Welcome, marks and markettes, to another episode of Heels and Heroes wrestling podcast. It's been a busy couple weeks here, with mania weekend and all, but we're back to cover more NJPW and Ring of Honor. This week, we tackle RoH's Supercard of Honor and (briefly) New Japan's Sakura Genesis. First, the boys give their thoughts on the Golden Lovers v Hangman Page and Cody, Marty Scurll v Will Ospreay, and Okada v Zachary Sabre Jr. After that, we move on, discussing the entirety of Supercard of Honor, but focusing on the big matches. We talk about the Bucks and Flip taking on SoCal Uncensored (and some uninvited guests) in the ladder match. We lament the Best Bout Machine, Kenny Omega, in his match with the Three Star Savior, Cody. Finally, we wrap up with a match between two of our favorites, Marty Scurll and Dalton Castle. In this week's episode of Heels and Heroes, your boys recap the Ring of Honor 16th Anniversary show, talk a little New Japan Cup and give their thoughts on the ULTIMATE DELETION of Bray Wyatt and the evil spirit, Sister Abigail. On the topic of RoH 16, we put over Flip Gordon, Hiromu Takahashi, Dalton Castle, and Jay Lethal for their great performances. We also discuss how we somehow cheered for Cody against Matt Taven. Moving on, to the NJPW cup, we talk the story of the tournament, namely ZSJ's submission of the top names in NJPW. Finally, we take a look at the deletion of the man known as Bray Wyatt and his bath in the Lake of Reincarnation. (We mostly try to figure out whether the WWE will actually give Bray a fresh start)

As usual, the boys settle down and talk some wrestling. In this episode, we recap New Japan's New Beginnings Osaka and Ring of Honor's Honor Rising events. First, we discuss how every match between Los Ingobernables de Japon and their rivals in CHAOS is incredible.  After, we (I) move onto how much better YOSHI HASHI is as a heel. Then, in addition to the matches in Osaka, we discuss the RoH-NJPW crossover show, but somehow mainly focus on the greatness of Dalton Castle, the talent and misfortune of Beretta, and the shittiness of Beer City Bruiser. Oh yeah, and we talk the return of the GOLDEN LOVERS, who definitely aren't gay, okay? Seriously. And on top of that, we hit the Bullet Club drama and the most recent episodes of Being The Elite. This week the boys watch and review NJPW's New Beginning in Sapporo. We cover the matches, the angle with Bullet Club, and talk at length about whether Kenny Omega and Kota Ibushi are lovers or just close. Like really close. Wake up cuddling on the couch close. They're not gay, though. We swear. Not that it would be wrong. Disregarding that, we chat about whether Bullet Club is fine (it isn't) and fantasy book our dream Bullet Club split. To our own embarrassment, we discuss how Juice Robinson and Hangman Page melt our icy hearts and, to our credit, how Elgin vs. Kitamura turn our soft hearts to stone.   Also I said I'd post this... so here goes. - Evan

We talk all the matches of each night, what we thought about the new entrances, who and which matches impressed, and what we think and hope is happening going forward. We break down the best matches, including Naito-Okada, Jericho-Omega, Suzuki-Goto and the fatal 4 way between Hiromu Takahashi, Will Ospreay, Marty Scurll, and KUSHIDA, and discuss what we think is happening with Bullet Club going forward. Oh, and we don't shit on EVIL as much as last time. Maybe we're going to turn face?
