BONUS Episode 22 Kerrie-Ann Jones
And we're back with part two of our special two part bonus episodes where we are interviewing each other! This week, Kerrie-Ann is in the hot seat and we delve into the world of one of the industry's most accomplished stylists. You've seen her work grace the covers of so many magazines, but before Kerrie-Ann took the styling world by storm, she had a whole other career. One of our favourite things we talk about with guests is their 'pivot' moment, when they go from one industry, take a chance and switch it up. Kerrie-Ann has had a few pivots in her time, from dance, to almost a decade in the music industry, her pivot came from her love of design and interiors. Kerrie-Ann's experience in the industry shows you can't sit around and wait for opportunities to land at your feet, if you want something to happen, it starts with you. This is a story about seeking your dream out and grabbing it. There's no sign of her slowing down either, and her next project is just around the corner, The Stylist's Lab, an online masterclass on finding your own personal style and how to hone your skills. BONUS Episode 21 Jono Fleming
This week is part one of our special two part bonus episodes where we are interviewing each other! First up is Jono, our resident interior designer. Jono is a self confessed 'curated maximalist' with a short attention span and a love for design. We start at the beginning where Jono's first creative outlet was as a budding musician, but it wasn't long until he knew interiors and designer were his main focus. After a gap year in England (that alone is a story you won't want to miss), he came back to Sydney with interiors on the mind and has been going ever since. It hasn't always been the easiest path, there's lots of ups and downs, plus a brief detour to cook in Italy, but no matter what, Jono's passion for the industry has fuelled him and he's become a bit of a jack of all trades when it comes to design. In an industry with so much happening, it can be hard to figure out which path is the right one and this week's chat shows you don't have to decide on everything right away. Things will change and opportunities will come up, you just have to roll with it and see where it takes you.
