through his music.
