Season 1 Recap Show: 1st 10 Interviews Revisited
This week we’re recapping the first 10 interviews of Game Dev Deconstructed. It seems not that long ago I had the idea for making a gamedev podcast where I could sit down with other game developers and talk about the industry. In the short time of doing this I’ve already meet some awesome people, and learned a lot about other's creative process and what drives them. So let’s get started! We'll be back soon with new episodes so stay tuned to our Twitter or Facebook for updates on that. Thank you for listening!

Indie Game Studio Founders Panel at Dallas Startup Week w/ Amir Rajan & Nick Culbertson
This week we’re coming to you live from a panel discussion at Dallas Startup Week. The panel, titled Indie Game Studio Founders, features myself and Amir Rajan along with moderators Chirag Gupta and Courtney Garza. In this episode, Amir and I discuss how we got started coding, our influences, plans for the future, and a lot more. I’m excited for you all to hear from Amir. He is the creator of the iOS version of A Dark Room which hit number 1 in the app store. The game was originally created by Michael Townsend, and Amir reached out to him during a work subaticle asking if he’d be interested in having A Dark Room enhananced and ported to iOS. Amir covers the details of their deal in the talk which you’ll hear in a bit. I’ve learned a lot from him over many coffees these past 3 or 4 years, and I’m glad to be bringing some of that to you today.
