2013-14 NBA Preview: Miami Heat
The Miami Heat return a championship unit plus added some pieces that could potentially widen the gap. If Greg Oden and Michael Beasley give them anything, it will make the Heat that much tougher to deal with. I worry about Lebron James and Dwyane Wade though. Will this be the year the armor cracks?…

2013-14 NBA Preview: San Antonio Spurs
Yeah you’re not going to catch me writing off the Spurs. I’ll believe it when I see it. I'm convinced Tim Duncan is Ra's al Ghul and we won't see a drop in his play. Kawhi Leonard impressed many with his solid play in the Finals and Tony Parker is Tony Parker. Do we expect yet another title run for the League of Shadows?

2013-14 NBA Preview: Sacramento Kings
"Big things have small beginnings". With the Maloof brothers now out as owners, the Sacramento Kings can finally move on and become a NBA team again. The beginning of the new era starts with a piece from the old. DeMarcus Cousins signed a healthy extension and its clear the team will be building around him. Rookie Ben McLemore shows signs of being a top 3 2-guard in this league but will he realize his potential? What's with the log jam at power forward? Is this team lottery bound yet again?

2013-14 NBA Preview: Utah Jazz
The road has been cleared for Derrick Favors and Enes Kanter. With Al Jefferson gone to Charlotte (for their competitive standing of course) and Paul Millsap gone to Atlanta, the young duo will get their shot at playing against some primary big man units this year. Does that opportunity translate into wins? Will Trey Burke be the next Chris Paul?...

2013-14 NBA Preview: Toronto Raptors
Fresh off of Lasik surgery, Rudy Gay claims the shooting numbers will improve. That remains to be seen but its clear the advanced metrics community is not a fan of Rudy. With Andrea Bargnani out of town, what will be the next move for the Raptors? Do we see a trade in DeMar DeRozan's future?

2013-14 NBA Preview: Washington Wizards
With the way the Wizards season ended last year, you would find it surprising that a fan base would actually be more excited than when the season started. A big reason for that is a healthy John Wall. After coming back from injury, Wall performed like an All-Star and rookie Bradley Beal looked to be rounding into form. With healthy pieces and newly acquired Marcin Gortat, will the Wizards take a step up and make the playoffs this year?

2013-14 NBA Preview: Portland Trailblazers
The Blazers fans have much to be excited about regarding their future with standout point guard Damian Lillard leading the way. They drafted C.J. McCollum who many are calling this year's Lillard and LaMarcus Aldridge is ready for another run. Did the Blazers do enough to shore up their lack of depth? Will Robin Lopezbe the piece Aldridge needs to flourish?..

2013-14 NBA Preview: Phoenix Suns
Eric Bledsoe gets his own team to run now but does that mean it's the right decision? Goran Dragic is a good player but he plays the same positions as Bledsoe. They just traded Marcin Gortat for a 2014 draft pick so we know what the message is in Phoenix...Welcome to the Suns, Andrew Wiggins...we have Freaky Fridays with the Morris twins...

2013-14 NBA Preview: Oklahoma City Thunder
Everything seemed set for a Heat vs Thunder Finals rematch but then the basketball gods called for a sacrifice. That sacrifice came in the form of a injury to Russell Westbrook which robbed the Thunder a trip back to the Finals. The Thunder are still without Westbrook but will they be able to hold down the fort behind a motivated Kevin Durant? Have the Thunder missed their window for a championship? Was the James Harden trade the beginning of the end for OKC?

2013-14 NBA Preview: New York Knicks
The New York Knicks were able to achieve some regular season success last season finishing second in the Eastern Conference. While they fell flat against the Indiana Pacers in the second round, the New York faithful felt like their team was turning a corner. Unfortunately that turn appears to lead to a dead end filled with abandoned houses and broken dreams. While the upper echelon of the Eastern Conference got better (Indiana's bench, D-Rose coming back), the Knicks appear to have regressed. Will they build on last year or will we see the Knicks return to mediocrity?

2013-14 NBA Preview: Milwaukee Bucks
Addition by subtraction. While many view the departure of Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis as a positive sign, it remains to be seen if their replacements, O.J. Mayo and Brandon Knight, will provide more than their predecessors. It's clear the Bucks aren't tanking but are they hurting themselves in the long run by NOT tanking?...

2013-14 NBA Preview: New Orleans Pelicans
New roster. New logo. New identity? Anthony Davis will be joined by Jrue Holiday and Tyreke Evans in what appears to be a run to the playoffs. Avoiding an obvious tank job, the Pelicans look to rise up in rank in the tough Western Conference. Do they have enough to succeed?...

2013-14 NBA Preview: Orlando Magic
The After Dwight Era continues in Orlando and the future looks bright with rookie sensation Victor Oladipo leading the way. Despite the rosy outlook with pieces Tobias Harris and Nikola Vucevic, this team is really young and looks to struggle. Will the new pieces form a contender or will the Magic find themselves looking at lottery balls again?...

2013-14 NBA Preview: Los Angeles Lakers
With Kobe Bryant out with an Achilles injury and Dwight Howard lost to free agency, what will the Lakers achieve this season? Will Steve Nash and Pau Gasol be able to develop some D'Antoni system chemistry now that Howard is gone? Will Kobe return in time to salvage a playoff appearance? Will he even "be Kobe" when he comes back?...

2013-14 NBA Preview: Detroit Pistons
The Detroit Pistons are going against modern NBA principles with this new collection of talent. Instead of living inside the deep post and on the three point line, this team will live inside no mans land which exist in the middle. While teams like the Heat and the Spurs are masters of the "new efficiency" era, the Pistons will have to figure out how to counter that with additions Josh Smith and Brandon Jennings. Will new head coach Maurice Cheeks have what it takes to lead Greg Monroe and the Pistons back to the playoffs?...

2013-14 NBA Preview: Denver Nuggets
We finally know the answer to the question, "What do you do when you teams wins 57 games and finishes 3rd in the Western Conference?". You fire your Coach of the Year in George Karl, you lose Executive of the Year in Masai Ujiri, and you trade one of your best players in Andre Iguodala......lottery pick anyone?

2013-14 NBA Preview: Dallas Mavericks
Now that plans A-Z have failed, what did Mark Cuban decide to do with the Dallas Mavericks? Well, we don't know just yet. Monta Ellis and Jose Calederon were brought it after the failures of management to secure the first and second options. Does Cuban have enough time to build yet another contender behind Dirk Nowitzki?...

2013-14 NBA Preview: Cleveland Cavaliers
Behind the newly minted superstar status of Kyrie Irving, the Cleveland Cavaliers are poised to take a step up in the Eastern Conference. 2013-14 NBA Preview: Charlotte Bobcats
The Bobcats tried to make some moves this off season and they were able to snag big man Al Jefferson from Utah. They also were able to nab Cody Zeller in the 2013 NBA Draft. Have Kemba Walker and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist improved enough to make the Bobcats a playoff threat in the Eastern Conference?...
