How You Know She's The One featuring @RealEstate.Coach
How Do You Know When She’s the One? Here's what we have to say about it. Being young and single is great, don't get me wrong. Having the freedom to meet different women, sleep with different women – and do it all again tomorrow – is one of youth's many privileges. However, as we get older, it's hard to deny that the “lather, rinse, repeat” nature of being single doesn't get old, as well. When it does, you're bound to start looking for something more. Something deeper. You finally set out to find “love,” or whatever that is, and some are luckier than others at finding it. The funny thing is, when you look for love, it's harder to find. Are You An Introvert?
I have been an introvert all my life. Some see it as being strange, anti-social, arrogant or maybe egoistic. On the other hand, there are people who can take you as being simple calm and quiet and a little less friendly then the rest. Well, you can be either of the two, both of them or none of them. Personality traits differ from person to person. So, that is your call to take – what kind of person you want to be. If you’re an introvert, I’m sure you’ve been questioned too. Introversion is a personality trait characterized by a focus on internal feelings rather than on external sources of stimulation. Introverts and extroverts are often viewed in terms of two extreme opposites, but the truth is that most people lie somewhere in the middle. While introverts make up an estimated 25 to 40 percent of the population, there are still many misconceptions about this personality type. It is also important to note that introversion is not the same things as social anxiety or shyness. Being an introvert does not mean that you are socially anxious or shy. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/health-wealth-womanhood/support

Undetected Depression with Nurse Jessica
Can You Be Depressed Without Knowing It?  Coming to see our depression for what it is can be tremendously helpful, even life-changing, in at least two ways. First, depression can affect all areas of our life, making us feel like everything is falling apart. Second, once we've named it, we know how to treat it. Several "talk therapies" have strong research evidence for alleviating depression. Even the people we're closest to might not realize we're depressed, especially if we're good at "soldiering on." They may sense we're not at our best, but might attribute it to other factors. Given the greater public awareness of depression, how is it possible to not know when it's present?  We discuss several factors that can play a role: 1. Depression can look really different from person to person. 2. Depression tends to develop gradually. 3. In a related way, the various symptoms of depression often develop at different times. 4. There may be an obvious reason for feeling down. 5. There may be no obvious “reason” to be depressed. 6. Some symptoms might not seem like depression. 7. We don’t want to see ourselves as "depressed." Sibling Dynamics featuring Nurse Jessie
Aaliya Bashir & Jessica Nwafor, RN are discussing Sibling Dynamics. The effects of sibling relationships may go beyond childhood bickering and bonding, according to Penn State researchers who found that these relationships may predict similarities and differences in siblings' education later in life. In a study spanning about 15 years, the researchers found that when siblings felt more warmth toward each other in childhood, they were more likely to achieve similar levels of education. But, when siblings felt that their parents' treatment of themselves versus their sibling was unfair, or when their fathers spent more time with one sibling than the other, those siblings achieved different levels of education. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/health-wealth-womanhood/support

The Sex Talk featuring Corey Hackett (@coreydemitraushackett)
Corey Hackett, Model, Mathematician, Stylist and Philanthropist of https://www.workharddresswell.com/ joins us to talk about "the Birds and the Bees." Yes, the Sex Talk!  "The birds and the bees" is an English-language idiomatic expression and euphemism that refers to courtship and sexual intercourse. The "Birds and the Bees talk" (sometimes known simply as "The Talk") is generally the event in most children's lives in which the parents explain what sexual relationships are. When did your parents (or any adult) discuss sex with you? --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/health-wealth-womanhood/support

What's In A Name? (feat. @dopehenna_atl)
"What's in a name? That which we call a rose By any other name would smell as sweet." It would seem a conundrum that such little attention and value is placed on the meaning of a name. I usually make it a point to ask each person I meet what their name means. Nine times out of ten, they give a clueless look and say something like, “Well, I don’t know.” Another common response is, “I read the meaning once, but I can’t remember it.” For most in this culture their name holds no power, no meaning and no value. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/health-wealth-womanhood/support
