On November 12, 2020 Lake Jackson's Mayor-Elect Gerald Roznovsky hosted his first post-election town hall at The Local in Lake Jackson. On November 3, 2020, Kevin Cole was elected Pearland's next Mayor. During his campaign, Mayor-Elect Cole stressed the importance of transparency and accountability to rebuilding public trust, which has been broken. And, he promised to host no fewer than four town hall meetings per year as a key component to rebuilding that trust. On October 13th, Rhonda Seth and Felicia Harris Hoss had the pleasure of interviewing Texas Supreme Court Justice Brett Busby and to talk about his first statewide campaign, the impact of COVID on Texas state courts, and some of his experiences that have helped him become a widely-respected statewide jurist. On Friday, October 9th, Grace & Grit's Heather Martin sat down with Sarah Linder, candidate for Justice of the Peace, Precinct 4, Place 1 at the Brazoria County Republican Party Headquarters in Angleton, Texas to talk about her campaign and candidacy.

On October 2nd, Grace & Grit's own Rhonda Seth had a chance to sit down with Courtney Gilbert, the Republican nominee for Brazoria County's County Court at Law #1, for a Facebook LIVE conversation. The two met at Table 24 in downtown Lake Jackson and talked about Courtney's candidacy, her extensive trial experience, and unmatched qualifications for the job.
