Get Your Self Scam Free – Introduction

I decided not to get mad or get even just get my money back somehow, write up what I had encountered, and then move on. And writing this book is part of moving on. While I’ve put the bulk of this data into several blogs, ebooks, presentations, papers, and so on, I’ve decided to cobble it all together into a single book so that people can get this data without having to go through what I did. After I’ve done what is probably thousands of hours of research, my view on this was distilled one night, waking up after long hours editing and researching links and references on scammers. This is the post I wrote early the next morning: Remember Pinocchio when he visited that island and just escaped being turned into a donkey? Well, that s the same chance we have with our efforts to stop scammers by getting people to simply wise up. All that free beer and pool is just the temptation – much like Pinocchio and his friends. Skip school and have some fun, said the fox and his cat-buddy. The fox got paid for delivering boys to the coach driver. That s our telemarketer. That set-up on the island with all that free beer and pool – that s the sales floor and product fulfillment. What happens to our hero/heroine? They slave away in the mines for the rest of their lives paying off the debt they just racked up. Nothing in this universe is free, after all. What s in that beer? It s the idea we ve all been sold on that you can get rich quick and leverage your easy credit to start making 6-figure incomes overnight. It only keeps us working in the mines – same as it always has. But how about we wake them up – like Pinocchio? What if they just quit drinking the beer (Kool-Aid) for just a little while and see the people around them sprouting tails and ears? The part of the story you don t see is where they get enough people in the village missing their kids and complaining about this guy with the stage coach and the mines – that the authorities crack down on him and find some technicality to take away his coach license. Sure, he just finds some other business to go into, but that island shuts down because there is no one paying for it any more. No one to work the mines means no one to pay for the mining. And that s a close approximation to what happens as people start complaining like hell about the scams they encounter. Here’s an idea: while a lot of people besides myself have said to complain like hell to all the authorities they can what if they also started helping other people to not get scammed to begin with? They just simply help people wise up about what they are doing online and on their telephone. People don’t have to give away their telephone numbers or credit card numbers. They don’t even have to use credit cards at all. People don’t have to be victims. But they can go ahead fall for any scam they like – if that’s what they choose to. The idea is to give them the choice. So our job here is not just getting our own lives free from scammers and rip off artists, but it s making this planet we live on a bit safer place for everyone else. Get Yourself Scam-Free Lessons The first part of this book is developed into 5 lessons you can use to quickly get your life scam-free, or at least on the road to being so. While it won’t immediately stop all pestering telemarketers from calling you, it will lower their number of calls drastically as you put the advice on these pages to work. And you’ll see their number drop off rapidly as you apply this data. Additionally, the material here can be applied to more areas of life than just commerce and online purchases or business opportunities. Get Your Self Scam Free – Summary

You can see that this book contains a short synopsis of a great deal of data out there on how life is actually wired. The data I give you here has been tested and proved over and over. But it won’t be good for you until you prove it to yourself. The point here is that you don’t have to live a life which constantly has you at effect. You just need to get smart about how you life life from here on out. Releasing all the bad things which happen to you keeps the from happening again. So your life then starts getting better and better. Life and the Universe could be said to be scams on their own. But they don’t have to be. All you have to do is wise up a little more. In this book, I’ve given you the basics so you can do all this for yourself. The trick now is to help others you know to scam-free their own lives. The more we do that, the more we can get these scammers to run out of people to dupe. Or at least make their model a lot harder to accomplish. Not that we’ll be able to get everyone. But at least our friends and families should be scam-free, don’t you think? It’s up to you. I’ve given you all the tools I know about in order to make it as easy as possible for you. And there is plenty more research you can do on the Internet or in a library to look up these authors I’ve mentioned above to check their data out for yourself. I’ve listed books and resources in the Appendix so you can. Get Scam Free Bonus – Become Recession Proof

Let’s review a bit and show you how this works: You know that per Maslow, we are here essentially to get up to self-actualization. And according to Cialdini, we know that there are 6 actions others can take to get us to do just what they want us to. Levenson then told us that this really just boils down to three key desires. You also know how to release these underlying desires and so will move away from those who are trying to manipulate your life. You no longer have to be the effect of scammers. Now, I also went over with you what some of the key scams which are running in society. They are all interconnected for the most part, and just want to keep you doing whatever makes them money. Here’s where it gets really interesting. Anyone reading this who has figured out how this scene works can actually get out from under any of these addictive scams and start living their own life. Many of these now scam-free people find out that they can get and hold onto all the money they want in life. As well, their relationships with others improve markedly. Since they don’t buy all the miracle cures out there from the pharmaceutical company ads, they quit having all sorts of side effects which ruin their health. Back to our recession-proof idea: When you start making your own personal decisions based on your own common sense, then you can expect that things will start getting more sensible around you. But you have to get the nonsense scams off your lines: Quit listening to the news media. Get your data from the Internet only the data you really need. Quit listening to advertisements as much as possible. As well, take all politicians’ statements with a sizable grain of salt. Pay off your debts and cut up your credit cards. Maybe keep one for emergencies only. (But consult a professional for your finances as you need advice I’m not one.) Stick to your budget and save 10% or more of each paycheck to savings. And keep those savings as reserve until vitally needed. Purchase only what you can afford. Meanwhile, make sure you are providing valuable services and products of your own. Use the Golden Rule to give more value in advance so that this comes back to you. Keep applying Levenson’s releasing techniques to get rid of all scam influences from your life. Now, the thing you must know is that recessions are cyclical. They happen every 6-8 years and so can be prepared for. Those savings become your investments. Most bargains are found at the bottom of a recession, and the person who is provident will have the resources to grasp those opportunities. If you know just the simple datums you’ve gotten in this book, you can work yourself out of any economic scene, including job loss. Most of these scenes can be traced back to one or more scammer listed above. I don’t need to go into this particular recession we’re going through, but casual research through alternative media and the Internet show that it was caused by several of these scammers colluding with each other. The trick is to stay steady at your own goals, to be wary of those who scam for their living, and to be trusting to those who give you value open-handedly. Gather books and references which will help you regardless of economic upturns and downturns. There’s a lot out there. Study and restudy these to get more out of them every time. Know that you can do anything you want with your life. Anything. The only real limit you have is between your ears, so to speak. With these tools you’ve been introduced to above, you can reduce or eliminate those self-limits. But scammers are running a trip of telling you that you have to be the effect of them. Advertisers, governments, media they all simply want you to do what they say. What they want is for you to just shut up and make money so they can take it with your permission . It’s a form of slavery. When you apply the tools you’ve learned in this small book, you can permanently get rid of those shackles. Get Your Self Scam Free Recipe – Lesson 5

Get yourself Scam-Free recipe The biggest thing we don’t go over in this book is how to get a refund. One reason is because the various scams out there also have various recourse actions to take. And these actions can be found with any relevant research. But the real reason is that I’ve been working to get you all this data is so that you can see a scam for what it is and avoid the temptation and trap. You don’t have to get the refund you didn’t fall for. First, let’s review what you’ve learned so far: Maslow told you that we all have a hierarchy of needs, running from the actual physical up through emotional, social, cognitive, aesthetic, growth, and right up to self-actualization. Cialdini told us that these needs have been hijacked by scammers who have learned 6 key points to use: Reciprocation, Commitment and consistency, Social proof, Liking, Authority, and Scarcity. Levenson showed us that the reason these 6 work for scammers is based on 3 single desires: Security, Approval, Control. Through these three authors, you actually see how you are hard-wired, but also how you’ve been trained through social contacts and family training to become a victim of anyone who knows how to use these factors against you. Persistent scams in society you should be aware of: Advertising in any form. Not the same as promotion, although they can be interchanged. Advertising generally uses all the Cialdini and Levenson points in order to get you to buy their product. Promotion, especially local classified ads, simply tell you that something is available as a service or product for purchase or exchange. Most businesses have bought into this as an addiction. Look over advertising for yourself and see if what you are getting is not utilizing one or more of Ciladini’s Influence points. Credit Cards essentially, telling you that you can put yourself in further debt in order to get instantaneous gratification. On top of this, they’ve got the Federal OCC to take control away from states so that CC companies could charge over 30% interest. But believe it or not, they get most of their money from tacked-on fees. Pay them off and stay away. Save your money (try 10% out of every paycheck) and use old fashioned checks and cash. Buy what you can afford, not what you desire. Insurance mostly a bet against your own ability and security. If you have saved money and invested, if you saved the same funds which you pay to insurance companies and put those into sensible investments, you’ll have funds for accidents and so on. Work out your budget and stick to it. These guys scam you on fear. You can see the security, approval, and control points here. Government in any form. While according to the Golden Rule, you have to give before you can get, governments rely on taking before they can give. And government is involved cheek-by-jowl with all the scams above. Any handouts by the government usually imply that you vote a certain way. Charity by private companies, groups, or organizations are usually really open-handed. Local government bodies are usually more sensible, since you can talk to them personally and they live where you do, but don’t count on it. Look over dealings you’ve had with any government body and see if they aren’t using Levenson’s points to enforce compliance. Mainstream Media. If you really start looking over what you watch as news these days, you’ll see that it is all slanted one way or the other. There is little difference between the tabloid journalism that passes for news coverage and the made-up dramas which follow. Blood, violence, cops, Feds, sex. What they cover is designed to do what? Keep ratings high so advertisers will continue to support them. And mostly they cover government officials’ actions. See the pattern here? Anything you don’t get the expected result from is a scam. But it really amounts to your own ability to decide for yourself and create your own life around you. The more choice you give up to others, the heavier your own shackles become. A recipe to become scam-free: Lester Levenson actually found that the biggest problem people had was not in that they were wired to be patsy’s or dupes. It was that they kept holding onto whatever it was that made them that way. All the bad mental habits you have were learned and can be unlearned. Levenson developed techniques you can use to release these bad mental habits from your life and quit using them for good. The simplicity of these steps are: Accept whatever it is that is bothering you. And let it go. It’s really that simple. Even if you don’t think you can let it go, to some degree you already have. When you see you’ve been duped by some scammer, simply accept that as a fact. See the emotions behind it, the desire for security or approval or control and then just let it go. Don’t try to figure it out or think about it, just accept it and then let it go. When you release in this fashion, those points are gone for good. At least as far as that particular scam. As you keep this up, you become more and more scam-free. As you learn from each of these situations, you’ll avoid more and more. Now this doesn’t mean you get completely free overnight, although it is possible. More likely is that you are going to find yourself releasing more and more situations you find yourself in where you don’t get the expected result. And as you do keep releasing, you are then more able to simply treat the people involved in that situation as you would like to be treated. This will give you the best result. You want to start doing this with all non-optimum situations you run into. Do this all day long. That is the secret recipe for getting scam-free for good. Now there is a lot more to Levenson’s release technique, also called the Sedona Method. In the Appendix of this book are a couple of Sedona releasing sites and their products so you can learn more how to apply this on your own. Both have a lot of free material on their sites as well as free downloads or low cost introductory material you can use to improve your life with. Obviously, being able to release anything and everything that is bothering you is far more applicable to your life than just the scams you will quit running into. Get Scam Free Lesson 4 – Levenson and Your Basic Desires

He had been a success at nearly everything he tried. Brilliant, he earned a full scholarship and received several degrees. Turning his hand to manufacturing, mining, and sales, all his businesses usually turned out successful as long as he was running them directly. Yet, his health continued to worsen, almost to spite all his success. Chronic migraines, perforated ulcers, and major cornaries (heart attacks) these finally led his doctor to tell him to simply go home and rest. With the medicine at that time, he was told that any physical effort could be his last. So he was left with only his mind to work things out. Throwing away all that he had studied in school, he started simply analyzing himself from the inside out. In three months, he worked out what was bothering him and incidentally solved his health problems as well. What he discovered left him in such a high state that it took many years of study after that, studying all manner of religious and philosophical texts just to understand what he had achieved. For our use, this boils down to some very basic rules: a. The basic purpose all of use have is to survive through a human body, as an individual. b. This can be stated as simply three desires: – The need or want for security. – The need or want for approval. – The need or want for control, or to escape control. c. That all these mental habits we have amassed are designed to deal with these desires. Any scam operating in life has one or more or all of these operating. Scammers will punch buttons you have to get you to agree with them that if you only buy their product, you’ll get the approval, security, or control in life that you’ve always really wanted. They just want your money by giving you the illusion of partially fulfilling these desires. But desires, by their nature, cannot be fulfilled. The trick is that where you actually work out how to let go of these basic desires, then you can’t be sold any scam-product after that. Just look at the ads on TV or any other medium and you’ll see that they are all using these points to get you to buy: Security All the pharmaceutical companies are trying to get you to tell your doctor that you need such-and-so product in order to protect and keep your health. Approval How about that new car, the big house, the flashy clothes… Just what all these people say you need to be owning in order to be accepted in modern society. It’s just what everyone else is wearing or owning these days. Control Government laws are all about this. Getting people to do what is good for them, what they are supposed to be doing. And all our tax money they throw after pet projects doesn’t accomplish squat. Like government schools the highest budgets get the worst results. And home-schooled kids routinely win the spelling and geography bees. You can see your own variations of these. We’ll cover later some techniques which Levenson discovered so you can release these desires from having so great effect in your life. – – – – Your next action is to review a recipe of steps. Get Scam Free Lesson 3 - Maslow and Your Motivations

Abraham Maslow wrote a paper in 1943 called A Theory of Human Motivation . This theory contends that when people have met their basic, physiological needs, they will then work to satisfy their higher needs. Maslow based his study on exemplary and successful people. Maslow s work explains Cialdini s later research, and why sales works at all. People work to fill their basic physical needs first. Breathing, drinking, eating, eliminating waste, and having sex are basic needs of any person. If these are not met, you can find physical pain occurring. After these comes physical and emotional security. Security from crime or violence, security of job, security of finances (pay check and savings), security of family, security of health, and security of personal property. You have to be safe in what you own and where you live and where you work. Worry is found where these are not resolved. Social needs are next. These include friendship, sexual intimacy, and a supportive family. Belonging to groups and being able to give and receive love from others is a very prized solution. This gives the reason for bitter divorces and hatred of those who betrayed you. Esteem needs then follow. All humans have a need to be respected, to have self-respect and to respect others. This is not just fame and glory. It also involves confidence, competence, and achievement. While you can be personally secure in your own self, it doesn t hurt when someone pays you an honest complement. See the actual strengths in a person and tell them so they will feel better for it. Cognitive needs acquiring knowledge and understanding. There are many phrases which say, When you quit learning, you die. We are all seeking to understand the world around us. Aesthetic needs expressing and appreciating beauty. People like to have beautiful surroundings and to look beautiful themselves. They will help people around them to become more beautiful. Beauty is more than skin deep. Growth needs we don t stop growing as we get older. The need for evolution is constant and a basic drive. One is always seeking the next level. It s just the way this universe is set up. Plant a seed and watch it grow. Self-actualization be the best you can be is not just a slogan. At the highest level, people are trying to make the most out of their native abilities and achieve the purpose that drives them in this life. We all seek to be our best at whatever we ve chosen to do and become. We all can t be Einstein s or Bill Gates , but we can be the best person we know how. Maslow had a great deal more to say about his theory. And you should explore this on your own. Wayne Dyer, who studied under Maslow, is a great help in this area through his tapes and books you can learn many, many things about yourself and the world around you. Our use of this is also to see how people work what makes them tick. not just to sell them stuff, especially at inflated prices with no delivery like scammers. Comparing Maslow to Cialdini, you can see that while some have used Cialdini to just pick the key points to use in triggering their sales, with Maslow s theory as a base, you can also identify your customer and see what they are most likely to want next. However, most telemarketers are operating on the law of averages and only 1) want to make their sale, and 2) resell your name and number to another telemarketer. Our point here is that you can use what Maslow and Cialdini wrote in order to figure out what you actually want and need from life, which may be wildly different from the group you deal with at work, what your friends think or even what someone you respect and look up to regards as important. And that s what is really key in learning how to become spammer-proof There is another author to study, one who nearly died trying to live by life s rules until he found out how the universe actually worked. Get Scam Free Lesson 2 - Cialdini and Influence

Cialdini and Influence To get yourself scam-free, you have to first quit being a patsy A patsy, a chump, a dupe, a target, a victim – – you know, one of those guys with a big target on their back which says kick me We re all that way a little bit. Even Professor Robert Cialdini, author of the book Influence admits he s one in the opening line. But after 15 years of research, he came up with an incredible book which is still being circulated and brought out in new editions with updates. I got a copy of his fourth edition after I read where a scammer said Cialdini had the reasons people will buy whatever you have to sell. That scammer missed the point. The reason Cialdini wrote the book was to help people get out from under all the mis-training they had received in their lives and start taking more control over it. The first thing you have to do is quit kicking yourself. (It feels so good when you quit, believe me.) The second thing is to really study how come you fell for their scam – hook, line, and sinker. The basic reasons (there are only 7, according to Cialdini) have to do with the way you were raised. But they are trained-in, not genetic, so you can un-train yourself. Six principles of influence. Dr. Cialdini laid out six principles: Reciprocation Commitment and consistency Social proof Liking Authority Scarcity (And a seventh, Self Interest, he found so common as to only include it as a footnote.) Reciprocation – give someone a gift and they want to give you one. With every free offer you give, always enable the person to pay you back in some way. Leaving their e-mail address is one. Including an ad for a low-cost service is another – or also include an ad for your main service, which gives them a choice of how valuable they think your initial free gift is. Commitment and consistency – get them to take a baby step and they ll want to take another and another. They also expect that once you ve held their hand, you won t let them fall – you have to be consistent, too. Once a person takes a step toward a goal, they will be more likely to continue. Your opt-in is one such commitment. As you allow them to be consistent with their goal, they will take another. Build inertia in your buyers and not let them stop. Social proof (consensus) – people like to follow the crowd. Humankind is a social species. We like to know what other people like. They want to buy a popular product – a common solution that others have found workable. If you are starting a new product, then tell how products like it, or products it was based on, have helped countless thousands of individuals just like you to succeed. Allow people to herd. Liking – people elect politicians because they are most like them, not because they are able to do the job. Sales people who make the customer feel appreciated, who build up their esteem with honest compliments – these people get the sale more easily. Don t send a drill sergeant out to sell vacuum cleaners. Again, the honest smile and honest compliment will win the customer, not insincere flattery. People want to like other people in their herd. Humor can help here, as will being included in a common goal. Build rapport. Authority – the general always commands the troops, regardless of whether they like it. Credibility is one factor in this. Build your authority in their mind and they will be more likely to follow your request to buy now . When people deal with experts, they can put their trust in them. If you only deal in absolute truth, you will win loyal followers. Scarcity – is what drives shoppers crazy on Black Friday, that they annually stampede when the doors open at 4 am. And pity those poor people who got knocked down every year. There is an Internet equivalent two days later, called Black Monday when people return to work to look for bargains while they should be doing their jobs. Both phenomenon are driven by scarcity. Ebay sees the same effect when the price on certain items skyrocket just before the deadline approaches. Self Interest – Really, this is pretty straight-forward: What s in it for me? Get Scam Free Lesson 1 — What Is a Scam?Robert C. Worstell

I ve been there, done that and now I ve been hard at work writing this up so you don t have to. But this isn t a book about the various scams that had me on their dirty end. Just take my crib notes from the School of Hard Knocks. Here are some basic rules of the scammer universe: Scams are all around you as well as successes you just have to take advantage of your real opportunities. Nothing around you is permanent, you have to constantly create and and then build on any success you make for yourself. The only constant is change. Most people are wired to be successful. Scammers are wired to find fast-profit, doomed shortcuts. Only as you give is exactly how you get. This Golden Rule is inexorable works all the time, whether you believe it or not. And you have to give first. Educate yourself and learn how to learn. Learn from everything and everyone that comes into your life. Scammers prey on the naive. Just be yourself that s the best advice anyone can give you. Putting these rules to use in your own life Let s take these apart and see how you can use these to get your own life scam-free. Scams are all around you as well as successes you just have to take advantage of your real opportunities. A scam is getting an unexpected result. Mostly it involves paying out time or money or both and getting little or nothing back. Life goes on around you, regardless of what you think of it. Even if you know something is a scam, it doesn t make it stop. Sure, if you get enough people together, you can force those scammers to move on but you can t get them to stop being scammers. That s up to them. And it s a personal choice just like you choose to be honest. No one can force a person to be honest. They have to decide that it s better for them to be that way. The point of this book is to educate you so that you no longer have to be the unwilling effect of scammers. And that means government scams, Internet coaching scams, phishing scams, etc. You also have to see that your successes are just as real. And it s actually easier to be a success than it is to keep a scam going. Statistically, it proves out. Look for the real opportunities, take advantage of them, and enjoy your own success. Nothing around you is permanent, you have to constantly create and and then build on any success you make for yourself. The only constant is change. More than likely, you ve already observed this fact. Especially in this age of Internet speed-up, changes happen quickly and routinely. If you look closer at Nature, you ll see that this is the same phenomenon at work. Nature is always changing, even though some parts of it appear to remain the same. Trees are there almost as long as rocks. But if you really look closely, you ll see them change from year to year. And on a much shorter life-span, the grasses grow and die every year, and will change the diversity of the plants in any field with some variation every single year. Insects live out their entire lifespan within a single year and often within a few months. Birds live a bit longer, up to the larger mammals which can live a century or so. But none of these are exactly the same from year to year. Your own success is dependent on change. Money in your bank account isn t the same from month to month, and the banks and lending institutions change their interest rate more quickly now than ever. What is constant is your own ability to create right now in the present moment. And that is what really determines your own success. Scammers are accidents waiting to happen for anyone who touches their lines. But you aren t stuck to any accident or mistake you made. So stumbling across a person who is intent on their own personal profit isn t something you have to live with for the rest of your life. Just change what you are doing in the present and move on. Most people are wired to be successful. Scammers are wired to find fast-profit, doomed shortcuts. The upbringing most of us had was to follow the rules and live an honest life. What makes genius is the link these people have to inspiration so that they can see where a rule needs to be bent or broken to achieve a better result. Geniuses make things better through creative thought and action. Scammers see rules as something in their way. If they can make more money bending or breaking a rule, then they can live with the result they get. These guys are the original get rich quick addicts. It s how they are wired. Everything is me, me, me. Creative geniuses work for the greater good. Scammers are in it for themselves. Two opposing ends of the scale. Making and keeping money is hard work. Even the best often go broke several times and can wind up bankrupt in a borrowed death-bed. Because when you only work for money you aren t working for building and giving value, you are simply working to maintain a facade. Money is only a fictitious symbol, not the real thing. Your family, your true friends, those people who trust you those are the value you have in your life. All the people you have helped as you lived your life. And when you push and strive to constantly create and distribute value to everyone around you, there is no problem maintaining a valuable life style. Only as you give is exactly how you get. This Golden Rule is inexorable works all the time, whether you believe it or not. And you have to give first. There is one natural social law, that you can prove for yourself. Whatever you give out is what you ll get back. Just like gravity, if you drop something with weight, it will go down until it hits something else. The Golden Rule is the same. Unbreakable, no matter how hard you try. Where people think they can get away from it is where they actually just don t want to look at what they are doing to create their own surrounding world. If you go around being critical of people, you will wind up with a lot of critical people around you. Be angry and everyone you know will be angry when you see them. Be charitable, forgiving, honest and everyone will respond in kind. Now, your returns aren t exact. Some people are working at being critical, angry, or selfish because they haven t yet realized this natural law. So they will continue to try to criticize you, make you angry, or withhold stuff that they could simply give you. But as you continue to treat them as you like to be treated, they will simply start to change their life around for the better. You may have to look harder, but the change is there, regardless. It s that point of turning the other cheek which will get their attention. Sure, this takes faith in humankind, but as you test this for yourself, you ll see that this is exactly how the Universe operates. Simply acting to give value to everyone you meet will get value in return to you. Educate yourself and learn how to learn. Learn from everything and everyone that comes into your life. Scammers prey on the naive. Life is said to be full of lessons. And luck has been defined as being prepared for opportunities and then taking advantage of them as they show up. Where people don t look for the lessons, or opportunities, they can live quite miserable lives. That is the pessimist at work. And to some degree, we most all have some pessimism which we have been taught and accepted in our lives. But scammers only work by preying on the naive and those who won t learn. These are known as stupid . But factually, they aren t unless they refuse to learn. Scammers usually have to take advantage of someone who is uninformed and then will move on to other people they have found. Because people learn from scammers and don t make the same mistake twice. Now, it might take a bit to wise up that they aren t giving you anything of value. Some (like Bernie Madoff) run elaborate schemes and continue to lie and deceive as they go. So it takes a while to get wise to them. Living is learning. Too simple. Look for lessons in everything you run across and do. This way you can constantly improve your life. All mistakes or bad judgments are temporary situations. Most successes had a string of failures that they had to learn from before they made it big. Getting scammed isn t the end of the world. It s simply another lesson to learn. Scammers set up their systems based on naive lack of understanding. Look, listen, learn. Just be yourself that s the best advice anyone can give you. There is nothing better than having your own personal integrity intact. Integrity isn t something handed you at birth. It s a quality which you build in yourself, and it s what self-esteem is based on. You know that you know what you know. And you know why it is that way. Because you ve lived life and learned as you went. You know that when you treat people fairly, you will get fair treatment in return. If you don t, then you have recourse. But it isn t getting revenge or getting even. It s more that you have additional lessons to learn and to teach in return. But being yourself is the best way to live life. And those who life a scammers life will go nuts trying to figure out why you are acting the way you do. They just can t understand that mind-set. Personal integrity is like that old phrase, Smile it makes your enemies wonder what you ve been up to. And the joke is always on them. How you got into this mess you aren t as stupid as they make you feel. With 95 percent of our thinking controlled by our subconscious, it s no surprise that Madison Avenue has made their living figuring out the emotional triggers which get us to act on their sales pitches. And that certainly applies to telemarketers. While we could (and probably should) go over the ethical application of these materials, what we have to take up first is this: It s not your fault that you ve been a patsy especially to telemarketers. Like they can see
