Gabriel is the proprietor of Desert Island, a wonderful comic book store in Brooklyn on 540 Metropolitan Ave. He sells just about everything there so that might be why he wasn't joining my condemnation of super hero comics. Ann is the only woman I know of where men (including myself and Anthony Cumia) regularly say, “I want to be her.” We don’t mean a pretty 50-something with long blonde hair. We mean a respected iconoclast who gets away with talking in public the way we all talk in private. The reason Coulter gets away with this kind of behavior is she’s done her homework. That’s the hard part. It’s one thing to say, “If you don’t want to get killed by ISIS, don’t go to Syria but if you don’t want to get killed by a Mexican, there’s nothing I can tell you.” It’s another thing to have done so much research on the subject that not only can you prove immigrant crime is way worse than we thought but you can also explain why nobody knows about it. The short answer is “Carlos Slim.” The long and much more interesting answer is “Adios, America” which is her new book and we focus on that for this episode.

Dante Nero (not to be confused with @Nero) is a comic and a relationship expert who hosts The Beige Phillip Show. He’s been a pimp, run dog fights, stripped, and I think he was even a gigolo for a while. He’s a huge dude who literally fucks feminists and he’s been in a bunch of movies including one where he got to choke out Channing Tatum. This is the most fascinating interview I've ever done in my life. Galen was a 19-year-old who had a 14-year-old boyfriend and went to prison for 9 years for the privilege. If I was the father of the 14-year-old, I probably would have kicked Galen's ass. What I definitely wouldn't done was confined him to 4.5 years in solitary confinement. That's a bit rich. The most shocking part about his case is that he was lucky to get away with 9. He was facing life. He did something pretty much every gay man on earth has done and plenty of us straights (pretty sure my girlfriend was 14 when I was 17) and he suffered dearly for it. Galen is now an advocate for prisoner's rights and his stories of prison culture are stunning. Anti-folk hero Jeffrey Lewis is a brilliant singer-songwriter who does comics in his spare time. He's a born-and-raised New Yorker from the Lower East Side and like our host is a big fan of the band behind the show's intro music, Crass. Lewis and Gavin start out having a heated discussion about graffiti but things get heated when things get communist.

This week's guest is anonymous because he's not allowed to talk about his school. He's one of a group of parents that started a charter school in Harlem and it is kicking ass. I love this subject because it's liberals pet victim being rescued by something they see as evil, the free market. We always hear the trouble with schools is "systemic" and "it's not one thing." They also blame the parents a lot and say teaching is the hardest job in the country blah blah blah. It's all PR garbage the unions put out and they're so powerful, people still fall for it. The way you fix schools in this country is to totally give up on them and build your own. That's what this guy did and it worked.

As the husband of Samantha Bee and the father of her three children, getting a beer with Jones is like scheduling a sleepover with the president. He recently left The Daily Show to pursue his own sitcom on TBS and he is also executive producing Samantha’s new show that is also on TBS. Combine that with being a family man and your free time doesn’t even include going to the bathroom. Despite being a born and bred Canadian like his wife, Jones appears to be straying from his roots and turning his back on “The land of lakes and snow.” We discuss.

This indefatigable pundit from DC has already had about five careers in journalism. He is presently a cohost on Fox & Friends and the owner of The Daily Caller but he has a long history in print media and other television news shows. He started out at Esquire, New York, the New York Times and eventually got his own show on CNN called “Crossfire” (we discuss the controversy surrounding his Jon Stewart interview on the show). After leaving CNN, he started a new show called “Tucker” and left there to join Fox in 2009. Carlson sees himself as a lazy person who never lies but that seems like bullshit.
