Introducing the Listening Project and host Felicia Mason
Houston is a sprawling city with an even larger metro area, all covered by the Houston Chronicle and the newspaper’s community weekly papers. But there are huge swaths and pockets of the city that go uncovered. With this project, led by Assistant City Editor Felicia Mason, the Houston Chronicle will send journalists to Houston’s neighborhoods to meet the people where they are, listen to them, and tell their stories. We’re planning community listening sessions where you do the talking and we listen, forums on specific topics and this podcast
