First off, we are deeply opposed to racial inequality. We want to use our voices to stand in solidarity with black and indigenous people of color (BIPOC). Listening to BIPOC leaders, authors, and activists, we hear them saying that a great place to begin is by unlearning and/or relearning with educational materials written and endorsed by BIPOC. This journey begins by recognizing how white privilege is embedded in our current social and political systems and reflecting on how we, as white women, have benefited from the current structure.
