Peggy the Doll
This week we discuss one of the most famous haunted objects - Peggy the Doll. Peggy came to the attention of the paranormal community when a researcher posted her photo and video on Facebook, causing over 80 people to claim they had some form of physical and mental ailments befall them, by simply looking at her images. Possibly housing the angry tormented spirit of a woman from the Holocaust, this doll now requires a release of liability to be signed when you go to see her in person at Zak Bagans Haunted Museum in Vegas. We're traveling to NYC this week, folks - to one of the city's most haunted locations - The Morris-Jumel Mansion. Built before America was America, this stately home saw many key lives lived within its walls such as George Washington and Aaron Burr. Lin Manuel Miranda even wrote some of his award winning play Hamilton in this very place! A parade of ghosts linger here including Washington, Burr, a Hessian Soldier, and a maid that committed suicide. But the most attention commanding spirit is that of the lady of the house - Eliza Jumel. Shushing school kids, demanding you leave her bedroom, and utterly ignoring men is what this ghost is famous for.
