Ep. 89: Trust More, Worry Less
This week I am coming to you with a solo episode. Things have been quite interesting these last several months and as we enter into a new quarter, a new season, I wanted to revisit the topics of fear and worry.  Despite what is going on outside, despite our current employment statuses and despite the hardships, we still have to keep pressing on. We still have to be giving even when we are in a time of famine. We have to remember that fear is a result of failing to submit to God. It is a result of our unbelief.  We must learn to trust more and worry less. This is the only way that we can increase our piece and stand in prime position to accept the blessings that are waiting for us on the other side of that door. It's not easy and I struggle with the concept of "what is for you, will be for you" ever day. As many of us continue to face unemployment and receive rejection after rejection. Know that the right opportunity will come your way, you just have to trust more and worry less.  Don't forget to subscribe rate and review the podcast! Ep. 86: Where The Mind Goes, The Man Will Follow
The mind is so powerful. Where the mind goes, the man will follow. If we allow our minds to go to "the dark place", then we will go to "the dark place". If our minds go to a place of confidence, then we will not only be led to confidence, we will be confident.  As we continue to strive in these uncertain times, remember to strengthen your minds. Feed them with positivity and surround yourself with positive people. In this episode, I talk about the dangers of engaging in "if only" and "what if" talk. In order to move forward to the land of confidence, we need to appreciate who we are, what we have, and what we will be in the future. FREEda's World is available everywhere you enjoy your podcasts. Ep. 83: #Sayhername, Women, Find Your Voice!
This week's episode was hard to get through. I am not happy. What's happening in this country is not ok. I am tired, but there is work to be done. Women of color are seen as the backbone of the community, and we are. We are the backbones of our community. We are the voice. When they kill our men, we are the ones who speak up, while still holding it together to care for children and our community. We have to be the voice for ourselves. Women are victims of police brutality too. We are being murdered by the hands of law enforcement and this is not ok. On this episode, I air out my frustrations, while urging our sisters to find their voice. Those who can speak, speak, those who cannot there are other ways to let your voices be heard.  We cannot be silent. We need to continue the fight for justice. We need to continue saying the names of the countless women who have lost their lives at the hands of law enforcement. We need to #sayhername. *FREEda's World podcast is available everywhere you enjoy your podcasts.  *Follow us on instagram @freedas_world
