IT: Chapter One (2017)
We've always been a part of the Losers' Club - and getting to revisit IT: Chapter One (2017) proved once again why it was a new, instant classic! From Bill Skarsgard buzz and Stephen King eccentricities to the absolute NEED for a group of kids in the 80s solving mysteries - IT delivers on atmosphere and heart all around. Do the Pennywise dance with us and float with us under the bed (NOT the sewer...) as we cover the first part of this haunting and beloved duology!

BARBARIAN (2022)
"Who is the monster and who is the man?" Hunchback of Notre Dame asked, and Barbarian (2022) further explores (and answers) the question. We would very much like to NOT go down and explore these ideas in the darkest depths of an underground basement-catacomb-cave-of-sorts, but WE WILL! we'd do most anything for Bill Skarsgaard and Justin Long, let's be so serious right now. Join us under the bed (and in the basement, underground...) for Barbarian!

The Menu (2022)
“But is the menu any good?” A GREAT QUESTION - both for the new restaurant in town, but also for The Menu (2021). How delicious is this slow-burn thriller filled with dark humor and a plethora of recognizable stars? What’s the real-world commentary at play here? Does it make you want a cheeseburger real bad? The answer to the last question at least is YES. Join us as we go dive into everything The Menu has to offer!

Silent Night (2021)
HAPPY HOLIDAYS Dust Bunnies!! Even though it's the most wonderful-time-of-the-year doesn't mean you can't keep it spooky too! Silent Night might not be as "spooky" as we predicted, but it is...perplexing and haunting. And Keira Knightly is there, so - all is calm, all is bright. Join us as we dive into what this film is saying (or isn't saying?!) and grab a potato halfling each to last you the whole viewing. Stay festive, stay spooky!

Aftermath (2021)
What do X-Men’s Ice Man & Alice Cullen have in common? Well, besides maintaining icy temperatures & standing out in their respective franchises - they also share a pretty good horror movie together! Aftermath (2021) is a lot of things (no, really - it feels like 3 genres in one) but boring is truly never one of them. The Wretched (2019)
Do you ever find horror movies comforting? No? Listen, it’s a thing! And somehow The Wretched (2019) works at being the most upsetting & unsettling film while still delivering all the right comforting & cozy vibes. Well, ok we say cozy - but that’s also how you’ll be under your blanket with the nightlight on after you’re done watching this thriller. Don’t worry, Dust Bunnies, we’ll be right there with you - join us as we walk through this terrifying tale together!
145 minutes | Jul 27, 2022
Nope (2022)
Jordan Peele has us yet again yelling his movie title at the screen - & phew, NOPE (2022) truly lives up to its name! This movie kept us guessing from start to finish (& maybe long after), but how does it compare to Get Out (2017) & Us (2019)? Or perhaps, it shouldn’t be - NOPE surprised us & had us covering our eyes every other scene, but we have QUESTIONS !!! Come listen to us ask them all in our latest episode, found wherever you get your podcasts!
113 minutes | Jul 20, 2022
The Black Phone (2022)
If you know us, then you know we love us some scary movies with Maya Hawke’s dad - so you KNOW we had to go see the Black Phone (2022), even if he’s in a creepy half-mask half the time (& that only scratches the surface of his character’s creepiness). But *OOOF* this film surprised us in the best of ways - keeping us on our toes while screaming & cheering with our fellow theater-goers (humanity is at its best in the theater). Catch Maya Hawke’s dad’s latest thriller in theaters now & listen to our latest episode wherever you listen to your podcasts!!

The Lie (2018)
Not gonna LIE (*elbow nudge*) we had never heard of The Lie (2018) before, but if Joey King stars in it - say no more - WE’RE THERE! THATS OUR RAMONA! We discuss cold eggs for breakfast (like, for EVERY breakfast), the comforting face of Peter Sarsgaard (& his height), Joey King’s agelessness & range (she is our pride & joy), & what we’d do in all the characters’ shoes (since hello, we know how to handle anything.....) Join us for this low-key mystery-thriller with twists, turns, & cozy aesthetics!
108 minutes | Jun 15, 2022
It Follows (2014)
We won’t claim to crack what the theme of It Follows (2014) is truly about, but honestly - we get pretty close! Maybe🤔 Okay, but what we CAN promise is that our general buffoonery, endless tangents, & deep analytical thinking will alllll ~follow~ our every word in this episode😏 Enjoy our take on this deeply unsettling film with its haunting music & somehow comforting aesthetics wherever you get your podcasts!🎙✨ & hey, maybe even give US a follow😀😀

Dark Skies (2013)
Dust Bunnies, how could Dark Skies have been hiding from us for so long?! And by that, we mean how could Netflix have not suggested it to us sooner 😤 It’s all good though, because this film gives us our much-needed fix of unidentifiable objects, Rube Goldberg machines, + husbands with mousy features (we’ll elaborate on all, don’t worry). Join us under the bed as we discuss Dark Skies (2013), the Kerry Russell film that needs a sequel most!!! (I mean, MAYBE…we need to re-examine her filmography)
112 minutes | May 18, 2022
Malignant (2021)
We're still trying to figure out this movie, the horror movie community is still trying to figure out this movie...this movie doesn't know what it is...but HEY we get that, Malignant! And listen, Adam from Supernatural is in it for 5 minutes so that has to count for something. Truthfully, we had a lot of fun with this film even when we were outright baffled, gagging from grasshopper legs, or mesmerized by long-lost final fantasy character designs. Join us under the bed for a movie that's still trying to find itself - but aren't we all *tear in eye* Hold our hand, we'll get through it all together, Dust Bunnies!

Ouija: Origin of Evil (2016)
Welcome to our coverage on the prequel that honestly should have been the 1st film - but who are we to complain when OUIJA: Origin of Evil gave us a taste of what Mike Flanagan’s filmography would soon deliver. Unlike ouija boards, we don’t have any rules - please freely listen to us scream and analyze over the best scenes & jaw-dropping (or jaw…sewing) moments of this movie! Enjoy, Dust Bunnies - and no, we won’t play ouija with you. Ever. Stop asking-

The Conjuring 2 (2016)
Hello Dust bunnies!!!! We’re back from our hiatus with the long-awaited continuation into our beloved Conjuring universe with its 2nd installment that we somehow get confused with the 1st film (hint: it’s because they’re both classics). Join us in this episode that we’ve had recorded & waiting just for you, as we dive into the Warren’s 2nd time (but definitely not the last) making their case that they should essentially adopt us.

My Bloody Valentine (2009)
Dust Bunnies, have you seen My Bloody Valentine, the pinnacle of all 3D creation circa 2009? We're going to bank on your answer being "er...no," or the last time you HAVE seen it was literally 2009. Go, watch, refresh, realize, and adore this film with us! That's right, My Bloody Valentine might be a surprise hit for us, and no, we're not letting our SuperWhoLock brains take over (that much). If you want teen-slasher gore without any of the teen shenanigans, Jensen Ackles rarely smiling but looking like a marble sculpture, at LEAST four old white men who are all vaguely nice yet aggressive but indiscernible from one another, and a murder mystery that's worthy of being your 2021 Valentine's date - join us for our audible love letter to My Bloody Valentine <3

The Conjuring (2013)
WE FINALLY did it!!!! Dust Bunnies, we've finally embarked on our Conjuring Universe journey! We couldn't be more excited to start breaking down and freaking out over everything in James Wan's cinematic horror world featuring two of the best people we know - Vera Farmiga & Patrick Wilson, duh! (Aka Mom & Dad). Did The Conjuring (2013) change the scary movie genre for good? Yes. Is this a film we were almost terrified to cover because we love it JUST that much? Also true. But we've started down our Conjuring path that'll lead to many other gems in the film universe, & we can't wait for you to join us!
