The Virgo Experience (ft. Lil Feral)
In a Very Special Episode, Lil Feral makes her return appearance! When we recorded this I didn't realize it at the time, but it was the Summer Solstice. The year is halfway over. It's been 6 months since I started this thing. And damn in that time a lot has gone down. Honestly it's felt like a whole year...We talked in Lowell on the longest day of 2019 giving you guys some ~life updates~ about us both and also about ASMR, the awesomeness of Laura Dern, the glory days of MediaFire and, of course MUCH moreYou may notice somethings are a bit different about this episode, but no need to adjust your ears! Just did a wee bit of remixing for this Very Special one. And, while yes Lil Feral is moving out of the area soon, I expect this isn't the last you've heard from her on this show...Again sorry for the wait! I clearly cannot stick to any kind of schedule for the show, but hey at least I'm still doing it!

Order More Kidneys (ft. Ronald Metellus)
It's wild that I've done 10 of these! For the 10th installment of this here show I talked with my friend Ronald Metellus. Ronald is a comedy dude and writer dude and fellow rap musique afficionado who was visiting Boston from his native Philly. Despite me having to work a ton we found the time to record! And I'm glad we did!It wouldn't be & Ronald hanging out if we didn't talk AT LENGTH about rap stuff. And yes,  we do go into a lot and even do our own renditions of many classic songs. In fact, this may be the episode of my show with the most outbursts into song. We also do a bit of a ~look at the movies~ and have a seriously in-depth (and spoiler heavy sorry) chat about the recent films "Burning" and "High Life" in particular. While this is largely a pop culture episode (I guess they all are really?) we also do some reminiscing on the old days of college -- I know Ronald from my time in school in Santa Fe -- and even get into a bit of the, uh, Self Help arena. Unfortunately the sounds of the world outside my room didn't pick up on the recording, but it was a serene night! I should have put some soothing rain sounds over us talking~ in post~ but...I'm just thinking of that now, and I'm tired. Maybe it'll be raining when you listen, and it'll be just like you were there...

A Lot Of Falling From Grace (ft. Ben aka DJ Swiss)
Sorry 4 The Wait! Got a lil behind schedule, dear listeners, but now the Hellcast is back with new content! And what a great show we have for you! Ben and I have been wanting to do an episode for the show for a while, and we finally made it happen. At my home base in Boston we talked about our metal band shirt collections, movies we've been checking out (and movies we've made in the past!) Hellmouth locations and much more! Ben and I both were college radio dudes back in our salad days, and I'm hoping this 'sode is just a warm-up for us getting back on the air waves soon. Because then we won't only be talking about music...we'll be playing too. Speaking of music one crucial topic we totally forgot to cover is the new Carly Rae Jepsen album! News Flash: we love it. Also Speaking Of Music: stay tuned at the end for a little treat, guys! Not speaking of music: I just want to share that I got a nose bleed moments after Ben left Charnel House Studios (my apartment)

Ghosts & Shadows (ft. Bryan Heq)
And We're Back! Fresh off the "midseason break" here's a brand new episode of HELL IS OTHER PEOPLE! I talked with the LA Yokai himself Bryan about a number of things! From comics to TV to wrestling (let's be honest: this 'sode is largely about the WWE...) while I was in sunny Los Angeles! Although Bryan is in LA now, he is from the East Coast originally and it's been (can you believe it??) 5 whole years since we last hung out! And, despite technical difficulties (unlike dude in Napoleon Dynamite I LOATHE technology) and some allergies on my part, we recorded an episode I am super proud of! Not to fuckin mention Bryan just got back from a trip to Japan! And he regaled me with some awesome stories about his time there. Always a blast to visit LA and be LA Deli for a wee bit

Witch House Will Never Die (ft. M Wingren)
We global! This is the first international episode of Hell Is Other People and I am fucking psyched to share it! Through the wonders of WhatsApp I was able to talk with my friend M Wingren even though we are very far apart. That's right, I'm in Boston and M is lightyears away in Finland. We get into a lot of things on this episode, but plants are a recurring theme especially those amazing puffballs we all know as mushrooms. We also get talk a bit about electronic musique, the nature of consciousness, and much much more. And, most importantly (as all things do) we keep on cycling back to great equalizer: DEATH. M and I have known each other since I was going to school in the Land Of Enchantment: Santa Fe, NM. And that perhaps was the time when I started ranting about death the most! Honestly, I've only gotten worse as time has gone on. You know what they say: you only become more of yourself as you get older.

Fresh Fish Daily Pt. 2 (ft. Justin Miller)
The thrilling conclusion to my first 2-parter! Here's the second half of my chat with Justin where we further discuss the sheer complexity of "the secret," But, also we pitch our idea for a  new  horror movie monster, I do my best attempt to sing a Dirty Projectors song, and get into more in-depth conversation about scrying and remote viewing (Hell Is Other People: come for the pop culture and weirdo jokes, stay for the occult!) We also talk about a legendary radio interview Justin and his old pop punk band did. Also, you will hear some incredible impressions of birds and also of the somewhat bird-like (but really, is he like anything on this earth though?) Nicolas Cage. P.S: much like you kids watching your superheroes, you should stay tuned to the very very end because we have a little treat for you...

Fresh Fish Daily (ft. Justin Miller) Pt. 1
Justin is a dude of many aliases and many talents. Although he mainly raps as Scooby Bloo, he has gone by many other rap names in the past. Which brings to mind that Bill Shakespeare line "like, what's in a name though?" Justin's also a producer and guitar god and general music guy. Also a great dancer! Unfortunately we have not pivoted to video (yet) so you will just have to make do with the verbal footwork as Justin dances from topic to topic. And this really is an endless waltz, folks! We talked for nearly 3 hours about a range of stuff including learning languages, magicians, creepy TV intros, snakes with hats, a rare Jack Black film, gluten (what is it, really??) and just...so much. We even audition to voice some spider folks in the next Into The Spider Verse." What a time! Because this was such a marathon recording, I'm unveiling our chat over two episodes. How exciting! The first 2 parter. This is also, in a lot of ways, a follow-up to episode 4. Like Max, Justin and I also both used to work together at "The Cafe." And we definitely have some stories to share about that wacky place. Enjoy it! And, come back next week for the thrilling conclusion. Will we rant about even more wild shit? Find out next time on HELL IS OTHER PEOPLE. FACT CHECK: At one point, while talking about the opioid crisis, I mention the disgustingly rich asshole family who basically created it. I call them, super erroneously, the "Sardusky" family. But, in reality, they're the "Sackler" family. I'm sure this isn't my only totally wrong statement. See what else you can catch! It's a fun game

Opperation Stargate ft. Max
I talk with my former co worker and homie Max, a swag chef, music guy, and generally profound dude! We go into working in food service a bit, but that is CERTAINLY not all.  Max is like me and has interests in a lot of different shit. And that's great because, as you know, this is a podcast where rambling is encouraged! With spliff smoke billowing in the air of my room (a.k.a Charnel House Studios) we chatted about agism in our culture, pets, violence in videogames and media, cyrcadian rhythms, Austrailian accents...the list goes on. Oh, and for all my fellow mystics out there we even get into some New Age shit about Remote Viewing, cults and conspiracy! Max is pretty off the grid/incognito as far as the net is concerned, so this is a rare podcast appearance, and it was an honor to have him on. Please enjoy! P.S: FACT CHECK I say that Malcolm Gladwell wrote "Freakenomics," but I was totally not right about that. Gladwell is a cool guy, but he definitely did not write that book.

Sarcasmo (ft. Lil Feral)
Over some PBR I talked with adventurer and Twitter finesser, my IRL and URL friend (and fellow Virgo) Lil Feral. Yes, this is her debut on the podcast, but this also is the first time we've hung out in almost 2 years! So, naturally we had some shit to talk about. We cover A LOT of ground on this one including: her experience coming to The States from Brazil when she was young, what's cool about Lowell, MA, getting punched in the face, bad (and good! and great!) tattoos, legal weed, the bizarro ride we'be had on Twitter over the last 10 years...and really so much more.  P.S: Forgive the bit of fuzziness in the background. Technology! It is not good! (gonna have that crisp, beautiful audio going forward though folks I promise)

Everyone Is Going To Be Changing A Lot (Ft. Will Culbert & Evan Bustria)
#Culbustria 2024 !!!A chat with Presidential Candidate Will Culbert and his running mate, Vice Presidential Candidate Evan Bustria. These dudes are coming for the White House in 2024, so look out America! We talk about what it means to be The Very Best, their goals & aspirations for the future of the country, and their (very sound) contingency plans in case of various national security threats. Yes, this includes Extraterrestrial Invasion, guys. And, of course, that's not all! Tune in for an hour of real political shit. 2024 can't come soon enough.

Butts & Glitter (ft. Ali Hamdan)
EPISODE ONE! This is it!Ali Hamdan studies/teaches geography at UCLA specifically in regards to conflict in the Middle East. He's also an old friend from my salad days, and it's an honor to have him on the very first episode of Hell Is Other People! We talked a bit during his recent visit to Boston about geopolitics, shitted on colonialism, and Ali told me some stories about his travels. But wait, there's more! We also digressed into rants about (every dad's favorite show circa 2005) "House, MD,"  Merfolk, "Butt Rock," and well...the list of topics really does go on, folks. Truly, this is a potpourri of conversation for your little ears!
