This episode goes into a bit of detail of why there's been a pause in episodes, but also where the energy of this podcast is directing itself to now.While a short episode, I feel it's important for us to remember that prayer is very much an important part of being a Christian.  Not just prayer in times of need either, but of praise and just general conversation with our Father.

Talking about perfectionism and ADHD as a Christian, and how it can impact lives and ministries.This is more raw than most episodes that have been released thus far.  Both to remind anyone that perfect is impossible, but also as a therapeutic stance to not strive for perfection but excellence.The only perfect human was Jesus Christ, and one can easily argue that's because he was also divine.  We should instead focus on being children of God, designed in His image, instead of a contorted image we see ourselves being.

It's important to understand what each of our roles are in both the Church and our families. Each of us were given a specific purpose to fulfill. The father to instruct, the mother to nurture, the son and daughter to respect. (Eph. 5:21-33) But in this day it's easier to find people who don't know that this exists in the Bible, let alone how to apply it to this world. While I won't go into the other half of this topic, being the female side. As a male I can speak on the male-specific areas. In this episode I'll be talking about how to become a better son, whether we are 5 or 75. Everyone faces spiritual warfare, but how can we be prepared? Paul instructs us in Ephesians 6:10-20 on how we can find comfort in God's grace to keep us protected through these times.  An entire book on this could easily be written, and it has more than once.  But not all content is created equal. Here we look at the first 3 articles of armor and go into detail about the significance of not only how they apply to us but why Paul gave them the attributes he did.

Mental health and Christianity has been an interesting, if not diverse topic for a while.  This episode touches on the topic to help explore the idea that it's okay to need help outside of elders.  Even teachers of the word can need it as well.It's time we start celebrating those who are seeking to serve God as fruitfully as they can.  2020 has seen its fair share of Christians, prolific and otherwise, taking their own lives due to the stigmas.  Superman isn't real, we are all humans and we should love one another.  Remove the pedestals and give them encouragement, bathed in respect and admiration.Scripture:- Colassians 3:16-17

Looking for a new or first church?  There is definitely not a shortage of options in areas, and with the Internet existing as it does now the options are virtually endless.However, there is one key aspect to church finding that you should hold firmly to, and that it is Biblical.  While this term is used frequently for this, it can be hard to discern what this means to a non-believer or newborn Christian.In this episode we discuss the foundations of a Biblical church and things to keep aware of, along with how we can better understand what the church is about.Scripture: 1 John 4:1-3

News recently got out that Jon Steingard denounced his faith to God.  This episode looks at the reasons he gave and how we can explore these ourselves.  We also look at the scripture in the Bible, 1 Timothy 2:8-14, speaking on ministry.  This episode will not be a deep dive into this scripture, but it is an often-quoted passage for how "oppressive" Christianity is towards women.  A future episode will look at this deeper and also explain in more detail why this is not oppressive.

Salvation how it's obtained is very important.  How we consider the way to Heaven should direct us as Christians as to where to focus our energy and time the most.  While many churches and individuals have their own unique ways of looking at this often contested matter, this episode focuses on what the Bible says about the matter.While the aim is to not force you to believe in a certain manner, we feel it is necessary to share the Biblical stance a Christian should be able to take if they want to live a life like Jesus.

Change is often difficult to deal with, especially when it means changing yourself.  While this is a life-long adventure, always finding areas that need changed or improved, starting with yourself can see lasting effects in other areas as well.  But what does that look like as a Christian?  How can we stop thinking about ourself and instead turning the attention to God?  This episode talks about doing this in a self-reflective manner  by changing how you address the situations you'll find yourself in.
