Alex & Nick are obeying the road rules and travelling to and from the cinema this week on GMT Bites. This time around they talk about the film formerly directed by Edgar Wright but now directed by Peyton Reed. The podcasting duo fail to reach the heights of Antman but they do succeed in not freezing or crashing the car!

Alex, Wade, and Alex (with shadowy accompaniment from Nick) talk about the insanely engrossing story and world of The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt. The highs, the lows, the sex and magic, we talk it all through, until we need to break and eat some raw meat. Along the way we do get very distracted by many manner of things but eventually we work past Alex & nick's hate for Gwent and learn to love this game.

Peter Jackson's third epic, is done and dusted and so now why not reflect a little and hit while the iron is cool but still glowing a little. This time around it's Carl, Julian and Isaac sitting down and contemplating over which takes the cake as the hands down the better film set in space. Is it Interstellar or 2001 A Space Odyssey. They are both pretty similar but also very dissimilar films. GMT Bites is back, but we are mixing things up a bit and trying to appeal to a more sophisticated audience. No not really, we are just changing the format a little and looking at taking a bite out of more than one film an episode. Trolls. They've invaded this week's GMT Bites with the Scandi flick Troll Hunter. David, Nick and new comer Julian take a peak and try to come to terms with a Norwegian hunt for Trolls. No not those long haired cute toys that you'd put on the end of your pencils in the 1980s, proper trolls. Big, hairy, scary trolls. They are alive and well in Scandinavia, who was to know? How does this little found footage film stack up? It had some hype when it first came out but then disappeared into the night all too soon. Now the boys are dragging into the light and seeing what there is.

Rhiana, Carl & Georgia jump on the traveling Studio Ghibli Showcase looking back at the works of Miyazaki and Takahata. highlighting three of the films in the showcase and seeing how two documentaries colour and inform the world of Ghibli for fans of the films and cinema in general. Creepy, creepy, crappy, or champion? Annabelle; the movie about a killer doll before killer dolls were a thing. Nick & John are stepping into the experimental world of podcasting in a pub for this week as they break down their opinions and spur lyrical about the sequel to Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. It's a collection of lamentations about the pitfalls of seeing films on big big screens, realisations that Australians have damn good immunity, clarification about what the film is called, and people asking for a ciggie.

This week Nick and John are at it breaking down and trying to come up with a better version of Michael Bay's newest entry into the Transformers franchise. It's rants, rambles and genius ideas a go go that Hollywood should, but won't listen to, as these two half decently deconstruct something that wasn't entirely constructed to go with and then get off track as per the norm with these kinds of things.

Nick and Carl experience technical difficuties from the 25th Floor of a wee hotel room as they reflect on the goings on of the 2014 Sydney Film Festival. The pair stick it through and reflect on some of the highlights of cinema and lose track as always as they revel in the fun that is the Sydney Film Festival.

Sometimes cinema gives us greatness; The Ten Commandments, Gladiator, American Beauty, Valami Amerkai, Groundhog Day. Other times they give us Transformers, and then occasionally the stars align and films like this are born. Wild Child is a by the numbers vehicle for an actress. This time it's the niece of Julia Roberts, Emma Roberts. It's a hot mess of a fish out of water story. It could be genius or it could be the Howard the Duck of the early 21st century. Luke, Annie & Nick get around the kitchen table and try to figure what Wild Child is all about. Is it good? It takes us an hour to figure out. WARNING this podcast is no holds barred spoilers!

It's politics, it's sex, it's House of Cards Season 2 and this time around Carl, Owen and Hiliarie are reflecting on another 13 episodes of the tale of the man who would seek to be President, Frank Underwood. House of Cards Season 2 has hit the world, and while it didn't light the TV on fire like season 1 it is still a paragon on contemporary melladrama.
