How She Grew In Leadership & Self as an Agency Owner
I am so excited to chat with one of the members of The Agency Thrivemind today! My guest, Mary Zargarian and her agency partner with teams and organizations to leverage their strengths in business and build systems to handle the rest. She joined The Agency Thrivemind when she was very early on in her agency growth, and it has been absolutely amazing to not only see the growth in her business, but to watch her grow as a leader and an agency owner over the past year! Mary shares her story of how she went from consulting > to hiring a team > to now owning a thriving agency - and how she has embraced the evolution of her business despite sometimes having those reservations about giving up and going back into corporate. She continues to trust her intuition when it comes to hiring and placing team members within her agency.  We talk about: Mary's journey into agency ownership What she has learned through the growth How she handles the messy middle Her favorite part about agency ownership How The Agency Thrivemind has helped Hosted on Acast. How She Recognizes The Difference Between Fear and Intuition
I tried looking up how many decisions we make in a day. The results were anywhere from 267 to 35,000! That’s quite a range!  Either way, some decisions are easy (like do I want to take an extra nap today? = no brainer!), but others require a little more to process. Sometimes no matter how much fact-finding we try to do, we just have to pick a side and take action. This is especially true when it comes to our businesses, because that action helps bring clarity. This week I’m chatting with Hunter Lowder, co-owner of Tortoise & The Bear. Hunter shares how she’s been able to lean into her experience as a mindset coach and business strategist, and support entrepreneurs in creating and prioritizing the growth of their business in a sustainable way. After suffering severe burnout herself, Hunter knows it’s more important than ever to tune into your body’s signals of when to take a step back versus when to lean in through the ‘scaries’ and take the right next step in your business.  We talk about: Different personality tests Intuition vs fear How this applies to business owners Hosted on Acast. How She Takes the Sleazy & Scary Out of Sales
Let’s face it, no matter who we are, we all want successful launches within our business. After all, you’ve invested the time creating an offer to transform your audience. . . but they have to say ‘yes’ to what we’re selling in order to get the results.  I’ve worn lots of hats as a launch manager, founder of a launch management agency, creator of a launch manager certification program, and business owner who has launched her own products and programs. I know it’s so important to be able to set those realistic good, better, and best goals as well as establish strategic timelines to complete the copy and design and integrate all the tech.  This week I’m chatting with Nikki Rausch of Your Sales Maven. As an entrepreneur with over 25 years experience, Nikki has a unique ability to help business owners sell successfully and authentically. She acts as a ‘sales guide’ to help them maximize the impact of their launch by advising on all things copy, design, closing calls, and strategy.  We talk about: What a launch manager is and is not Setting clients up for success before the launch starts One actionable step you can take towards better sales Hosted on Acast. Whether you are the CEO of an agency, the right-hand in command, or a support team member, the fact of the matter is you are most likely a leader (whether you know it yet or not!), you are most likely leading someone, or there will come a day when you will be leading someone in some capacity. How She Kept Her Business Going While Grieving
Today’s episode is a heavy but necessary one. Whether it be the loss of a loved one, the end of a relationship, struggling with an illness, or any other number of things, grief is one of those things that we don’t want to think about and we often try to hide from. But the truth is it’s something we will all deal with in some form or another at some point in our lives.  We all know there are several stages of processing grief and it can affect us mentally, emotionally, and physically. While learning how to work through our grief is universal, not everyone has to do it while running a business at the same time. Which is why this is an extra important conversation. I greatly appreciated Jessica’s vulnerability in sharing her own story of how she navigated grief last year when her mother was diagnosed with and ultimately passed away from cancer. She reminds us that although you may be a CEO or a business owner, at the end of the day first and foremost, you are human and you are not alone.  We talk about Balancing work and life while grieving Different types of grief Different ways to process How to support someone who is grieving  Jessica's website Jessica's instagram Hosted on Acast. How Tasha Got Her Groove Back
I’m baaack! Welcome to Season 8 of How She Did That! Can I just say, 2022 has been a year… You may have noticed that I took a short break from the podcast over the last few months, which happened for a number of reasons. One of those reasons being The Launch Guild experienced some pretty major changes that were a lot harder for me to process than I anticipated. Because of that, I needed to take a step back to recharge and restructure my goals for my business this year. Instead of a year of growth, this became a year of rest and restoration for myself and for The Launch Guild… (and it’s actually turned out pretty great so far!) Now that I am back and ready to kick off a new season of the podcast, I want to start by talking to you about what this reframing looked like for me, and also share some of my tips and takeaways from it.  As challenging as the first half of this year was, the silver lining is that it allowed me an opportunity to rediscover who I am, what I really enjoy doing, and who I enjoy being around outside of the online business space. I’ve been ruthlessly intentional about making time to do what makes me feel alive again. And the rewards have been absolutely worth it! If you are like me and this year threw you for a loop, here’s how you can start getting your groove back: Be intentionally ruthless with your schedule Speak about what you need Find what lights you up inside and outside of your business Check out my brand new, 45 minute-ish masterclass that will help you create a fast track system to slashing your to-do list by hiring your A-Team, delegating without drama, and fearlessly budgeting to scale. …all without sacrificing a drop of quality! When a client hires you to fulfill a role for a service they need and brings you on to their team, it can sometimes feel like you are the “new kid on the block” trying to fit in. You don’t want to step on any toes, you want the relationship to be cohesive and function seamlessly, while at the same time owning your expertise and way of doing things that you are bringing to the table.
