Episode 162: All about that Lass - and 10 other players
The first half of the season is over - Gazelec ended on a high, beating a low on confidence Lyon side - which should see the end of Hubert Fournier's time at OL. Marseille drew 1-1 away at Bordeaux. It may have saved Sagnol to keep Girondins great home record against OM alive. There were some positive signs though. The team then debate and pick their Team of the Season so far. Bordeaux fall 4-1 to Caen after their promising display against Liverpool. Patrice Garande's team played it perfectly and showed everything that has made them a success this season. Marseille and Monaco share six goals and show the rest of Ligue 1 how not to defend. Toulouse lean towards the youngsters to help them get out of trouble and Jean-Marc Furlan gets some stick for over using Benjamin Nivet. Montpellier exploit Lyon's awful defence and become Ligue 1's form team outside 1st place. Should we still worry about the coefficient, or just let the smaller teams have a go at Europe - it can't get any worse.
