#9 Bilal Sanchez - Everything in your life leads up to where you are now
Is it possible to connect with anybody at all and have a conversation that enriches our lives? I’m Andrew Riis and welcome to the experiment. I believe there is depth, beauty and inspiration inside everyone when we take the time to connect. This podcast does just that. Each episode is a conversation with someone that is or used to be a stranger. Perhaps we don’t need scholars or celebrities to create a meaningful podcast... Maybe some of the best stories are tucked away, folded into the pockets of random passers-by, of people who may have just never been given a space to tell their story. Listened to the conversation? Now it’s your turn. On the other side of hello, anything is possible. Who in your life is similar or different from Bilal? And, if you want to get connected with another random listener somewhere in the world, head to hellostranger.fm/connect. *** If you enjoy the podcast, would you please consider leaving a short review on Apple Podcasts/iTunes? It takes less than 60 seconds, and it really makes a difference. For show notes, transcripts and past guests, please visit hellostranger.fm Join the FB community: facebook.com/groups/hellostrangerfriends/ Follow the podcast: instagram.com/hellostrangerpodcast Follow Andrew: instagram.com/andyriis If you really must connect with Bilal, you can find him on Instagram @bilalsanch Music: Sundown by Joseph McDade

#3: Anthony P –– The Price of Trust
#3: Anthony P –– The Price of Trust // Hello, Stranger “...I didn't really grow up with my my father around because he was in or out of jail like most of the time. My dad would always tell me like, yeah, I'm never come back and go back there again and do it. And it would just be time after time… it’s kind of just learning more how to accept who a person is, and that you can't really change everybody…” (Anthony) Is it possible to connect with anybody at all and have a conversation that enriches our lives? *Audio recorded through Zoom, quality is better in all future episodes* #1: Raj S –– A Dinner Party with 40 Strangers // Hello, Stranger “Some people get caught up in a bit of a bubble where everyone's okay with the friends groups they have right now. I think we forget to socialise with other strangers, and when you get out of that bubble and see other stories and experiences, you realise how cool and beautiful it is.” (Raj) Is it possible to connect with anybody at all and have a conversation that enriches our lives? 2min Preview // Hello, Stranger
Is it possible to connect with anybody at all and have a conversation that enriches our lives? I’m Andrew Riis and welcome to the experiment. Steven Pressfield says “The disease of our times is that we live on the surface. We’re a mile wide and an inch deep.” I believe there is depth, beauty and inspiration inside everyone when we take the time to connect and listen.  So, I've started a podcast doing just that! it’s called Hello, Stranger, and each episode is a conversation with someone that is or used to be a stranger. My friend Kaley summed it up nicely: "This idea that you don't need scholars or celebrities to create a meaningful podcast, maybe some of the best stories are tucked away, folded into the pockets of random passers-by or strangers on the train, of people who may have just never been given a space to tell their story." If you are at all intrigued, please subscribe to Hello, Stranger on your podcast app to be a part of this experiment. And if you have Instagram, go and follow Hello Stranger Podcast - one word, no dots or dashes. I’ll be doing updates there. Oh and one more thing - this project isn’t only about me having conversations. It’s also about you having conversations. At the end of an episode, you’ll be able to get connected with another random listener somewhere in the world.  More information: hellostranger.fm Music: Sundown by Joseph McDade
