7 | What it takes to be an Actress with Rachael Tant

This episode I have on my friend and actress of mine that I’ve had the privilege to direct some short films and scenes for. Her name is Rachael Tant and she brought me on board last year to direct some short scenes for her showreel. I encourage you to check them out on my website or her showreel that I will link in the show notes. I’ve talked previously about the scenes but Rachael and I really dive into some crazy stories that happened on set. Like getting kicked out of an Airbnb, half the crew getting hyperthermia, and incredible prep it took to play the iconic DC character the Joker in one scene. We also talk a lot about the expectations an actor has to play into to get some roles. Such as being typecast, how you post on social media, and if you are liked or not by the cast and crew. It was fascinating insight Rachael gives and I hope you all and take something away from it.
