Welcome to the new series of our podcast. Jaun Elia is one of the most popular contemporary Urdu Shayar. He was born in India and later moved to Pakistan. His poetry was full of melancholy. And he was excellent at glorifying it.

Orignal Poem. This is the third episode of Halki Fulki Baatein. This poem depicts the thoughts which flashes every night to an insomniac. "हैं नींद नही क्यों आँखों में, तू किस असमंजस में रहता है?"

Original Poem. It is based on dilemma one faces when shifts to an alien place to earn the bread and butter. "शहर निकले थे शहरी बनने, खुदको ढूँढते ढूँढते खानाबदोश हो गए"
