Greater Gold Leadership Podcast Episode #7 - How to be a Positive Force During Negative Times
In this Episode, Brandon and Chad address the recent challenges facing the United States, from the Covid-19 quarantine to rising racial tensions in response to the death of George Floyd. While acknowledging the difficulty in addressing these issues, Brandon and Chad propose a three step approach to engage with others and be a positive force during negative times: (1) Awareness of the problem and empathy for the experiences of others; (2) Relationship - building genuine, long-term relationships to create positive change within your sphere of influence; and (3) Commitment - beyond the hashtags and other outward displays, making a commitment to organizations and communities for the long term.

Greater Gold Leadership Podcast Episode #6 - The Great Reversal: Paradoxical Truth in a Time of Uncertainty
The worldwide spread of the Covid-19 virus has disrupted everything from the global economy to the basic freedoms we take for granted in the United States. In this episode, Brandon and Chad discuss the concept of "paradoxical truth," or as the great pastor and author Eugene Peterson put it, the "great reversal." Chad and Brandon draw on several truths that run counter to what the world tells us to pursue (for example, when we are weak then we are strong). By tying these truths to real world issues facing us today, Brandon and Chad provide leadership lessons from a different perspective as the world manages through this crisis.
