In Paddy's own words, it was at this time that he lost the ability to walk but gained the ability to fly. His outlook and perspective on life is beyond inspiring and our conversation touches on his extremely positive mindset, his process to reach euphoric states through meditation, his work in the Irish film industry and his talks to school children on mindfulness and attitude. After retiring from MMA a few years back, Kieran put all of his passion, time and heart into becoming a full time Jiu Jitsu athlete. He runs his own gym in Tullamore, training 3 - 4 times per day and recently received his well earned Black Belt from Coach John Kavanagh. We talk about how he got started in Martial Arts, his MMA career and why he transitioned in Jiu Jitsu, the not so glamorous jobs he's had in the past and his future goals of being a world champion and producing world champions.
