First of all, I don't know why I started this off calling it "Semaglitude" - oops!Semaglutide (brand names are Ozempic, Rybelsus, and Wegovy) is the newest weight loss hot product on the market. Hundreds are flocking to their doctors or clinics, trying to get a prescription for this diabetic medication for its weight loss effects.  But does it actually work and will it work long term? <- This is what I will go over in today’s podcast!  While medications can be a great adjunct therapy for those in more extreme cases, is it the best for others and is the price worth it? When we think of stress, we think of our looming to-do lists, finances, deadlines, and maybe right now we’re stressed about the holidays coming up! Life Updates + Living With Anxiety
This episode is near and dear to my heart.I get super raw and real as I dive into what its been like living with anxiety - How it started, how it's been going, things that have helped me cope and continue to press on...Our mental health can be JUST as big, if not bigger, than our physical health. In fact, our mental health shapes our physical health and can manifest as physical symptoms. If you or a loved one is struggling, know that you are not alone and that there is a LIFE WITH ANXIETY. Its a myth that you can just overcome it and live without it; instead, you must learn to live with it and detach yourself emotionally from it. My hopes in sharing my story are that it will inspire others to be honest with how they're really feeling (it's ok to feel shitty!) and to be an avenue of support for those needing a safe space to chat. PLEASE do not hesitate to reach out to me via instagram or facebook to chat!
