Episode 24: Millennium Bridge - Listening to your Inner Voice.
Hello everyone. Well we are still in the grips of the Coronavirus and Tishy and I are keeping well we hope you are too.  Please make sure you are Staying at Home wherever you can. This episode was recorded 3 weeks ago before the lockdown began, when the world seemed a much safer place!   This week we are walking from Southwark Bridge along to the Millennium Bridge and what a fantastic walk it was.  The Globe Theatre at one end and St Paul's Cathedral at the other.  Our topic this week is one we've spoken about before - Listening to your Inner Voice.  If you are feeling unsure about an aspect of your life take a moment (many of us have plenty of those right now) and take stock.  What is it you want to achieve? Deep down you know but too often the noise of life gets in the way.  Listen to your Inner Voice, that gut feeling or intuition that shows you the right way.  You don't always have to act on it but it will give you a clearer view on what is holding you back or making you unhappy.  Give it a try! And as always there's our foreign phrase of the week and a very Handy Hint. Stay well and hopefully it won't be too long before we can get back to London and carry on with our tour of the Thames Bridges. Come Walk with us.

Ep 23: Southwark Bridge: Are you an attention seeker?
Hello everyone.   Well, what a crazy world we are living in right now. Tishy and myself hope you are all keeping well and staying at home where you can.   Our latest episode saw us take a walk from London Bridge to Southwark Bridge along the Thames path on a lovely sunny day.  With the threat of lockdown we recorded it two weeks ago and kept ourselves safe. During our chat we discussed what it was to be an attention seeker and how it can become a bad thing.  By nature we are both pretty outgoing and love attention, find out if we fell into the category where the attention seeking spilled over from something "normal" towards a problem that makes people run as fast as they can in the other direction! There's the usual history lesson, handy tip and Useful Foreign Phrase of the Week. We've decided that after Tower Bridge, Southwark is our new favourite! Come walk with us.

EP 22. London Bridge - Emotional Shopping
We hope you are all keeping well during this trying time.  Hopefully we can bring a little bit of cheer to you. Week 2 of our tour of London bridges and the second one up river is the infamous London Bridge.  Tishy tells us the truth about THAT sale to the Americans.  It was pouring down with rain so we sat and had a chat about emotional shopping whilst looking at the bridge!  There are so many reason to shop but when does it become a problem? As always there's our foreign phrase of the week and a handy hint for you to try. Come walk with us.

Ep 21. Tower Bridge - Is it right to be right?
Hello everyone.  Welcome back to series 3, this time we have been brave and moved away from the coast and into the big smoke!  We are taking you on a tour of all the London bridges starting at Tower Bridge and working our way upriver to Hampton Court Bridge. We've got the usual Tip of the Week and Handy foreign phrase as well as our discussion topic.  This week we find ourselves talking about the importance of being right (or not).  How often do you feel you need to win an argument no matter what the cost?  Have you ever taken a step back and thought about the damage you are doing by being right?  Its an interesting one, have a listen and tell us what you think.  Don't forget to leave us a review, we love to hear from you. Come walk with us.

Ep 20. Sandgate - Listen to your inner voice
Welcome back to Fun Life Walks your friendly walk and talk. This week we head west but not too far west!  We are winding our way through Sandgate a little coastal town along from Folkestone.  It wasn't the sunniest of days and the wind was a bit blowy but it was lovely to get out despite every fibre of our bodies wanting to sit on the sofa under a cosy blanket.  BUT our Inner Voices told us to get off our butts and get some fresh air and that's what we chatted about... what is your inner voice and how can we make block out all the other noise around us and listen to it.  When you do you will be rewarded with a new outlook on life!  Give it a go.   There's also all the usual tips and phrases for you. Come walk with us.
