The Magic of the Discovery Call
Everyone in service-based businesses needs to know about the magic of discovery calls, so I’m here to deliver. It’s what I do as an initial point of contact with my potential clients and it has allowed me to have up to 90% closing rate in my business. What is a discovery call? Well It’s kinda like speed dating, but for entrepreneurs and business owners! By doing it, both my client and I get to feel out how we can collaborate in taking their business to the next level and how my services can fit their needs. In this episode, I talk about how I conduct discovery calls and the values it gives me in getting to know more about my clients and their business — all in just 20-30 minutes. To connect with me, check out my socials at:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/baileyrosecreative/Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.nz/baileyrosecreativeTiktok: baileyrosecreative

Tango: My Me Time
When I first started my business, I used to work myself to burnout. I used to knee-jerk react at my clients’ beck and call, replying to their messages and solving things for them 24/7. I used to think that this has always been how things are done in a fast-paced work environment and, unknowingly, I lost control over my time. Only when I consulted with my business mentor did I realise that I had to realign my work to my values if I wanted to be here for the long haul. Now, I’ve set healthier boundaries and expectations with my clients and given myself the regular me-time I need and deserve, in the form of tango which I do 3 times a week! And this episode is all about Tango. In this episode, I talk about how I got out of the vicious cycle of toxicity that I had built for myself just by tweaking one little thing in my everyday routine. To connect with me, check out my socials at:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/baileyrosecreative/Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.nz/baileyrosecreativeTiktok: baileyrosecreative

Brand Strategy Magic
In this week’s episode, I talk all things brand strategy. A lot of business owners think that branding is simply investing in a logo, but that’s actually just the very tip of the iceberg. When I do brand strategy calls with my clients, I dive deep into the depths of one’s business — to the core values, target audience, brand persona, brand voice, brand positioning, and so much more. We get to the core of your brand’s substance. In this episode, I talk about why your business needs brand strategy, how it can transform your business and explode its growth, and what my brand strategy magic process is like. Shedding the Label of "Teen"
We all come to a point where we feel stuck and stagnant. Like we’ve hit a plateau in our lives and we’re not growing anymore. For me, it was when I realised I was still clinging to a label of “teen entrepreneur” I’d given myself when I first launched my business almost 2 years ago. I was using it as a safety blanket to not grow any more. So when I started the process of rebranding my business, I realised that I also had to rebrand the way I saw myself — from that child with no real grasp of accountability to the successful business owner who knows exactly what her goals are. Shedding that label of “teen entrepreneur” felt scary as hell; it left me feeling naked. But it also removed the cap I’d put on myself and allowed me to grow fast and strong. In this episode, I talk about going through that metamorphosis and the beauty in discomfort that comes from escaping the comfort zone.To connect with me, check out my socials at:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/baileyrosecreative/Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.nz/baileyrosecreativeTiktok: baileyrosecreative

The Downside to Overgiving
In this episode, I talk about how I managed to overhaul and uplevel my business and my life by not only creating a fresh brand strategy, but also, by setting healthy boundaries with my clients, prioritising my time, and breaking the toxic cycle of work burnout and stress that I’d been living in or years. I now have a clearer headspace for creativity and I'm enjoying my work even more now I’ve got more clarity on where I’m taking my business, my next steps, and how I’m getting to that next level.  To connect with me, check out my socials at:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/baileyrosecreative/Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.nz/baileyrosecreativeTiktok: baileyrosecreative

Setting Clear Boundaries: Mother-Daughter Chats #1
This is the first episode of Mother-Daughter Chats which is the first series I will be starting on my podcast where I invite my mother, Kate Ruby Aroha, to have a chat about different topics. We dived into this first episode talking about boundaries. Here's a sneak peak: "It's so important that we are upfront with people from the beginning to see if we're a great match. And if, I think if we're not upfront with people from the beginning, in all respects, even like potential partners or friends or clients or employees, I just think with any human interactions and relating. I think we've got to be ourselves from the beginning and be where we're at, at the beginning rather than trying to shape shift and lower our standards and adapt or accommodate and over-manage other people's emotions.Because then that just sets a precedence for how things are going to be ongoingly. And that has been my big learning lately. Like I is, you know, have just, you know, elevated so much lately and in that elevation, there's been just a new level of direct conversations with a lot of people around me. And some people Were okay with it, even though it was a bit jiggly or they jiggled through it. I totally get that sometimes when standards are raised it's going to be a jiggly period.Great, that's fine. But can people jiggle their way into it, into the new standard or are they gonna jiggletheir way out of the role? And, you know, a couple of people ended up leaving, but even that, like I just think when we establish new boundaries, that-- New standards we can kind of go hands off where other, what other people do with that, to be honest. Cause if they end up leaving or it just reveals that they're not a great fit, great, better to know now. Like let's reveal the stuff and then we can either move forward and part and go our separate ways and they can find something that's a great match for where they're at. And then we can bring someone who's a great match for the level, the new standards."
