The 4th of July a national day of commemoration in the United States, and a big cause for celebration over there. We took a look at our national celebrations and their history with UCD historian Dr Conor Mulvagh.

Historians Dr. Conor Mulvagh and Dr Kelly Fitzgerald from the UCD School of Irish, Celtic Studies and Folklore join Pat to tell tales of UCD and the history of the Belfield campus on it's 50th year anniversary.

A Dublin doctor was forced to travel to Northern Ireland to donate a kidney to help a sick stranger. Dr Dominick Natin, an occupational physician in the Mater Hospital in Dublin, is one of a handful of altruistic donors who have given a kidney to someone they do not know.
