Sattarzadeh, a self-described "academivist" (academic activist) about her work in recentering the inherent nobility of peoples and communities "from the periphery" that are too often solely portrayed as damaged and victimized, without delegitimizing the systemic injustices and inequities they face--and why these issues of representation and nobility are of spiritual significance. Sahar is an Assistant Professor of Education Studies at DePauw University and Research Associate at the Chair for Critical Studies in Higher Education Transformation (CriSHET) at Nelson Mandela University.

Reese identifies as a white, queer, neurotypical trans man born and raise in middle-class suburbs outside of Detroit. Emily Garrett is a 500 hour Advanced Certified Yoga Instructor, Ceritifed Pelvic Floor Yoga Teacher, and dedicated meditator in Shabhala Buddhist tradition. She teaches workshops and classes on Vinyasa yoga, Yin and Restorative yoga, and meditation. She loves working one on one with practitioners to guide them toward activating their full potential.

This episode highlights the work Senayit is doing at Mountain's Way Sanctuary in Orford, New Hampshire in the foothills of the White Mountains on unceded Abenaki land, where she holds space for BIPOC healing and facilitates racial justice accomplice trainings through which white-bodied people undertake energetic reparations for the harm that inherited legacies and structures of white supremacy continue to enact.
