We quite literally donned a hard hat and highlighter-yellow work vest for you people. And voluntarily had our picture taken. For you. We were lucky to get a private tour of the new Metropolitan luxury apartments that are being constructed in Downtown Columbia! All we can say is...WOW. With standard features like hardwood floors and stainless steel appliances in the units, awesome amenities like a dog grooming station and outdoor theater area, and its prime location in the heart of Downtown, these apartments are hot! HoCoLife 06: Go Outside and FALL!
Even though the Summer's come and gone, there are still TONS of things to do around Howard County, Maryland! This is our favorite time of year to be outside; the air is crisp, the temps are cooler, the sunlight isn't as direct (and merciless!). You can go outside and not feel like you're practically swimming through the mugginess. Plus, do we really need to point out how amazing pumpkin spice everything is? This week on the podcast, we talk about some of the outdoor events and activities you can do to take advantage of Fall: Terrapin Adventures has lots of stuff to do, including a Stargazing with S'mores evening, Kayak nature tour, and bike and wine tour Rockburn Skills Park in Elkridge is a fun off-road biking experience, with six trails for varying skill levels Pumpkin patches and corn mazes are open! We talk about a few of the places around Howard County where you can go to get your patch on! Observe the moon! International Observe the Moon Night (InOMN) is an annual event that is dedicated to encouraging people to ‘look up’ and take notice of our nearest neighbor, the Moon.
