Ep 25 - What You Resist Will Persist - Tips on How to Slow Down
Welcome back! The Hippies read a beautiful and hilarious share from a lovely listener that touches in with grieving, being kind to your Self, and leaning into the process. The topic for the day is slowing down -- taking that time for your Self when you are simply not in that hippie dippy, centered place. The truth is, some breaks that we think are breaks, are not breaks, rather they are distractions that never really slow down the mind. The Hippies are chock full of helpful tips on how to slow down the mind and open up the heart! From self-massage to restorative yoga, mini-breathwork to essential oils, the Hippies got the hacks! WE LOVE YOU ALL, ALWAYS! THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT & SHARING! ReplyForward

Ep 22 - The Ego is Not Your Amigo -- Partnership, Acceptance, Inner Child & High Self
The gang comes in today to demonstrate in honesty that some days you just need to feel it, whatever it is, and that it is okay to feel off. This leads to a discussion about Jeffrey's partnership and how we often externalize rather than looking inward to do the "real" and often times more difficult work. Cassidy also shares some intimate insight into her marriage with Beau and how and why the relationship has healed and changed for the more peaceful. Beau shares about his morning cacao ritual that addressed a lot of noise and externalization that ultimately led to a novel meditation experience exhibiting work he has been doing with the Inner Child and the High Self. The trifecta closes the show with a meditational check-in with the Inner Child for the listeners. And all is well! WE SEND YOU ALL BIG LOVE & THANK YOU FOR ALLOWING US TO BE HERE WITH YOU! P.S. There is a small cut in the episode due to technical difficulties!

Ep 20 - Becoming a Real Nobody -- Shedding Identity, Releasing Ego
This week Cassidy, Jeffrey, & Beau are talking about the concept of becoming nobody by shedding that self image created by your ego as a way of feeling safe. The idea is to let go of that which tells you that you are separate so that you may recognize that you are, and everyone is, a part of the Whole, the One. This leads to a discussion on Baba Ram Dass, author of Be Here Now, his life, his beginnings, & his illuminating teachings. Beau shares his experience shedding his identity, only to pick up a new one, & Jeffrey describes his foray back into college. THANK YOU FOR LOVING & SHARING THE SHOW! WE LOVE YOU, TOO!

Ep 19 - What's Funny About Death, Grieving & Going to Hell?
With a spring in their step & smiles on their faces, Cassidy, Jeffrey & Beau tackle death, grieving & judgment. Beau comes from a long line of dead people, and even as he writes this description, uses humor as a coping mechanism. He delves into the tragedy he has faced, what it did to him and how he got through it. Cassidy shares some insight from The Book of Awakening by Mark Nepo. Jeffrey also shares a very personal story about his relationship with death, suicide & being told that he is going to hell by family members. This leads to a bigger conversation about judgment, how we can do & be better, whether furstration, judgment, and anger is ever an answer, or if Love truly is the path & source of healing. This is a biggie! And Jeffrey, Cass, & Beau are each so thrilled to share it with you. They hope that you will find it worthy of sharing with your loved ones and fellow hippies.

Ep 12 - Insane Cacao Posse
It's the cacao episode! Although the Hippies don't get to cacao until about halfway through the episode. Prior to that, the gang talks bad summertime tv, like Floor is Lava, Tag, and Don't. With so much joy in their hearts (and cacao in their veins), Cassidy, the only one who hasn't studied at the Groundlings, throws out an impromptu improv game that instantly becomes the most ridiculous moment in Hippie Dippy Show history. Then...FINALLY. .. CACAO! The gang talks different brands, physiological effects, daily practice, and emotional effects of this plant medicine. There will be more practical cacao talk next week! BIG LOVE TO ALL OF THE SUBSCRIBERS, LIKERS, SHARERS & COMMENTERS!

After a week off, the Hippies are back with heavy hearts as they address the crisis facing the black community and the nation. The gang shares their experiences of these emotionally charged times and get candid about the challenge of being present and "doing the work" while not really knowing what to do or how to help. In trying to find a way to understand and move through this powerful and difficult moment, the conversation turns towards holding space, empathy & LOVE. There are words of wisdom shared from a Sacred Sons online event that was used to amplify black voices and bring in allies that may help listeners do their best to do their part. The show closes with a Buddhist Metta Prayer that promotes loving kindness for self, others, and even those you may not like. If you have thoughts or resources you would like to share with your hosts, please reach out via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or on IG @hippiedippyshow. Ep 9 - Go Feed Me
Cassidy Bowker, Jeffrey Jay & Beau Bowker talk about the easing restrictions and fears relating to Coronavirus and what it is like getting back to "normal" or the "new normal." Cassidy brings up the idea of children being used to shame non-mask wearers, Beau doesn't would rather just stay home, & Jeffrey deals with an onslaught of masks opinions while helping out at a friend's restaurant. This leads to a discussion about the opportunity to help others during this time, including starting meal trains for people. Cassidy asks the questions: are you an optimist, and what really is an optimist? Chime in and tell us what you think @hippiedippyshow on IG or at email@example.com. Ep 8 - When You're Farting, You're Perfect
Welcome in, and the show quickly turns to talk of Beau's transitioned (see: dead) mom and grave robbing her. It evolves into a conversation about humor and being able to laugh at life without bypassing it with insincerity. Cassidy poses a question about the value of crying & comparing it to laughing. There is a discussion about hate and what hate really means about ourselves and where hate comes from. Jeffrey and Beau devise a political smear job against Cassidy. Cassidy tells some pee stories, and then everyone tells some fart stories to really round out the show. As always, the show closes with a meditation. So much gratitude to all who have subscribed and shared the show with friends & family. Thanks for having our backs! We've got yours too! Please keep commenting, liking, rating & sharing! LOVE & LIGHT!

Ep 7 - Google Your Friends
Opening up the show, Jeffrey comments on the vibe that Cassidy & Beau are putting out, complete with a channeling of Matthew McConaughey. It is a packed show: Jeffrey Jay teaches us how to count, Cassidy teaches us about "leveling up," and Beau teaches us about Taekwondo. Cassidy & Jeffrey have been communing over Zoom for a productive & bonding "power hour," which brings in the idea of connecting with friends/loved ones and how perfectionism can limit your connectivity and relationships. This brings in a practice that Jeff has picked up from comedian Chase DuRousseau that involves choosing friendship over Google. Switching up the close of the show, the gang gives the audience a moment to focus on what they appreciate about themselves and Matthew McConaughey comes back to tell Beau what he appreciates about Beau's Self. THANK YOU FOR BEING PART OF THE SHOW! SENDING EACH OF YOU BIG LOVE!
