Georgia Dental Medicine - Dr. Christopher Anderson - COVID-19
A conversation with Dr. Christopher Anderson of Georgia Dental Medicine and the COVID-19 Pandemic.During the COVID-19 crisis, Georgia Dental Medicine is concentrating on emergency dental care. This will allow us to care for emergency patients and alleviate the burden that dental emergencies would place on hospital emergency departments. As a service to our Greater Atlanta and Marietta community ( we do not want dental patients visiting the emergency room for dental care because of the heightened risk! ), we are available for any dental emergency, regardless of your status as a patient of record, or not, during this unprecedented time.If you are experiencing a dental emergency, call our office at 770-973-6494 and listen to the message for Dr. Anderson's cell phone number. For non-emergency inquires, you may contact us through the website here, or leave a message when calling our office. Before being seen at our office, Dr. Anderson will need to determine if it is safe to see you. Dr. Anderson will ask you a series of questions about your general health. We will also take your temperature before treatment as a precaution. Also, in an effort to distance people, if your dental issue cannot be managed via tele-dentistry and you must be seen, we request that you remain in your vehicle when arriving at our office. Please call us (770-973-6494 ) upon arrival and we will tell you when to enter the building.Dental emergencies are those that are potentially life-threatening or require immediate treatment to stop tissue bleeding or alleviate severe pain or infection.
