Benjamin “Bugsy” Seigel is one of the most famous Las Vegas gangsters in history. The former CEO and head of corporate culture at Murder, Inc., he made a real name for himself throughout his thriving career from street pickpocket to head hitman. Unfortunately, not all good things last and just as his business in Las Vegas was lighting up the strip, his mob career was going downhill. On June 20, 1947, Bugsy’s life came to an end when he was shot through the window of his girlfriend Virginia Hill's Beverly Hills home. No one was ever charged in Seigel’s death. Join The Lady Dicks this week as we dicktect the life and death of Bugsy Seigel, talk about the mob and try to solve the murder (which you know will definately happen). And don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten about the ghosts—we’re recapping where you might come into contact with the ghost of Bugsy, and talking about whether or not you should check in to the Flamingo Las Vegas.
