From Cold Lake: September
It's September in Cold Lake. School is in session, the local millionaires are still keeping their secret, and what is everyone going to do with all them cukes? Colin Waitt's From Cold Lake is a once-monthly serialized radio play set in the fictional town of Cold Lake, MN. Brought to you by the people behind Off-Broadway's Puffs and the cult-geek-theater-hit Kapow-i GoGo. Take a left at the Texaco on County Road 8, keep right when you pass the barn with the funny roof, and once you start to feel kinda lost, that's when you know you're almost there. It's the town of Cold Lake's bicentennial, and it's time to celebrate. From the ice fishing fleets to Local Artist Linda Klaver's Open Mic Night at Debbie's Bar/Bait Shop, this is their year and gosh darn if they're not gonna shine. It's Garrison Keillor meets Martin McDonagh in this slice of rural Americana.
