S2: E8: On the #EndSARS Movement with Richard Samson
P. S: This episode was recorded on the 12th of October, as at which all information stated here were accurate.  We are uncertain how the next few days may turn out and as such, we do not bear the risk of misinformation if subsequent changes are made in the future. What started out as a social media hashtag has grown into a national outcry by millions of Nigerians calling for the end of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad. Over the past days we have seen how Nigerian youths have pushed for not just the dissolution of SARS, but the end of Police Brutality. I sat with a friend, Richard Samson, to talk about everything on the movement, from our own personal experiences with SARS to the alleged end, the new SWAT team, and the stifling of tech companies in support of the movement. By sharing our personal experiences, we hope it has been proven that ANYONE can be a victim of this insane harassment. Kindly listen and share on all platforms. Remember, your voice matters, and the movement matters. Follow us on social media platforms and retweet this episode if you enjoyed it Richard Samson : @richy_datson HerownHero Girl: @herownherogirl Stay Safe out there. Sending you lots of Love  Your Favourite Hero Girl #EndSARS #SARSMUSTEND #stoppolicebrutality p

Hello Hero Girls & Guys, 💜 The past few days has shown that we can actually be agents of change... It can only happen if you join the cause...here are ways you can 1. Share your experience with us 2. Check up on your friends and people you know 3. Use your skills to support the cause if you are a designer design...writer, then write, singer, then sing, dancer then dance 4. Seek international grants and support 5. And finally, it may look insignificant, but pray. Positive Affirmations for Self Discovery
Hello Hero Girls, Welcome to another episode of HerOwnHero Podcast, this topic is one I’ve been planning for a while. We’ll be talking about Positive affirmations and speaking words to yourself. Why positive affirmations, because as you start your self-discovery journey, you’ll find that there are things you subconsciously believe, they affect your actions and then your life entire. It's our belief that controls our life, not our environment.  You want to specifically take time to do some soul searching to find out those things you subconsciously believe. If you'd like to know more about Self Discovery, my free ebook is a perfect place to start. Visit herownhero.com.ng to get yours. Like, share and subscribe to this podcast.
